Jaye, are you kiddin'? I don't do much cleaning of ANY kind!
Talked to Lisa today. Her other niece is having a 4 bedroom trailer moved onto Lisa's brother's land, and they want Lisa to move in with them. Lisa's worried about telling Lynn, (her sister). She cried while taling to me about it. She said Lynn said she didn't want to see her in the hospital was the reason she didn't go to see her, but she didn't even bother to walk to her room to see how she was when she got home. Lisa spent $70.00 0n cleaning supplies and food and Nothing has been cleaned, even dishes. Lunn bought food to be cooked, Lisa's not able to cook, and nobody else has cooked, either! Makes me so mad I'd like to stomp Lynn and her kids!!! I think Lisa's going to move in with Cassie, too! Serves Lynn right!
OK, I need some cheese with MY whine!!

Staceypoo, that castiron mirror is so unique. That's a wise investment for not much money at that and will be a major vocal point in your bathroom.

Just stopping in for a minute, have chicken on the grill, but wanted to show everybody what I got today and to thank Phyllis for the wonderful gifts. First here's a picture of all together.

Here's better pics. There's hard tack candy, 2 jar candles, tea lights, a cookbook, magnets, and a seahell trinket box that opens.

And in this pic, re-usable ice fruit, a carved boat that hold coasters out of wood, 3 beautifully embroidered T towels, ( I just love that birdhouse one with my name isn't it gorgeous). This is just such wonderful gifts.

I really needed this lift today. BTW Phyllis DH wants me to get the recipe for the candy, I made the mistake of letting him try one. Dummy me.

Stacey you really found a great deal on both your sink and your mirror. I wanted an oval mirror but Max insited ona qare one.. Looks good up and it fits nicely but I really wanted a brushed nickle oval mirror.. grrrr Thats okay I got everything else including the tiles and fixutres I wanted..

Between sneezing and bursitis in my shoulder I haven't done anything today but nap and watch news reports...........and I am tired of both.

Trisha mine and Jaye time is only a hour different.She is a hour ahead of me.Sorry that you still feel bad.Hope you feel better soon.

I'm doing much better.....we just had to push my car yesterday in the rain....aggravated my shoulder...if I stay off the bike a few days, and quit pushing cars I should be fine.

Good Lord Robin... what Phyllis did for you is enough to send most of us reeling with 'envy'. Good form of envy though. Love the embroidered tea-towels. Those were done on your new machine Phyllis? You must have burned some midnight oil to get them out fast!!! Now that cookbook will be a good addition to my collection. Hint, hint!

I was pricing flights to Grand Rapids, for Next week-end, and they are asking $400.00 - $500.00 for the flight, so if you can get one for $326, you better grab it. I have to go and get my Dad, to bring back here for awile.
Trisha, get a good nights sleep, and that should help the shoulder. Nice hot shower would help also!

Jay wow wow and double wow... I have never seen anything lik ethat before.. Funny as much as I love art I have only been to two art museums.. Although an older gentleman and his wife are friends of my mothers from the barbershop inspired me quite a bit last year.. He wanted to get new furniture and told my mom we could have their old furniture that had a few cat scatches on it but we figured even if they were bad we could cover it and it was better than what we had. Needless to say the house was beautiful the couch was Itaian leather and older but beautiful.. He showed us around and pointed out a few paintings whena asmaller one caught my eye.. A real authentic Picaso... I almost fell over.. He even got t off the wall and showed it to me.. .. Scared me to death...LOL

Trisha do take care of your shoulder.. No more pushin cars around for you okay..

Picasso......Oh my...................

Jaye-I will be leaving it as is-it is an antique-or at least is being sold as one-it has a small defect in the upper left corner-a darkened strp that you get in antique mirrors sometimes. I sent them a ?? to ask the size of the mirror itself, as I want people to at least be able to see their face in it, and don't want it to be a teeny littloe thing...

OMG Donna-I would have fell over!! A real Picasso!!!

Picaso Yup yup I did almost fall over.. My mom said he has tried to get her to hold it too but she refused..LOL I could not resist the opportunity.. Of course it was well protected and I would never hurt it but wow was an honor.. His house was beautiful .. Wood floors with I think he said 17 coats of sealer on the floor, 10k pool table, art work everywhere, ooo how I long to go back and visit... very sweet couple and he has the biggest crush on my mom - even had a painting done in a fantasy look alike of her... GRIN :) ... Too funny mom says hes sweet but a perve and his ife just laughs..

Okay Congrats to the gators even though Im a gator hater.. Didnt even know they won until this morning.. Was it a good game at least?

Got DD registered yesterday for dishes and towels. Will have to go back and add kitchenware and linens as they are doing inventory and the shelves are almost bare now. We also ordered her invitations and printed napkins for the reception. On the agenda today? All day at the spa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH gave me a spa certificate after I spent 5 weeks at the hospital with his mother last spring. Never used it. Decided after the hectic holidays was a great time to finally use it. Will be there from 12 noon to 5pm enjoying a salt scrub, vichy shower, 1 1/2 hour massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
