Donna, Great job!!!

۞ Sweet Interruptions ۞ 87
Good morning!
Phyllis, thank goodness no one was hurt! And thank goodness the girls had an experienced driver to take care of them.
Cathy, take care of yourself. We will be thinking of you.
How fun to see the 2009 gifts coming in. Sistah, (whoever you may be - tee hee), I'm doing my best to finish your 2009 gift. Be patient with me please. It won't be much longer!
GOOOD Morning Aunties and friends!!
HEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYY Bonnie!!!! So glad to see you!! We were all VERY WORRIED about you-you need to call or send one of us a letter to let us know you are alive so we don't get new ulcers that we name Bonnie!!
Such wonderful 2009 gifts!!! WOW!!
Cathy, what kind of surgery are you having? So sorry to hear your back is bothering you. I had my back surgery in 2000. It did not help 100%, but it is better. I just went for such a long time before any treatment would be allowed by workers comp, that I have some permanent nerve damage.
Good luck to you, and please keep us posted. Prayers going out for you. I will let you know as soon as the gift arrives.
LK
Morning all.
Oh Jaye YES he LOVED football, at the age of 3 he could throw a football to you. He has always been good at throwing. He will start playing football this year. He is bored with the wrestling, that was his aunt and uncles wants. Yea I took the loss real good now hubby didnt fair so well. After the game I was the blunt of all that is wrong. Oh well, I went to bed. Left him to stew!!!!!!
No trespassers, did make it to the auction and sold everything and didnt buy anything else. Going again Monday to sell off some more. My plan and doing good with it so far is to downsize to at least 50 chickens and 15 ducks until spring. And then go with the breeds I want. What I got from the auction covered the feed bill this week but didnt make a dent into the cost of the fuel. GRRRRRRRRR 78 bucks to fill up the diesel.
I am so thankful things were okay too and I have no idea how I did ti the girls say I screamed too but I have no idea I just did my job ...the only thing bothering me now is the fact when I called the shop super who is in charge of buses and I knew I needed another one to get them back I asked about calling the cops for a report and he said the director said no and they did not call the cops for a report..but I am wondering if it should still be done.
Phyllis, so glad to hear that no one got hurt! That could have been really nasty. And if it is more than a $500.00 cost, it has to be reported to the cops.
LK
Good morning BSF !!!
Well, it's going to be tougher than I thought to adjust to getting up early... I just can't seem to fall asleep before midnight... I go to bed, but my body just doesn't want to give up until the wee hours.
My finger hurts this morning... didn't hurt very much yesterday... but it's really in a bad place because it's a finger I use all the time, for every thing, and it's right on the tip... sheesh, it's just a cut... I get them all the time... but this one is just in a bad place.
Phyllis... I think that should have been reported to the police... even if it's not reported to the insurance company... a police report should have been filed. The potential hazard that could have caused would be soooo bad. I'm so glad no one was hurt... and I commend you for the way you handled it.
I'm also glad your home... sorry I didn't call you back the other day... things got a bit busy here.
SOOOO glad to see Cathy and Bonnie posting again... please take care ladies... we miss you.
Better get busy here... I'm going to get finished with all the projects I'm working on (I hope), because this is going to be a really busy week for me.
Good Sunday everyone!
Aren't we blessed with abundance talents here! Donna, I love the fish painting. Beautiful ornaments.. Tina, is this your first swap? If it is, you're supposed to show ALL that you got.. I noticed the oranges are missing :D
Trisha, guess with the housing market taking a plunge, there are more renters, and sorry you're affected by this bizarre economy. Hope it's not raised too much.. let's pray that Bill's salary will be increased. Have a great lunch today Trisha!
Phyllis, that styrofoam cup may be full of ice to cause your windshield to shatter like that. I would have been screaming too, but wouldn't have the mental presence not to panic. PTL for protecting you and the kids.
