I think the white stuff is pretty for xmas and then it should just go away the sooner the better,

Thank you, thank you and thank you very much. I agree it should just go away! I have to go shopping and dont even want to go out there. sigh

One good thing about it is the insulation it provides with these frigid temps.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

well no cold no snow and lots of sunshine is what Im talking about I am so ready and if I hear one person complain about the heat this summer I will smack them in the back of the head and send them to the great white north to visit with the polar bears lol last year was the worst since 1972 we had 14 feet of snow this winter we have less snow but more cold where is the global warming lol more like the next ice age

We've had snow off and on since Nov. too but this was nice and fresh and pretty this morning. It's also Isabella's first look at it, that made it nicer.

I remember with the girls I would take a picture for each season because until kids are like four or five it is new everytime since they dont remember last year so each season they would be so amazed, like seeing it for the first time again I would laugh and later show them the pics from the past year

About 6" of snow overnight totaling a foot in the last 2 days. DH had to call our plow person as he had a 9:30 dental appointment. Roads were fine. Very pretty on the trees, just beginning to drop off. this is the first year that we have had it plowed--guess you call stop shoveling the heavy snowfalls at 78.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I stopped at 40! Actually, my driveway is way to big to shovel. I have a plow too.

Just started snowing again.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh, we got so much pretty snow yesterday and last night. Woke up this morning and had to clean off my car. Was snowed in at my overnight shift and didn't have a shovel to dig myself out. Had to move the car back and forth to get it out of the parking space, as there was a lot of snow in back of it from the plow. Sure was pretty driving this morning. Here's a picture taken out my front door.

I bought a winged lion on sale last fall. The snow drifted around it & sits on its head, turning its smile into a grimace.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

It's 28 here now and snowing lightly. Very pretty, all the snow. Still looks nice today.

That winged lion sounds neat, Iris. Would love to see a picture of it, if you have one.

Today was the first day since Nov. that the sun felt warm on my face--of course I was outside because I was shoveling---dropped the car off for an oil change, forgot to get the garage door opener out of it, could NOT open the frozen garden gate, had to climb over the garden fence & drop into freezing snow & plow into the garage! Not happy! So I went & shoveled out part of the patio to get the garden gate open---& the sun was nice.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

hee hee ..... I am not laughing ........

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

South Hamilton, MA

Lion bought last fall & don't have a picture. It is seated & similiar to the picture in the garden art & gargoyle article of a few days ago.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

I so want two lions one on each side of my drive way by the gates that I do not have yet lol hahahhah some day I have a dream correction I have many dreams.
