My mom got me the Nene Thomas ornament I have been coveting-the one with the little dragon for Xmas-I was squealing like a pig!!

Thumbnail by Fairy1004
(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

And here are all my bubble fairies and fairy ornaments together-I think I need a dresser or something to display them all on-no room for a shelf on the walls

Thumbnail by Fairy1004
Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

get both.
your fairys are so pretty

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Staceypoo you could always hang fishing line from the ceiling at various lengths. A corner ceiling in a room would be pretty. But I do like the stands you have for them.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

An MIL was a tricky one....I knew I was getting the paint organizer from coleections since I was going to buy it and she told me NO-DON'T BUY THAT!! So I got that from her and of course it is already filled and have paint bottles that won't fit;) Uh oh, means I need another on!!LOL But....she also got me a frog birdfeeder and a snowman. There is a story behind the snowman.....We went to the local garden place a few weeks ago here called Jacob's Garden and I saw this little snowman-so cute-kinda looks like he is carved and roughly painted and I walked around the store carrying him, then decided with Xmas right around the corner I couldn't get him for myself-too much $$.....so I asked for him for Xmas and was told that he wasn't there, but I could go look the day after and if I found him to pick him up-if he was there, he was obviously meant to be mine. Went with my mom and nope he was no where, so I got the name of the company and fully intended to write them and see if they had another one-I was soooooo bummed...the next day my mom & I met MIL for lunch on our way to pick up my Aunt, Uncle and cousins and when I opened my Xmas box guess I was jumping up and down for the little snowman WAS meant to be mine!!! MIL had apparently stopped by there on her way home that weekend and snatched him up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I was in 7th heaven!!!!! Isn't he just ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Deb I like that idea-the only problem would be how low I would have to hang it so you could see them because they aren't too big....

You think Kathy-I think they are very cute and no one else on the block would have anything like it....

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Stacey, may you always be a child! LOL!
Good news about my Lisa! She's home, but feeling rough. Her ears are both running fluids. She called me yesterday. Noone had washed dishes while she was away. She said something about noone feeling like cleaning up and they said "nope"! I told her not to touch anything, this has to change. She said it was fixing to! She couldn't tell my anything, but her sister is gonna wish she'd made her unemployed 20 yr. old daughter do something besides running down the cordless phone battery every day! After all, Lisa pays the rent, and she can't even afford to buy underwear and socks! I asked Lisa if she wanted me to come take care of her, but she said, "No! You'll get ugly!" I said, "You're **** right I will!" She told me Happy New Year! Vanderbilt paid for her oxygen for a month. She goes to their oral surgeon in about 2 weeks, so everything should be OK, if they can safely put her to sleep to extract the tooth!

Happy New Year to everyone of my Sistahs, and thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers! I love you all!
Audrey

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Kim, I just noticed your pot of BEP's. You use a bayleaf, wow, I just learnt me somethin'. I'll but some in mine too. They're through soaking and I'm getting ready to add the smoked ham pieces and now three bayleafs. Your's look scrumptious!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

deb, my BEP are done. i just had a bowl, so good they make you want to grab your granny from the grave and smack her

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Glad your Lisa is on the road to recovery, Audrey.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

That's some fine eatin' Kathy!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

you shoud be here. i will hold dinner fer ya

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Wish I could, I'd be there in a heartbeat. You are a wonderful cook. Can't believe you're a yorker. If I didn't know better I'd think you were from my neck of the woods.

Wish you could come back here too. I'd take you for a ride on my club car around the yard and up and down the neighborhood.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I wanted to ride Judy around but Jacob and Brenie were having too good of a time on it.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

deb, we would have such fun!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Sorry-no BEP for me-I don't really care for them, or at least I should say I have never had them cooked a way that I care for.....I am eating leftovers which has been what I have been eating for several days now!!LOL

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Kathy, glad it is good new on your tests!!
Audrey so happy Lisa is home and doing better!
Stacey, so much neat stuff, love the ribbon holder.

A Happy New Year to all, I have to finish getting ready for a bunch of crazy bicycle riders and go pick up a bottle of Dayquil before they get here. TTYL!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Whoo Hoo, Kim! Look at you all 'gussied up' as others have called it. I have trouble imagining such a cute, petite little thing dressed in overhauls and working construction. You go, girl!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Happy New Year my sistahs!!
Joyce, I think Robin says Cabbage Rolls.. :D
Such good news Sis Kathy! Amen!! Now you can plan and play all you want.
Audrey, perhaps Lisa need to move out once she's fully recovered. Stress can aggravate her problems too.
Kim, give me a bowl of that greens and BEPs. I love BEPs in Hoppin' John' too. But I'll have cabbage today, just pass the gas!! My duck is still not fully thawed out. Being that I have to double cook the duck to get rid of excess fat, it will be dinner when it's ready. So for lunch it will be microwaved tequitas (sp).
Stacey, I picked up some snow men ornaments too, for next Christmas. I'm not into decorations, but Kel said he won't mind a snowmen village. They were all 75% off.. cute like yours too.
Kim, you are so pretty in that dress.
Hmm.. New Year's gardening? Will be to pack in plants in the beds like Kim says.. and DON'T PUSH THE ZONE!!!!!
Gonna go to those swaps...

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I knew I forgot to address some sistahs!!! Need new memory cells!
Debra, any family having roots to LSU will be a good family to belong to ;)
Miles finally got rid of the bumbling qb, and this time Jordan Jefferson help beats Ga Tech 38 to 3!! He is a TRUE freshman from La. So we'll see more of him! Miles should have him from the very beginning, we won't be groaning..
Sis, watch out next year :D

Trisha, you may have to get a whole case if your weather remains severe!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Ok, Jaye, you're on!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Wrong answer Sis Debra.. it should be "Yeah Jaye, we're on to the BCS championship!"

Coushatta, LA

Hello everyone hope you are starting off to a new year.
