Debra, I know you can do it, and it will be easy to do, if you really want to do this, plus you have us to lean on.
Good night everyone. Talk to you all in the morning.

Kathy and Audrey ((((((((((((((((((Hugs and Prayers)))))))))))))))))))))))))
BJ Congratulations, sounds like you have a lot of fun ahead..............
Deborah you can do it, Chantix is good, that is how my sister quit she said it worked great for her.....as Jaye and all have said we are all here anytime you need us.
Sorry I have just skimmed through and missed a lot today....took Laura to her appointment, sat sewing and listening to the radio in the car....battery went dead....pouring rain.....finally got a jump. Time for a new battery. We went by Target, Laura had a gift certificate from her grandmother. All the Christmas stuff was 90% off......got a ton of stuff for Victorian Santa's, came to seven dollars!!
JoAnn's had some good fabric remnants really cheap, and I got a cutting mat and 2 rotary cutters for 40% off!!! With that, the swap project and some leatherwork to be done we can stay housebound for a long time now........
Our weather is very bad.....most of this side of the state is under a state of emergency with all of the floods and mudslides......they have just shut down a 20 mile stretch of the major freeway through the state....and in several places whole towns are being evacuated.......a lot of these people haven't recovered from the 2007 yet ! We have a lot of DG friends up north of here that are in some of the badly affected areas.......please pray that they stay safe!
I am also helping Laura look for a new house.....we are hoping they can move in next door to us (depends on whether the No Pets policy will exempt Companion Animals, she has a letter from her Doctor). They have to find a new place by March unless something could be worked out for them to buy the place they are now renting. Please keep her in your prayers also. Wow, if she could get the duplex next door we would have four generations of the family in these three units !!! How cool would that be?
Most of you will have turned in by now, wishing you all a good night.....and from the weather reports, hopefully a better day tomorrow.....
Taking a break from Top Chef.
Trisha, I'm feeling your anguish over vehicular problems. Like my mum used to say, if it's not that... it could be something worse. Thank God, it's just the battery.
Yah, I had taken advantage of the sales at Joann's too on rotary cutters and the blades. But at 90% off!! Target might as well give away their Christmas stuffs.. really shows how bad our economy is..
Trisha, we won't quit praying for Laura too till we know she's assured of some kind of housing.
Begging you to be super careful on the roads.. first you're encumbered by snow, and now mudslides? Sistah.. when I don't see you posting tomorrow.. expect a phone call from me.
Well, good night to all.. be warm everyone.
Jaye, We are pretty safe where we are....it is out in the county and the areas near the rivers that are really in need of our prayers.......as I always say, if we have problems with flooding where Laura and I live we have worse issues, if WE flood you better be looking for the Ark cause we are on high ground here!!!!!
Have a good night!
Evenin girls
Well the storage room is all clean and looks great too I feel good that is done except for the shredding which is no big deal I can do that next week.
As for the soccer team trip yes it will driving over to the hotel checking in and then the game at 2 which I guess they take 2-3 hours so will sit and relax then ....LOL...then go back to the hotel after eating someplace for the night get up and be at the next game before 8am ...umm eat lunch and game at 6 I think it is so not sure just what will be going on
but I have to tell ya the secretary and two other gals upstairs at work have their noses all bent out of shape since I am doing the trip ...hehehehe...so childish ...got a lil ticked earlier but talked wtih my office rommie and 2 others so feel better now but still so childish and unprofessional.
so I will check in when I can
Jaye it was great talking to you on the phone.Check your e-mail please when you get time. You to still have your southern accent so don't let it go.Jaye i would love to chat with you anyday.Good Night ((((((Loves & Hugssssss))))))

Phyllis sounds like a fun trip.........amazing how childish some supposed Adults can be sometimes isn't it?
Hi Cody, Jaye is a wonderful lady isn't she?!?
Okay I have lost yet another post. Whatever is going on here. Well I do believe the trouble is in my CPU unit and it is going in for a "dusting and a cleaning" tomorrow. Good enough for us girls then it should work for my CPU. If not then I just might be forced to get a new computer---urrrgh! Do not want to do that just now.
Invitations are all in the mail and have managed to get a message to all my chairman to have updated reports for the meeting next week. They have another week to finish you some of the areas they are working on.
BJ, I am so pleased all went well with the interview. There was never any doubt in my mind it would go fine. You and Don will be super host and he is one lucky boy to be living with the 2 of you. Just hope he can't tolerate his adopted Aunties come May.
