I have Sprint too....hmmmm Kim, we talk for free.......at least it looks like it is just a lot of their retail stores that are closing and not the phone service itself!!

Ladies... word is that no tower will go down... AT&T/Cingular will take them over if Sprint/Nextel goes down... it's kind of like the banks that are taken over by other banks. Don has been keeping up with all that since communications are his company's mainstay... they will not allow a down tower to stop commerce... and the way it works, it takes all the towers out there to keep the cell signals going...

WOW... I am so out of practice having a teenager in the house... sheesh.
He has been invited to play lazor tag this evening with some school kids... Kristi called and said she is in a meet in the morning and Mike wants to go watch... ugh, 7am...
So, Kristi is going to play lazor tag with him tonight, staying the night, I'm going to get them to the meet on time in the morn... then she's staying the night again, then off to the mall on Sunday... ALL this was planned in the last 45 minutes for me. Wasn't that nice of them?

I had to get my insurance independently when Ross retired as the price through the company was out of sight!!! The offered to provided for me as Ross was covered due to his time with the company but no way could we have afforded the cost. My sister retired from teacher 6 years ago and the price she pays through the school still is unreal!!!!

Yes, your mother is correct, when a door closes, a window opens that is why my youngest GD is so special---8 1/2 months after hubby's death. She is my blessing.

Hello, form a very cold Michigan. I am here, and having a great time, but sure wish it was warmer! It was 29 when I landed this afternoon, and only supposed to be like 18 - 19 this week-end. Sorry all, I just popped in for a few to say hello. SO I will try yo go back and read more later.

It got up to 52 here today... 47 now, and supposed to drop into the low to mid 30's here tonight, high tomorrow in the 20's again...

I got home about an hour ago after stopping here bu the house to have a borrowed Wheelie washed that was filthy inside and out...Dispatch called me just as I was leaving the truckwash...I am working Sunday for sure, and most likely later tomorrow...but, they need the Wheelie I'm using back tonight, because it has to go out first thing in the morning... so they have a car for me to use tomorrow then I swap out back into the borrowed Wheelie on Sunday AM, and then swap out back for the car to do 2 airport runs on Sunday afternoon, and I'm thankfully off on Monday...
My day started out terrific at 5:30 this morning in Springfield...about an hour from here...My Battery charge light came on and flickered about 15 mins from my patient... by the time I got 5 mins away, it came on and stayed on...I stopped and checked all the belts to be sure I hadn't lost one, and they were all there and tight...Battery is new and no corrosion... then when it shut down in the drive to the nursing home, I knew what it was...My alternator let go, and they have a built in voltage regulator...

My patient was an hour late for dialysis, with another driver coming to get the both of us and then dropping me at the barn to get the other Wheelie, and mine on the back of a tow truck...Ran my hinnie off the rest of the day, and then come home to see the news about Cookie...
This just makes me absolutely sick...

I told Cookie several weeks ago that I wanted to open my own business....Maybe this is the window??? I dunno, but bratty baby Sistah that she is, I adore her and maybe we can come up with something...
Only entrepreneurs and small businesses taking a risk are going to save this countrys finances IF we don't get taxed to death by the new administration...We have GOT to help stimulate the economy by our own actions...Cookie is far from afraid of hard work... nor am I ...and we will put our heads together and see what we can come up with besides headaches and hangovers...We may beat this beast yet!!

I am off back to the barn to swap vehicles... sigh...At least I got to see a clean Wheelie for an hour or so ....

OH hush Kim, LOL. I'm so jealous of those of you that can meet each other. I'm so far away from everybody the only way I will get to meet most of you is if I can go to BJ's in May but that is a huge doubt. With Rick not working money is very tight. I can't even begin to save anything :(

Trisha, we will be leaving my house on the 17th of June, driving ....oh I don't know need to get map.....and it's at my mom's DRAT!!!!! I know that we will be on I-5 somewhere on our trip. My cousin lives about 20 miles from Walla Walla.
