Terri, we are to emblish our hats then post pix of us with them on. I think it will be Christmas Eve we are suppose to post, but alot of us are going to be busy so I would just post pix asap, what do ya think?

This will be a first come fisrt serve thing...I cut my NOID back and can share some cuttings with any of you that would like some. I'm not sure how many cuttings I have so..........

I think I'm going to serve a spiral cut ham, candied yams, string bean bundles, homemade yeast rolls, fruit salad. Then, I think I'll bake a fruit pie for desert... probably cherry.
I know, it's not the traditional Christmas dinner, but everyone loves those dishes... so I shouldn't have leftovers for weeks after.

Marion the weather here is making me crazy too.. I re-checked and they have changed our high for the day to 51 from last night.. Ugghhh then warm on Christmas and thats not even right.. I want cooler weather on that day..

Terri yes make your hat and et ready to post pictures.. I got a santa hat I still need to decorate for my picture..

Sounds like you are doing hwta we are here at home for Christmas. Im making Turkey, Mashed potatoes, green beans, mac n cheese casserole, gingrbread cokies, chocolate chip cookies, a apple pie

Christmas eve we go to my sisters make cookies, gather and make luminaries for her whole street , eat dinner (lasagna this year I think) and then we open presents there.. Mom stays at her house every year since she normally has one too many beers....LOL This way we all have Christmas morning to our own families..

Donna, I totally ignored your question about the water. No we have methane gas in our well water. The owner was made to either hook up to city water or try a treatment thing, so he went fo he cheapest thing. They started on it in August and are just now hooking it up to the power today, morons. If that don't work they he will have to hook up to city water, they have the streets marked just in case.

BJ that sounds normal for Christmas at this house. We have turkey for Thanksgiving but Christmas it is something else. Sounds yummy and please save me a piece of cherry pie!! Besides chocolate pie, cherry is my next favorite. Warm with one scoop of 'niller ice cream please.

We are having ham, mashed taters, green bean casserole, gravy and rolls-just the 2 of us, so nothing fancy-no pie-DH will eat like 1 peice, then end up eating like 3 peices, then the rest goes bad-just a waste.....

Linda K this is the 4th time I am trying to post this so here goes again... The plant I posted is a streptocarpus and is in the av family... I use lights so they bloom all year.... I have at least 80-90 of them give or take 20..LOL They are very pretty and I needed a hobby to keep me happy in the winter so this is it... The house is always cheerful with blooms..

I'm here for a change and loving it. Pass the hot chocolate. Yesterday I had mine with Godiva White Chocolate Liquor in it, twice!! but it is too early for that today. Just something warm in my tummy.

Linda that is only one stand LOLLOLOL Neither did I have luck trying to grow plants but these for some reason love me... I think it was because I was going crazy at the time when I really needed something to calm my nerves... I went into a very deep depression when my son went to war a couple years back and I found a very good head doc so she told me I need something to tend to other then my family so these are those... I still love each one for helping me and they sense this I belive... My son is now in the states and hopefully going to stay there... He did two tours in hell and one in Japan

We are having snow daily; 10" Friday, 4" yesterday with wind and cold in single digits. More today but I am comfy and cozy here with you all. Going to do some quilting and sometime I may go out and pick up some more fabric to back the T-shirt quilts I am doing. Not in a hurry to go out in this stuff!
