Now a day closer and it can't get here fast enough for me. I want color and sunshine and warm! Hope the new year ends up better than the way it is starting in almost all respects. I wish for moderate rain, weeds and heat for all with healthy plants and beautiful bountiful blooms, and no bugs!

Litchfield, ME(Zone 5a)

Me Too all of that sunshine , roses, Color, warm rain. Ill even welcome the bugs if they would come today.

Cool!

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

I remember that I made that last year when I had a cold. Didn't feel like doing much, so I just downloaded a ton of pics for it!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I like that, really puts ya in the mood with all those pics and shows the steady progress as time marches on. Kinda rewarding making all those slashes as the days tick by isn't it.

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

You betcha!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh, I love it Primrose!

Litchfield, ME(Zone 5a)

I love that!! I have smiled all day thinking about what you said. Its only 78days until spring ....I have so much to do to be ready for it. THe days will be gone before we know it.:)
Thank You

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

only 75! OH SO VERY HAPPY!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have a countdown timer on my iGoogle page with the exact number of days, hours and minutes left!

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Kass, what a nice idea for a thread! Leave it to you to think positive :)

Sue, very cool chart.

And now it's 74

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

A little closer every day. This is fun to countdown together.

Litchfield, ME(Zone 5a)

Feel the love!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm already noticing the increasing light. A couple of weeks ago there was no light at all at 5. Now there still is.

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

I started a blog yesterday - first ever! (Of course I put a link to DG on it!) When I get comfortable with it, I'll put a link on my Member Page here. Anyway, I said all that to say this: I found a site with Spring countdown banners on it, and put one at the top of my blog. Here it is if anyone's interested - http://siggiez.com/countdownz/spring/index2.cgi.

(Zone 4a)

I can't wait!!!!

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Dawn, you can't wait for what? Spring or my blog? LOL!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The link did not work, Sue. You can do it on your personal Google page. Lots of cool 'gadgets' to personalize it. Some real cool and useful stuff.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Forgot to say - congrats on the blog, Sue!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

I think is better when we count together!!!! maybe it will make it come faster...

yesterday I got an itch to buy roses but I behaved myself... I have to wait and see which roses will make it this year... ah... so much to wait for... and all the lillies... and of course I have plenty of irises to plant this spring... not that will bloom this year, but I did not plant them in august...

and of course I want to get heucheras... I got a bluestone perennials catalogue and it's impossible not to want them... such interesting plants... and astilbes... I am in love with astilbes also... lol lol lol... ah what's next???

Sue, I did a blog... need to updated it... but no time ....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - it's dangerous to show you any flower, Kass!

Here's my countdown timer.

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

I like yours Victor - real impressive!

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

Like the look of the countdown timer Victor. I have to get me one of those things for my blog.

Under the strawflower mulch below are 38 regular and 40 multiflowering hyacinth with crocus, chionodoxa, Tenby daffodils and little narcissus bulbocodium scattered around them. I look out in wonder that in two months the first flowers will appear (March 3rd last year)

Thanks. You can get it at Google or find ones to embed on blogs, websites, etc.

Nice to see you David - Happy New Year!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Just think in just , what is it 72 days now, there will be beautiful green things and colorful bulbs starting to show up here and there. Trying to stay positive that it is going to happen soon. :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

72 day, 19 hrs, to be exact!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Well at least we turn the clocks early again so it will seem more like spring sooner. The second Monday in March I think. That's a little closer. :)

Tomorrow 71 days

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - the earlier switch is great - second Sunday of March.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

The sun actually feels warm today, even though the temp here is just about freezing.

Litchfield, ME(Zone 5a)

It was warmer here.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very raw here today. Storm arriving tonight. I'm tired of winter already!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

I hear you Victor!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I think there is a consensus that we all need spring early this year. I hope feb. is better than it usually turns out to be.

Litchfield, ME(Zone 5a)

Now Its cold an more snow coming. Please count faster.
