****After much negotiation and more sweat equity than I can tell you I am now the proud owner of KandleWicks inc., formerly Candle-Illusions.

I will be manufacturing scented gel candles and hopefully building the business back to it's once elevated stature. The former client list looks like a who's who of hotels, resorts, casinos and major retail chains.

I am pleased to say that as of today I am ready for business.
My first samples are being shipped on Monday to a marketing rep company in FL , who I hope will be the first of many who agree to represent us to their clients.

The domain has been purchased and we are in the process of photographing products for the new web store and for our print catalogs.*******

I make soy candles. Hers are different than what I make. I have made gel candles. They are really cool to make.

LOL....Well I need some Hyacinth, and maybe some of that Raspberry when ya get it....Lemme know what and how much...I am a candle person for sure...I may have been born under a water sign of the moon, but I could easily be a pyromaniac, as I love Fire...

Ya but.....She may want to carry a line of soy also...Like I said, ya never know, and it could turn into a tidy business for you...

Well I have been on the phone for the last 1/2 hour I am hoping today that Cody come's home Its lucky that she has Family around
I think that is why I moved back home to be close to my family but sometime I wonder why HAHA
Well It is very cold here today 0 with wind chill -15 so I have no idea what I am going to do clean a draw HAHAHAHA When you clean a draw take 2 pencil's out and put back 4 pens
I was watching the Local news last nite and some lady got her Heating bill for 1 month over 900.00 they estimated it . But it will be adjusted But she buys these cans at Home Depot shake them lite them and they warm up a room for 4 hours I wonder if its like Sterno.And how many fires will be started.
I have to go and get a fresh coffee be back

I checked out the websites the candles that are at the Candle-Illusions are battery operated. It looks like the business could be both maybe.

$900!! holy crap-does she have it set at like 110* or something!!! I am not happy that mine are $150, couldn't even fathom $900!!

Last Feb when we got out pge bill I just about croaked it was $712 AHHHHH. Rick got on the phone right away to find out what was going on. Everything was right on their end (always is, isn't it) come to find out a coil busted in the water heater. Man that meter was spinning like crazy. After we got it fixed Rick call pge again told them what happened, they too off $412 How cool was that huh?

OMG I would have had a fit!!!!!!!!! My bill is usually 250-350 a month. We are total electric, and usually someone is home all the time.

Sorry to hear about your job Joyce, what kind of water pond was you wanting?

We are all electic also and we had bee getting charged for gas that we were even hooked up to so we got credit for that also.

Thats pretty cool Cindy I live by myself and Last Month my bill was 200 I heat 3 room on the first floor and than Upstairs I have it close off its very cold up there that is were I but my plants instead of the Garage I have about 6 Plumaria Those Flower that grow Lay Flower
Its cold in my house right now 60 and I am thinking thats why my plants are dying

What plants are dying? Do you let your house get real warm then cold again? That could be why. They don't like changes.

Oh I have a quick questiong, when I go to plan these brugs out side, What do they like, full sun, shade. I am planning my flower beds again and have to make special areas to keep the yard birds out!!!!!!!!!

Brugs like to stay cool. The wilt in the hot sun big time, I know I dang near killed mine. They do good in early morning sun.

Cindy I have African Violets and I have them in a tent Greenhouse I am thinking that I am going to get clean Fresh dirt and do a little Transplanting I have to go to the AV forum as I have some questions on Wicking Plants
My house get to be about 65 in the day and I have lites and Heat Mats I Had so many plants I may have to stop growing them
When I go to Susan She has plants put away for me so I will be bring them home and starting again
I took a couple of pictures I am just sick

Kim... AVs like a north or east window, no direct sun...and no heat mats, and lots of water in the bowl under them...They also like to be somewhat rootbound..Too big of a pot they tend to flounder...and very lite AV soil... normal potting soil is too heavy for them...

My Plants are in the East window and the Heat mats are off . With being cold in my house and I have the Tent Green house maybe I should put the heat mat on a low shelve and it might stay warmmer in the tent

Well, I don't know anything about AVs. Don't much care for them, they are pretty. When I was working for Merry maids, this one house I cleaned, the the lady had a AV in her kitchen window it was HUGE. I'd never seen a AV that big. It had to be at least 12" in diameter and the flowers were about the size of a 50 cent piece

Morning all,
My neck hurt so bad yesterday I wanted to puke... so went to chiro and most of the time because of the Fibro I hurt worse the second day from the visit... My neck feels better but still not right...
Kimmy, Oh my... you have to take those plants and throw them out... Not only is there no hope for them but they will harbor bugs as they love the rotten ones... I will help you with wicking you know that and also show you how.. I bought new pots because you are coming and one day we will play plants... Your plants need more warmth... I turn my heat to 50- 55 at night so they do also get cold but yours need help from Aunty Susan.... You will be blown away when you see how many I now have...LOLOL
Any new news on Cody? I have to get my but in gear and make some cards....

Beautiful Susan. I'm not any good at house plants...so sad.

I was planning on a pond in the new garden I made last year. I left one I love, but it's at Dusty's still and I have visitation rights. Bill says not to count it out yet, he'll keep an eye out and we may find something. Here is a picture of the one I left.

Joyce, I'm so sorry you lost your job! I know how you feel, it's devastating. Something will come up, you'll see, something even better!

I am so excited Kim is coming I could almost pee myself!!!

We have about a 2000 square foot house-have the vents in the upstairs except the bathrooms, and we have all the vents in the main floor open and all the ones in the basement open and we keep the heat at about 70 during the day and about 65-67 at night, so I guess my $150 gas bill for the heat and the stove and the water heater isn't too bad.....

Aunt Cookie-check out Ebay & Craigslist-you may be able to find a nice cheap one there:) Maybe someone that bought it and never got around to putting it in and now doesn't want it or can't put it in for some reason..

Your lucky to have gas heat Stacey. We set our temps the same.

Well, I have electric AC that we have on a lot on the summer cuz of the humidity that we set at 74 and our electric then is about $120

We are all electric with a heat pump our bills run around 420.00 for two months but we also use the wood stove.. Our highest is the last two months of hot season which is around 600. something for two months... I need it cool in the summer... I don't win with the cool in the winter except in our bedroom or I can't sleep... If the wood stove is on I have to go outside to feel good...LOLOL

Joyce, why did you move from that house? Don't mean to be nosy ^_^. You left the fish there also? Are there some Koi or just gold fish? I have a 250 gallon pond that I got from Sam's club for $40 and have about 10 fish in it now. I have more fish at my mom's like about 100 more. If and when we move my plan is to have a pond like yours.

My House and my pond now... ROFLLLL and yes the fish are still in there...waaaaay down in the bottom of it, but there nonetheless...
I will get a pick of it today here in a bit.. nowhere near as beautiful as in the spring tho... LOL