Cathy, you'll feel better after the back surgery. You'll be able to do 100 jumping jacks!!! Just kidding..but for now, we'll pray that your pains are manageable. If it gets too severe for you to post.. just key any letters. ((((HUGS))) Yep, hang everything to His cross...
Tina-Tia.. you're addicted to all kinds of feathered friends!! I don't know how you and Sis Kathy raised fowls.. There are so much to do in a day for the fowls, and I won't have time for crafts!!
Stacey, I was tempted to get some boxes at Michael's and increase my pin box collection!! I love your angel box you made for me and it's a sunny addition to my sewing paraphenelia. Thank you my talented niece.
Hi Debra!! Hi BJ!! Two busy bees but for different reasons!
If you don't post here at all BJ, we'll just hop over to your swap thread..
Hi LK!! First your back, then your feet? Gonna chant .. no more surgeries for all of us!! Let us stay healthy and happy and pain free..
Maid M.. rest today? Or will you be having a date? I'll allow you to have brisket for lunch today;)
Missed service again.. we'll have to find another church closer.. Rains are here for today and my sinuses are not co-operating!!
Phyllis, the Lord was riding copilot with you! They'll never find the person that threw the cup, but they should be horsewhipped!
BJ, if you have some of the tripple antibiotic cream, put some on your finger and cover with a bandaid for a few days. Also, be sure there's nothing IN the cut!
Y'all, you should see the DVD the guys on the Mixed Seed Nuts thread are putting together for my Lisa! It's so neat! Patsy Cline in the background, flower pix , puppies with a baby, cats with "cattitude"! She's gonna love it! BTW, she's feeling better! Goes to see the oral surgeon tomorrow!
Audrey, maybe you can make some copies, and send them around. I bet they are so n ice. Glad to hear she is doing better, and that another prayer is answered.
How are you doing? Your sugar levels, and I think you said your knee was acting up? Please take care.
Marion, I do hope you get your computer up and running. I know they can be a pain in the you know what, to get re-booted!
Bj, take care of that finger.
Love all the gifts the Sistah's are getting. Lots of love being sent!
LK
Audrey did Lisa receive the card?
Waiting on Brenda to decide where she's gonna hang Judy's gift.. so we'll see a pic!
Morning everyone!!!!!!!!!
Jaye sorry to hear you feel bad today.
Got this easy peasy exercise advice from Maid M..
EXERCISE FOR 40 AND OLDER
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 5 -lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks.
Then try 50-lb potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.
Morning Cody ^_^ Just got to drink lots of hot ginger tea today.
Just the breathing takes a beating..
Well i hope you feel better soon☺
Jaye, those sinus' can get bad, so please take care. You don't need it to turn into a chest cold or something worse?
Love the potato sack joke, that was cute. My kind of exercise for sure!!!
Since 2000, I have had back surgery, total right knee replacement, both of my feet fixed, bladder repair, injections in my hip, for arthritis... I think that is enough! I agree, no more surgeries!
LK
Thanks Cody.. so what will you be doing today? It's too wet for me to go out.. but I have plants in the nursery to tend to.
Good morning/afternoon sistah's
Been a somewhat crazy day so far here..
I wish I could say last niht went well but it ended up with Tristen crying.. All went well until the girls got tired and wanted to go to bed around 1030.. Well then the problems started.. Paige didnt have her stuffed elephant, then she wanted er brother to slep in bed with them (he ended up staying since him and Tony are the same age), then the music Tristen listens to was too loud, then by this time its 1130 and she is crying that she wanted to talk to her mom .. Well I called her mom and she cried she wanted to go home.. Needless to say she got up and came and got her and Tristen cried for alittle over an hour thinking Paige didnt like her anymore.. Micheal (Paiges Brother) stayed trough with Tony and will be headiing home in about a half hour.. The boys really have tried to be nice for Tristen but shes still upset..
