Bought the bulbs on ebay a long time ago.
To Chase Away The Winter Blues...3
do you remeber the name type mine does not look like that
Look in plant files...I belive you'll find all the info there.
yes all of those pics are just amazing thanks for posting them we do appreciate it
Sherrie, a few of my purples smell like grape cool-aid.
I remember you saying that about the scent, Celeste. Which smell like Kool-Aid?
It's dark and light purple..will try to find the name.
Oh pixie look at all those beautiful blooms! I'm drooling as I look out at the 2 or 3 feet of snow on the ground. Only 58 days to go!! Even though all I will probably see then is a crocus or two, it will be the most anticipated flower of the year : )
I found a google gadget called countdown to anything. I put in on my google sidebar, so now I don't have to count when I lose track! : )
Thanks Celeste. All the photos are gorgeous.
Meredith - I have been using the countdown - to spring!
Victor I own both of these and both smell so PF says.
I think it;s this one that may smell like grapes....

I also saw Amy wanted some, did you get them Amy? If so, I've got enough. Mine are the plain green leaved.
Pixie, that Congratulations is pretty. I just planted it last year. Glad to know it's got a grape fragrance, too.

Sure! That's a great smell.
Victor _ I searched the words countdown to spring and got a no results return : ( Can I ask where did you found it?
Shickenlady, forgive me for not knowing your real name, but I hear you about countdown to no cold! Everyone in our house has had a lingering one for over a month! That is what I dislike about winter most! Not too long ago - I remember always pittying people that got sick a lot, because I was never one of them. It all changed after my first pregnancy, they aren't kidding when they say it changes you forever. : )
No - I just 'tailored it' to countdown to the start of spring.
Oh yeah, that's what I did. We probably have the same one then. : ) Everything on it is tiny but the number of days left is big enough to see at least.
Mmmm that sounds like a day in heaven right now.
What a bokay of flowers, thanks everyone.
wow that is nice and where is that location is that near peterborough
Small Falls, in Maine.
Love the foxglove!! Is the red Salvia?
Thanks but don't you think they are a bit pitiful? (Come on - be honest ; )They don't look anything like all the wonderful pics I see on DG. The red flowers are called Indian Pinks aka Spigelia marilandica, I really love them, but they are reeal slow to get going.

my sister had problems with hers and now it is doing great do remember that it is a biannual and if it blooms the first year it will be small the next year it is huge just remember to take the seeds of the first year and add them at the bottom of the plant as soon as you take off the stems so they will start growing to bloom the next year.
I wish that were their problem, but these were in their second year. I bought some plants that reseeded and didn't have any flowers the next, then this past year I was all excited that I'd be getting flowers and boom! Little short pitiful things : ( I thinky they no like my yard.
Ooops do you mean the Indian Pinks? i think they are also called lipstick plant by some, but not the same as the houseplant kind. I found the plantfile page for you http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/48891/ First I searched Indian Pink(s) that got me nothing. Had to leave the s off : )

ok well I do know that they come in different sizes also sun and shade affect size and they are heavy feeders and they do not like to be to dry so best in full sun good soil compost and mulch if you have all of that and they are small it is the cultivar size