BTW, my daughter is deathly afraid of frogs!!! Yeap native Florida girl and can't stand forgs--imagine my shock when she signed up to go to Costa Rica when I went. Not only that but went on the walking tour of the Monteverde Rainforest. Guess it you want something bad enough you can overlook some things.
Debra, what a day. Just remember to stay relaxed and everything will be fine. Good idea to keep a glass of wine near by. LOL
Waving to Linda Kay, Audrey, hope the feet are doing okay.
Donna, you really should work at your drawings more. What a talent you have. Lucky lady.
Deborah, one day at a time but I have no doubts you will accomplish this feat. Judy too. I am proud of both of you for undertaking this. Did you get any of those storms last night?
Kathy, sending hugs and prayers Sistah. Love you!!
Heather, more biscuits please. They sure were yummy. Who is doing the coffee in the morning. Make a big pot please.
Janice, you can "tear" yourself away from the computer to join us. Did I send enough "reading " materials for you to search through? LOL Just remember if you buy it isn't my fault.
Tink, post pictures of the remodeling please. We would love to see the progress as it occurs.
Jaye, had dinner out tonight. Baked eggplant florentine. Was a very good girl and bypassed the absolutely delicious bread this restaruant serves to have my spaghetti. Kim and I are doing this together so it is much easier.
Ladies I am tired and need to get moving early as the repair shop is across town. Want to get this monster in and hopefully will get it back tomorrow.
Sweet dreams. Trisha and Laura, sending prayers for the state of Washington. Be safe, dry and warm.
Hey Trisha yes she is a very sweet person with a heart of gold.
Good night everyone. See you in the morning.
LK
Good night Linda Kay.
Night LK, I hope your brother is in a safe area up north......we are sure getting the weather....
Phyllis, you talking about shredding...reminded me of Dutchess when she was about three used to love to do the shredding for me only she called it shreking! :) We still call it shreking!
I cant commit to the coffee........if the kids get a snow day I plan on sleeping in. I will put the biscuits on the pan and stick them in the fridge though! ;)
Good night everyone sweet dreams..............
Jaye check your email again. That is what i look like now. Thanks Sweetie
I'm off to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ok girls the coffee pot is set for 6 am and there is extra coffee in case ya need to make more.
someone can set it up the rest of the week and feel free eto use any of the coffees in the cabinet ...hehehehe
be good and have fun
I started the coffee and have some fresh fruit waiting for all you sleepy heads to get up:)
You all should have seen me wiggling in my chair with excitement as I clicked on each of Donna's drawings!!! I felt like a kid in a candy store!! Now all I need is a pair of sawhorses and some wood!!
I did find a brand new pedestal sink on Craigs list for $50!! A man moved into a newer house ans decided he didn't like the pedestal-too feminine, so he is selling it for $50-he lives 75 miles from me, but will be about 15 miles from me either tomorrow or Monday and he will being it with him-isn't that great!! Now to talk DH into it. I also found a neat antique mirror on Ebay-actually a couple of them-need to shwo DH to see what he likes-one is cast iron and would match the light fixture...
Few of my last swaps still sit in my enclosed back deck despite the bitter cold and snow...
my Rock City bird house and my lovely fairy...
If it weren't freezing this a.m. I might just have my coffee out there..lol
Edited to say:
Yep that's snow in the background behind birdhouse...

I know just what you are going thru. I had all my toe nails removed about 10 years ago(best thing I had ever done). Since they were going to do them all at once, it was done on as an out patient surgery. I looked like Daffy Duck waddeling out of there. LOL My feet were bandaged to keep any dirt or germs from the toes, and the toes were really gauzed and bandaged.
I had to have them all removed, because I had broken my toes so many times all the nails were growing in side ways, and would be come ingrown and infected. Some of them had started to curl inward. I put up with infected nails for years. My podiatrist said I should have had them all removed years before I did.
About 6 weeks after the operation, my DD and I went on a cruise to the eastern Caribbean. They weren't healed yet(takes longer to heal when you have them all done), but I went snorkeling and scuba diving anyway. And it was great. The salty ocean water made them feel soooo much better and they healed alot faster.
When I went back in to my podiatrist couldn't believe how good they looked.
