Ha ha ha....nope no grits here!! Did you come to Maine wren?
Coffee Break: Odd News, Helpful Info & Laughs for 2009 Pt 2
Yes stayed at the National Park, went out on a sail boat. Loved it.
We went up through Penn. and New York into Canada, Back down into Maine Crossed over through New Hampshire and into Vermont around the Gorge. Loved it but DD fall at home and we had to come home a week early.
Oh the RV that I had at that time was only 16 feet long and Mom and me where traveling with 3 siamese cats. LOL
we do have pan fried patatos with onions hahah works just as good with bacon and eggs
I enjoyed eating grits when I travel your way
the only problem was how much food I was being served I gained 10 pounds in two weeks ahhahah but it so good I want to finish every bite
meow lol hahahh I dont travel with my pet sister feeds the cat and I board the dog down the street, could not handle pets on top of dealing with the kids
my sanity would go out the window
That's southern hospitality. If you want good food set down to a southern country breakfast.
I need to take the dog for his run. Be back later
No kids. The cats where great travelers.
my cat is 16 years old and howls in the car had to deal with it from toronto to ottawa four
hours of howling and hiperventalating drooling he hates the car hahaha had no choice as we were moving so never again when he leaves the house it will be in a bag
I am back. Mine traveled a lot. I started the mother off on trips in the car when she was a small kitten and her two kittens also. Beside a RV is different than a car. They went to Canada, Texas, a lot of other states here in the east and to Dog shows with me.
how does that work siemese at dog shows
They where raised with dogs. And as they never went out of the RV there was never any problem.
Beside by then the two who where still alive where very old and sleep most of the time.
ya like mine now I swear all he does is eat poop and sleep and since he has no teeth and is on canned he is costing me 40 dollars per month lol DH says we should put him down but I cant do that he will go when he is ready lol maybe he will live to be the oldest cat ever
The mom lived to 17, her son only lived to 9 but her daughter was 2 weeks short of 19 when she said she was ready. I miss them, but it is so hard to keep the dog out of the kitty litter.
see that is why I say buddy is such a good boy never had any interest in kitting litter but sheba was different she was always grooming the cats and trying to clean up after them so she would try to eat the little we had to put a baby gate the cats would just jump over it but it kept her out
Sherrie - I am also wondering about how Candyce is. I dmailed her but haven't gotten any response. I am concerned. Has anyone seen her posting anywhere?
Nope, she is M.I.A., hope she OK!!!!
Can someone phone her???
Wait! Wait! Go back! I want to see Dave47 punch a shark in the nose. Go ahead Dave. Go on. Did you do it already? Did I miss it? Dave are you there? do do do do (theme from Jaws) do do do do.
Most of missed the nose and ended up with his hand inside of the mouth!!!!!
I think it was proven that that does no work, beside to small of a target. Go for the gills.
I got in touch with Candyce and she is fine. She said she's been really busy, but hopes to be back on DG soon.
Thank you!
Yankee - I let her know that many people are asking about her. She appreciated knowing that!
I've been thinking about that problem---if something happens to one of us, how are we supposed to know? Jo Ann lives near my niece, & could go to her house to ask, but what about the rest of us? Maybe we should give our cell number to someone, just in case they need to check---and thanks for checking on Candyce, Louise.
Oh my goodness wren..you have alot of epi's huh????
I had to cut down on the indoor plants had to many and they all got to big some I gave away and some I just took a cuting and they got rid of the larger one I have trees in my house maybe thats why I ran out of room
That's why I had to build the epi house. It is a cross between a green house and a shade house. It has a a roof but it sides are covered with shade cloth and in winter plastic is put up over that. In the summer it would get way to hot to be enclosed fully.
you are lucky in zone 5 that is not possible, some of my trees go into storage for the winter darkness and 50F from october to april when the leaves fall from frost and then back out so they will leaf out naturaly I have a huge fig tree which kills hubby to move and also brugs some I keep upstairs and some down also store banana trees lol one got so big last summer we couldnt get in inside about 350 pounds with the pot so he stayed out it did say it is a perennial it may make it buried in snow may grow back from the root lol
Impressive, Wren! Those benches are awesome! That's quite a collection you have there!!
200....goodness gracious! I have 1 Christmas C, and 0 epi's. Not that I don't like them, they just won't care for Maine and power outages in the winter. lol
I love them and they are easy to careful. And as long as they do not freeze they are fine.
Louise, Glad you checked on Candyce.
D'nut, I 've punched a bunch of sharks!
Well maybe not a bunch but a few.
Wait a minute, does few mean none? Because its more like none.
LOL, Dave.
Yes, glad Candyce is okay.
LOL Dave! Thank you I needed that belly laugh!!!!!
Candyce is one of the sweetest!
Jan, is Salem City south Jersey?
Pixie, glad I brought a laugh.
I'm glad to be back here more often.
Dave, yes, Salem County is in south Jersey. We are right across the Delaware River from Wilmington, DE. We are the most rural county in the state.
