Maid M.. I just remembered how your little keychain flash light that Kel robbed from me, helped saved the day at the insurance office yesterday, and today, at the restaurant.
The lights in town went out due to an accident.. Kel was just walking in having to pay on insurance, and the agents were groping trying to find the numbers to their safe. Pitch dark mind you, until Kel clicked on the flash light...
Then at the German restaurant, one man was trying to follow a map on the wall in dim light. Squinting and nose close to the map, he was adamant in showing where that certain town was to his son...
Kel relieved his misery and flashed the light....

Again Sistahs, please continue to pray for those that need.. thank you.

Jaye, not sure what 'bunniest' cheeks are, but yours are definitely the most huggable! Your smile is so warm and genuine - a reflection of your heart.

Stacey, never noticed what pretty eyebrows you have. Your santa hat really shows them off. I'm always jealous of women with real eyebrows. Mine are so thin and blonde I have to use eyebrow pencil to make them show up. No eyebrows, no eyelashes - is that a bald face? LOL!

21 of us did a job on the 15 pounds of brisket. I don't think anyone went away hungry!!

Morning everyone!

Slept well last night and just got motivated.. I love seeing pictures now at least I can put a face with the names here..

Was a very busy day yesterday even gave the dog a bath and have a ton of work to get to today. Have to mow the yard, finish laundry, working on the bathroom remodel, and well just run all over....lol Never enough time to get anything done.. The kids had awonderful day yesterday and spent the afternoon outside playing.. Just didnt feellike Christmas out there it was 79 yesterday and whew thats not december weather. Too top it all off my step mother in Ohio Turned the ringer off on the phone (or unplugged it since the answer machine didnt pick up) so none of us got to speak to my dad and the kids really wanted to talk to papaw.. Max is fighting another tooth ache but with his check being short he will have to wait until next week to head to the dentist. We both really need to get a few pulled but alas we just need to wit unti lthe timing is right..

Will work on a slideshow of pictures to post hopefully tonight..

Wow slept in until 6:15, lol. I had a great day with family. Rick caught me in the kitchen. I finally figured out how to make my chocolate fountain work, you can see it on the left. Dipped apples, bananas, monkey bread.

Mornin all. My hubby is not a family person, he stayed home while we were all up at mom's yesterday. Boy was I scared when the girls came down here to get some tea bags and they came back telling me that my hubby was moving the chickens out side. Well I get home to the house SPOTLESS and he gave me the barn for my chickens. OMG was I totally surprised. The best ever Christmas pressie he could have given me, I got a barn and a very very clean house. As soon as my youngest daughter gets her junk out of there it will be totally converted into a chicken coop.

My grandson being a goof ball, lol.

LOL Debra-do you know how much plucking I do every day!!LOL I am german and native american, so we are a hairy bunch-if I let them they would grow clear up into my hair line!! I would have liked to look a smidge more human in the pic, but I thought I was really late as we were supposed to post on Xmas eve, so I finished the hat, threw it on, stuck a cone thing in to make it stand up and made DH take the pic!!LOL

Tante Jaye-I think that you have the bunniest cheeks, but I have the chipmunk cheeks packed with nute award all tied up!!LOL

I hope everyone had a good Xmas and that Santa was good to you all-I think santa got a little confuddled when he came here-like I wanted the new Alvin & the Chipmunks movie-I got Alvin & the chipmunks Xmas movie from the early 90's!!LOL I know he meant well, so it isn't a big thing, just funny after like the 3rd gift that was a little mixed up!!LOL

OK-good-glad you liked it-I had a hard time personalizing everyones....I just got off the phone w/ Auntie M-what a sweet voice!!!

I already got an email back from the company that sent me the wrong saw-they are reshipping the correct one to me today:) Not sure if I told you about that-my mom had gotten me a scrolling jigsaw-5 amp-for Xmas-the one I got was a cheaper little 3.5 non scrolling one, so I emailed the company right away yesterday....didn't expect such a fast response!! WOOHOO!!!! Now I can spend my gift cert from my Bday to get some patterns!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!! And I got a detail sander from DH and a 35000 RPM dremel:) It was a toolfiric Xmas here:)

YIPPIE, Stacey... sounds like you're ready to build something really wonderful now !!!!!

Welp... ok... here we go... a Christmas Parade of a different kind... LOL

Here's what I got from Fairy Fingers... a lovely natural bird house made with real fir tree branches... a box she painted and embellished all by herself... and some cute little candle holders with sailboats and lighthouses.

AND from Cindy, I got one of her wonderful Christmas Candles.

And from Joyce, I got this really nice candle saucer... she said it just SCREAMED BJ to her... LOL

And here's what I got from my family. Don got me the commercial sewing machine... not that I really wanted one, but I guess somebody has to reupholster those boat seats, and Don figured it may as well be me...

This is an indication of a Christmas for someone who has everything ...
LOL... Don said that we've become our parents... you know, in the respect that it's hard to buy something for someone who has so much... I'm truly grateful.
