Ok I just called Rob To see what the story is on Cody ( The Rose Girl) He Said
She is tucked in bed as snug as a bug she just not feel well she Kind of got sick last nite and had a fever of 103 and dehighdred ( SP)
Fluids I can't spell Rob Has to go to work at 5:30 tomorrow. So he will call Cody in a little while to say good nite but he is going to tell her we miss her and send our Love, prayers, Hugs

LOL... talked the kids out of playing lazer tag tonight... we met my son for dinner, and Mike's friends showed up there.. so, Steven and I scooted over to another table and let the kids have the big table... they had a great time.
But, we have to be up at 5am to get to the meet on time, so I decided it's late enough, we have to go home... they agreed. We're all tired tonight.
So, on the way home Kristi said she has to learn the "southern drawl" for her drama class... so, guess what I did... yep... I called our own Southern Bell for a "Southern Drawl" lesson... too funny, it embarrassed Kristi to talk to her on the phone... hehehe... she got over it pretty quick... then Deborah got to talk to Mike... and get a whiff of his accent...
Now, I'm ready for bed... it's not going to take long to spend all night at my house tonight...

Cindy, are you coming up through Portland? Two hour drive from me and Bill's best friend lives there.....told Bill he was welcome to come along that Laura and I might take a trip up the Columbia in June....he asked why and said the car would probably make it that far!!! We will have to think about it:)

I’m really far behind, so forgive me for responding to posts made 3 days ago.

BJ, I also find standard fruit juice to strong, syrupy, etc… I buy 100% juice and add soda water to it. It makes a kind of fruit “soda”. You might see if he likes that.

I dealt with the “almost your native language” when I was in the UK. It is hard especially if the accent is thick. There was one guy in New Castle that asked “Is everyone off the car?” referring to the train car we’d just left, at least 6 times before Shawn answered him. I still hadn’t figured out what he was asking. Even when the accent is “understandable” the different word usage can really throw you.

Jaye, I’m super stressed right now, part of the reason I haven’t been on much; trying to destress during my free time. I have faith it will work out in the end, but I wish the powers that be would make it quicker and easier to get there. I happily accept any good wishes that anyone would like to send my way.

Donna, my mom used to call me a vampire. Even with watching the kids from 6am to 8:45am I have trouble going to bed before 1am. I get up and take care of them and go back to sleep while they’re at school.

I always figured it was more likely Coyote (Trickster) messing with me than the devil. The problems I have are rarely evil as such, but defiantly unsettling.

Marion, mom helped me get everything done. I did the book all on my own, from drawing the picture to painting it, and picked up the bought items. Mom did the painting on the coasters, I did the carving. Mom painted the note holder. The bird house is one mom and grandma had made years ago. The needle point is something mom had that she thought Deborah should have, I’m not sure if it’s one she made or acquired; I only do counted stitch embroidery.

I did the needlework on that one.

I found a little trick if you are nauseated. Put a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or use an alcohol swab, and just take a few sniffs of it. Now if your really going to hurl, it won't work, but if you are just nauseated, it works every time.
Hic-up cure: put a little sugar on your tongue.

I have kinda given up on my Christmas exchange gift. I go in to a nerosurgen on the 26, and I am hoping they can do some nerve blockage. I tried to make fudge the other day, and after just getting everything ready, my back hurt so bad, I had to take 2 demoral and 2 soma. Laid in bed almost screaming for about a half hour till they finally started working. Then I was a pain free zombie for about 3 hours.

I will get the fudge made and sent out(all 30 packages) when the doctor kills those nerves. I can't wait! I will be a whole new person!

Staceypoo, you shold see the needlework Laura sent me. Trisha did the needlework and left the saying and I'm going to embroider it myself. The leather design on the journal is Laura's work and the butterflies on the coasters too. She did the carving.

Trisha, Portland is 4 hours out of our way. As soon as I find a map I will be able to tell you which way we are going. We will be there for about 2 weeks maybe longer because we are going camping the first week.
