I spent yesterday playing with my DGS and visiting with my DD. Went to go visit my son at his new facility yesterday too. He is looking & sounding much better each day! I am so happy! hopefully he will get to come home soon. He has been working out with weights, and was really proud of his new muscles....took his shirt off and asked me to take a picture! LOLOL!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! I am going to attempt to pull some weeds today, seems there is lots of green out in my garden, but they are all weeds ! :(

Well the band was pretty good, I must say. Arkansas took the title for Men's Heavyweight Martial Arts fighting last night! Woo Hoo! Then they all showed up testosterone flowing rampid, an hour later there was a fight (go figure,) then they all left. I wish I had my camera, for some reason the bouncers weren't on it like they should have been, and like they used to be, so Dave, who has always worked in the bars until the last 5 years and has bounced I'm sure quite a few times, got in the middle of it, there was this circle of big guys trying to diffuse the situation and Dave was on the outside of it, he was the shortest one out of all of them, looked like a runt or something, he kept standing on his tip toes to see what was going on and he was still too short, it was hilarious!

You sure can get yourself into some jams Crissy..lol...
Stacey/Janice/Judy, not a bad drive, I've done it before and so enjoyed it....yep..count me in..

We are regulars at that place and know all of the employees, the manager, and the owner. There was just a lot of pushing and shoving, Dave's only real concern is the drunk idiot who apparently started the fight had a beer bottle in his hand. The place is huge and we were sitting right by the door at my friend's bar, they started pushing and shoving toward me and I just got up and stood behind the bar with her, then we got to see how little Dave really is, we were cracking up.

I have sausage on, Jimmy Dean I made 8 patties for me and Dave and he just went to bed for the day, I won't see him until dusk.

I'll take 2!! Do you have biscuits, too, or should I make some?

Haven't had anything substantial since Thursday..a side order for me as well..

Haven't really read all the threads lately so am looking forward later to perhaps sitting down and doing so..right now, bedding almost done ..germ free I hope...

Seedtosser1, he's the 5th of 6 kids and the smallest out of all of them, his whole family, mom included are over 6' tall and the girls weigh around 250, the boys are over 300lbs. He's 5'8" and 200lbs. LOL!

Betty I am glad you did come home finally since in the scheme of it all, they did not seem to think you were near death, since you waited so long. I am hoping today is better than the last few. It is so snowy that you can sleep and take hot baths and watch Sailor sleep too, for entertainment. There are always our stacks of gardening and decorating books and magazines that need dusting off with a good look again. You know that you all have them.

Oh yea! He has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. One sister isn't with us anymore, but all of his sisters are older than him, he has 1 younger brother.

Howdy All! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We didn't do much here. Just kinda vegged and actually took a nap on Sat with DH. Of course DD had to come in twice with "emergencies"! Never fails! Spent a good portion of it converting our VHS tapes to DVDs. It's been a blast watching movies from when DH and I were newlyweds! The kids have liked seeing their births and all the fun stuff. Only about 45 more to go.... UGH

The doggies are doing great. Dana came over today and brought Sailor and Hula's other sister - Mango. Murphy was over run with girls! They had a blast playing in the yard and I loved having all 4 of them here. DH geets a little stressed with so many and I'm like "chill out". They are just dogs! Murphy's momma is due to give birth any day to a new litter and I want one and DH looked at me like I had completely lost my mind! Here's a couple of pictures of them today.

The first one shows Dana trying to get them all to listen to her (she's good!). The one closest to her is Sailor, then Murphy, Hula with the ball then Mango.

starting early..lol.. feeling better, taking more meds..but hey I'm starting to feel alive..as long as I don't talk I'm fine..talking brings on coughing and other nasty things...so I will enjoy my day, typing away with you all and playing catch up..

Worse of the Day:

Paul is not in this morning, his wife Wilena is in the hospital..her brother donated a kidney to her years ago and when she gets ill it takes a toll on her..high fever and infection can be lifethreatening...she is hoping to get out today or tomorrow, but that is not the reason for Paul not coming in, he has the "FLU" he BEST not come in until he's sure he'll not pass that bit of fun to the rest of us...

What did I learn today???

Guess that one I can keep till later tonight..

I did think about staying home but with all this travelling I'm thinking of doing, best keep my days as vacation days...just kidding, I've done well staying in bed these past 2 weekend, only coming to work and back in bed during the work week, will continue to do same this week..by this weekend, should be my energetic self...

Laura, are you coming down with something? or were you working a late shift? Mondays are no fun..always feel once we've Monday under our belt, the rest is easy..

Betty, the stress is overcoming my medication, so I'm having stress symptoms. I've never been a morning person to begin with. I do my best work at 2am, always have. I have a lot of trouble going to bed before midnight and with having to get up at 6am my mornings suck; though I do go back to bed when I get rid of the kids. I also have a psychological aversion to seeing dawn; no matter what I think, my subconscious tells me that if I'm seeing dawn there is something not right with the world; I'm either up way too late or way too early.

I will likely come down with something, stress suppresses my immune system, but other than a runny nose, I don’t have any symptoms that would make me think I’m currently coming down with something.