I have not a problem with my toes ever since. The first few weeks will hurt, but then you will be amazed how much better they feel. I even paint my toe nails sometimes in the summer. No one notices I don't have toe nails unless I mention it.
Its just the 1st few weeks, everything kept jumping out in front of me and of course I would stub my toes. All better now. Like I said, best thing I ever did was to have them all removed.
So, chin up sistah. The worst part is over.
Cathy

my gay SIL just called me to apologize. he isn't gay, just used that as an excuse. admitted to me he drinks too much and is going to meetings and working on his problem. he wants to work things out with my daughter and asked permission to come here with her when she gets out of rehab.
Well, what did you say??
i told him to be patient, that rome wasn't built in a day. i was proud of him for being man enough to call and talk to me, and yes he could come with her if that is what SHE wants.
I was wondering-you can be stubborn, but I do love that about you:) Did you get my dmail??
no d-mail today
I replied to the Ya there one last night....
got it!
Whew that coffee smells yummy and the biscuits too!
I will stop praying we dont have a 'called' snow day when the kids want one. This is the second time in which almost every county in the state but ours didnt call it...and the roads are awful. Last time our schools went anyway the bus trip home ended up 2 hours long with little kids stuck on the bus due to accidents. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I should have prayed with the kids FOR a snow day.
We got up late too but couldnt rush on the roads.
How are yalls mornings going?
Morning Ladies
Betty you reall ygot some very pretty goodies there..
Kathy sounds to me like he is realizing what he lost.. I agree though its got to be up to her and I dont think in your shoes I could have said what you did.. My one major fault is that I dont let go of things and can hold a grudge like no one else I know.. especially when it comes to my family or friends being hurt..
Stacey you are too funny. I could just see you wiggling in your chair..lol I worked on Tweety last night but am not very happy with it so I may re-do it today.. Then I think I have 3 more printed so thats it until I get some more ink.. I work on our floor in the living room since its hardwood and I cant see my pc from there (im bad I have to have the pic right in front of me)... Glad you want garfield and odie big though because garfield is my Favorite Character of all times! I even thought about doing an extra one for myself and having a local friend cut it out for me.. I thought I could use lights where they are strung on odie and it would be really cute since we have zero outside christmas decor other than lights.. .. I have saw horses but nothing that would make those cuts..
Also congrats on your find on craigslist of your sink.. Check Lowes next time you are in there.. we got a small one and I think it was only 29 for the base ad 29 for the bowl... Its not a big sink but perfect for our little bathroom.. I included a picture of what our bathroom started out looking like.. I know its been a long process but we had to gut it all the way to te floor joist and put new walls, studs, electric.. Th ewhole nine yards and now we are getting down to the fun stuff finishing and getting ready for tile in between Maxs work schedule.. This house had to have seen the Money Pit movie...lol Did you notice the little sliver of wallpaper under the baord on the walls? Horrible..
donna, believe me i bit my tongue almost off while i talked to him. i promised missy i wouldn't be ugly to him. i will never forget what he has done.
I understand that Kathy.. I have a few people who I avoid like the plage (sp?) just because I know if I see them the things in my mind will fly right out of my mouth.. One in paticular lives right down the road and she and I havent seen eachother in a year since we last spoke.. Well we have seen eachother but normally she runs...lol Our last conversation was over the phone and I told her she better never ever come near me or my family again.. Dared her to come on my property that day ...
Morning everyone.
Stacey Thanks for the coffee, and fruit, and thanks to Heather for the biscuits. I put them in the oven if anyone wants one they are on the counter with your choice of honey, or jelly! When you get the chance, take a cooked biscuit, open it up, and put cheddar cheese on it, then place it back in the hot oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese. Mmmm so good with a cup of coffee.
Stacey, I hope you get your sink that you want. it sounds really nice.
Betty those pressie from Bj are so nice. Looks like they all match so perfectly! And the handmade jar form her! Bj, did you make the plant birds also? Sounds like you made Betty a happy camper yesterday?
Kathy, don't let him push his way back into her life, if she is not ready. just take it one day at a time, and get her feeling better first.
Marion, you get your computer fixed yet?
Off for a shower, to get moving, I have therapy again today, and tomorrow, I will be gone to San Antonio for my foot Dr. Hopefully I can get back into my own shoes, and then I get to go fabric shopping! Yippee!. So I will be lurking in and out today, gone tomorrow, and back late Friday, or Saturday.
Later
LK
