Hig wind last night, I could see the branches waving today, but not hear the wind, so improving? Brutal cold is coming so DH filled the bird feeder.

17 here right now. Supposed to get down to 2 tonight in the early am hours. Yikes! And there's a 60% chance of snow after midnight. Today was very cold and windy. Didn't stay out for any long periods of time. Thank God I didn't have to.
Yikes! Willie, you do like it warm in your house. I like the thermostat at 66 and down to 62 at night. Even then I always throw off my third blanket, as my bedroom gets warmer than the rest of the house. My sister and niece are always turning the heat up to 69 or 70. Then I'm turning it back down when I get hot. LOL!

Me too---we are at 10---cloudy---only 1/2" of snow fell--too cold to snow! Has to warm up some, which it will on Sun.---22 & snow. My DH always says "When the days get longer, the cold gets stronger" He's right this year!

it was - 35 F today and I had to go out man that was brutal I put on insulated pants and leggins under with an undershirt, sweatshirt then a zip up sweater and an insulated winter coat and can you beleive I was still f...... cold to the bone after two minutes my van did not warm up for a half hour.

This is my indoor/outdoor temps., now you know why I was worried.
You're a lot colder up there, it was 7 when I got up this morning. My indoor temp was 55 overnight, now 58.
Temp here right now is -4 and that is plenty cold for me thank-you very much. Sun is just coming up now, wind is very light from the NNE.
Not sure if we'll get sunshine for a while. The snow belt's distinct edge is about a mile south, so we haven't been getting any of the snows everyone south is enduring.
