I am back in by the fire stitching Santa Robes again......told the neighbor kids that the shovel is on my front walk if they need to borrow it again....I won't be with it!!

Glad Tony is enjoying the books, Laura and Sage had so much fun getting them for him!

Oh yes I do plan to be at the party Phyllis!!! Good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise I am coming!! Just beginning to wonder about my what my sistah will be up to? Only time will tell.

How is the quilt coming? I have managed to get the last of the letters for the festival into their envelopes, sealed, labels made now it will be post them. Up to date, atleast until I see the other vendor coordinating on my trip to Gainesville. She has those that have been received since the 13th of November.

We are supposed to leave around 5pm tomorrow evening...after hubby gets in from the office. We are driving to TN staying over night in hotel then finishing the trip to AL on Tuesday. I hope the 30% chance of snow holds true and equals zero......with temps at 8 degrees tomorrow snow would be bad for traveling.

I have tons to read on my trip!!

Heather, hoping you a safe trip to AL. It has been years since I have gone there this time of year. When parents in law were living we would go to Jasper, AL to visit them. Our last trip to the area was February, 1996 when they had that bad ice storm. My FIL had passed and we were trying to get these only to find most all the highways were closed. Enjoy your books and chat when you can. We will miss you.

Cindy I almost Im'd you a few minutes ago but I was trying to email an application to a vendor. You got off before I finished answering all the questions in her request.

I have to tell yall this......The Dutchess [my 8yo and the baby] asked me earlier for Nana and Poppas address [in al] and I was busy so told her to look it up in my address book....and went back to packing.

Later I saw a nice cut out with stickers note on the buffet.....To Santa: We will not be here so please bring our presents to my Nanas and Poppas and she put the address. ♥

I just thought it was very thoughtful and precious.......gonna miss these age once she is in the horrid teen years. Nah, I love them too.

Oh that is so sweet Heather. Yes, you will miss it but you know about teenagers then they become adults. Funny they are not only your children but can be your best friends at times. Please travel safely.

I cannot believe the weather we are having.....it has been years since we have seen anything like this....and it is snowing again tonight....more predicted tomorrow !

I picked up a marker today and was planning on trying it out but my daughter came out for pizza tonight and we watched the batman movie dark knight so I am going to have to get busy tomorrow and get the pattern marked and sewn

If you are all traveling, please be careful. We need you to arrive safe and sound! My cousin told me there was a bad car accident in Michigan with more than a hundred cars involved, and highway was shut down for a bit! And even the snowplows were not running, Just too much wind and snow to deal with! Be careful please.

Is everyone done shopping, and running around for Christmas? It is only 3 more days!!!

The weather is crazy here too. Our sierras are getting tons of snow. It has not snowed like this in years. Usually waits until after Christmas or even later. My mom could get some snow. I saw on the news the 100 car pile up in MI. Even flights are getting delayed and canceled.

I didn't say I would drive the scooter while I was impared-just going to get Uncle Don to agree to let me while he is!!LOL

Getting very excited over here. Our tree is up!! not a single ornement or light on it...hehehe.
We've changed the location of it this year. It stands tallish and beautiful, in my sunroom!!
Hopefully we will decorate it today sometime.

Was working on a few last minute gifts, until 3 this morning. One last load of laundry to do and will begin packing for Florida trip!!

Had a very short bout of depression yesterday...So weird not to be with co-workers this time of year.
Hope they are all doing well. LOL, a couple of phone calls to hear their voices and share a little laughter helped with that.

So now, I am happily writing out a few cards today...and I have to get my shopping finished, yow nothing like the last minute!

Can't wait, can't wait...Only 4 more days to extend a couple of promised Giant Armwraps....Big smiles here.

Morning sistahs... it's 27 here this morn, and I have no idea what the wind chill is, but it looks really cold. They're predicting that we're going to have snow on Christmas day... now, that would be just crazy for Texas.

Got to get busy today getting all my dust bunnies tamed so I don't have to say to anyone "pardon my house" as they walk in the door on Thursday. I just hate to have to say that.

PLUS, I just decided last night what to fix for Christmas dinner, so I need to go to the store today and get the stuff... might even bake a pie... now, wouldn't that be a shocker to everyone? This mom don't usually bake.

Was 80 yesterday and now its 40* feels lik e31 with wind chill and the high is only 63 --- I swear we are all going to be sik if the weather doesnt make up its mind soon.. Mx said it got cold last night when he got in this morning around 430..

Talked to my twin step daughters agin last night and I spoke with their mother.. Seems some things happened around the time they stopped calling last and I had to speak up and make sure she was doing what needed to be done.. Im so stressed I ont know how Im going to tell Max what has happened with his daughter an just absolutely nt belieeving she didnt call and tell us anything. Posted last night everywhere I could think of looking for bunk beds just in case.. She still says they can come down for summmer vacation so thats a plus.. Please keep My DSD Teara in your prayers shes needs faith right now.. Trina is doing better but she also wants away...

Think Im headed to Micheals today sometime so I can get an item with my 50%off coupon they sent me..

I'm a sewing and bottleing up water. They put in a water treatment thing and will be hooking it up so they said we wouldn't have any water today. Wrapping last few pressies.

I started working at 5am this mnorning so am now taking a much needed breakfast break. Got to get as much done for this week as possible in these next few days so I can take Thursday and Friday off.

My daughter, her husband and my dear granddaughter are coming tomorrow, thankfully so I can assign them some of the chores. My other daughter and her husband won;t be here until late Christmas Eve, so we will be rushing on Christmas to get the official Christmas brunch made and cleaned up, then all have to get ready by noon to go to my sister's house.

I sent Jaye a Dmail about this but haven't seen her posting anything so I guess she is unavailable. I need to ask a dumb question as I am sure I missed an entire discussion about the this: Jaye sent me a cute Elf Hat, which was very nice of her, along with a lovely card. But, then I saw someone posting something about doing something crafty with their Elf Hat, please tell me am I supposed to make something and pass it on to someone else?

I am having a hard time keeping up with all the posts and tried to go back to see where something might have been said about the hat but no luck. Please take pity on me and clue me in?

Oh Donna it is cold here also. If the winds would stop blowing so hard I don't think it would be so bad--hope it dies down before I have to get on the Interstate this afternoon.

Maybe we ill make 50 today but Christmas Day they are saying high 70's. That's just no fair!! Stay cold through Christmas atleast.

Heather, I laughed so hard at your statement about telling people not to be outside..etc. It is so silly we have to tell people what should just be common sense. No wonder kids today can't think!! Terri, here is your tea!! Plain or sugar and cream?

The hat--some got Santa and others elf--we can decorate it or not as you desire. It is yours to keep but Jaye wants us all to post pictures of us with our hats on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I think it has not been determined which. Hope that help some.