Max has slept in this morning because he has to work again tonight so Ive been left in charge of dealing with the kids for the morning breakfast and lunch.. To top it all off Tristen is now running a fever.. Uggghhh
Tina Im so glad you liked what I sent you.. If by chance the crystal breaks it does have alifetime half price replacement on it as long as you keep a piece of it to send back to the company.. I was worried it was lost since I sent it out on Monday.. O th egreen bag I sent the oranges in is one of those that keeps veggies and fruit fresh in the fridge or counter.. I had grapes in the drawer of the fridge for over a month still fresh in one. They really work great..
Will try to catch up later.. Gotta get Tristen down for a nap with some tylenol and get the boys squared away..
Huggs and waving to all
Donna
rolling over laughing at the potato sack exercise, Jaye!
Ouch LK! You must have be able to write a guide book on what to do when you're in the hospital!!
I don't like ANY surgeries. So, being extra careful with myself like watch where I step on and taking my time when lifting anything. I've been having acute sinusitus for too long now. My next doc's visit, I'll definitely ask him for antibiotics.
Morning Sis Deborah!!! How are you feeling today? Any ideas on what you'll be doing for BJ's craft thingy?
Awww.. maybe that's why Tristen's extra sensitive last night Donna.
((((((Tristen)))))))) I hope you get better sweetheart..
Hey there Jaye. Feeling good. And yep got ideas rolling around. Did you join that one?
Yep.. being at Michael's yesterday just helped me change my mind again.. :( I want to make my buddy happy and I want it to be one of a kind!
Deborah.. have you ordered any seeds for spring? I must remember to sow parsley.
I was glad to see Bonnie posting. I've missed her. You out there this morning Bonnie?
Haven't ordered any seeds since before Thanksgiving. I've been in two swaps with the piggy swap still due to be received,. I've got lots of seeds in my box beside me ready to sort for winter sowing. I need to start cutting down my orange juice containers. That may be the project for this week since it's suppose to be cold here next week.
Definiately sow parsley and bronze fennel, Jaye. Black Swallowtails will be in swarming your yard if you do.
Well Jaye i get my baby back today for three days,so i'm happy. But he will have to go back to his dads Wednesday for a few more days. Then i will get him back for awhile. So i want be on much so i can spend time with my angel. So i will talk to y'll in a few days.Everyone try to stay warm because here it is COLD COLD COLD brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

My Brugs that I cut back are growing again from the ground. Green leaves are shooting up.
Enjoy every minute with your baby Cody. Good bye for now.

Well, Deborah... if Jaye's sorry, I'm not. I do have most of what's on your list, I think... now, if all of them survive the winter (and my attention), I'll be vewy vewy happy. I'm SOOOO ready for spring here...
I forgot to say, I love all the gifts I've seen posted... too cool to get things for 2009 to remind us of each other throughout the year. Great idea you had there Jaye.
Well, I just heard from our AFS coordinator... looks like Michael will take another plane from Houston to Tyler and won't arrive until after 7pm on Friday night. He'll feel like a whooped puppy by the time he gets there. So, the coordinator said if he's too tired for her to do the orientation with him that night, he'll spend the night at her house and she'll do it the next morning... we can pick him up on Sat around noon. Of course, Don's off on Friday, and not on Saturday... so I'll be picking him up by myself.
Now, I'm off to sweep and mop his room... *poof*
I'm off too.. will not do a new room, till most of my sistahs have seen Deborah's list. We'll be bragging who has the most butterflies this year!!
New Fat Quarter Swap is now open.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/942150/
I am not a happy camper.......I have had two windows open carefully posting to all of you this morning, opened a new window and saved the butterfly lists .......and........poof....the Gremlins Ate My Posts!!!!!!.....Don't have time to redo it all now, have company showing up this afternoon and I need to get straightened up before Laura and I have to go take care of Orion.
Soooooooo....(((((((Hugs and Waves)))))))))))))))) to all, talk to you later!
