The Makers Mark really does help when I have a bad cough. I take a little whiskey and put sugar in it and use it like a cough medicine.. Now I don't use this that often just when I need it . Shoot I could not afford to drink this that often as it is high class price for my low price pocket book...LOL I am feeling pretty good today, not great but ok... I will not be posting for the next couple days as my Son's wife Danielle her Grandmother passed away last night. She raised Dan and she took care of her while she has been ill so she is not taking this good...

We joined Netflix and I can't believe how fast they sent the dvds. The main attraction is the vast amount of foreign films they have. Even got some Singapore movies.. be able to see scenes from my birth country.

If you're serious, you know the basics of gumbo, the 'trinity' veges. I'll add garlic too and instead of water, use chicken stock. Add some fresh sausage or Hillshire smoked sausage.

Yep, Kim sent the cup and a trivit to match! The round glass balls have lights that flicker when you turn them on!
I'm not trying to get anyone to buy that machine... I just think it's funny that someone would ever need to see their work in HD on the machine's screen... that just seems like a weird thing to me.

So, Jaye.. you just took my place with Netflix... I just canceled my membership because I just didn't watch so many movies anymore... Don's not a movie kinda guy... so, we really didn't use it like we should have.
I also canceled my membership to an Embroidery Site where I could download all the designs I wanted, any time I wanted. Problem was, almost all their designs were for babies and small children. Rarely did they come out with a new more mature design... and when they did, it was so similar to another one I already had, I didn't want it. As often as I downloaded from there, I could buy the designs I want at another site when I want them for the price of the membership. Just didn't make sense to keep it.

Everyone is so busy today. I have my tree down, most all decorations packed, labeled and ready to be put away. Furniture rearranged in family room so I think I am making progress at last.
