Was just thinking about those margarita glasses... I agree with Stacey... maybe a little brush strokes of glass paint on the stem, and a ring with a charm on it at the base of the stem... again... keep it simple.

For the glasses...........seriously, Find something in your computer clipart you like some wavy lines or flowers....print it out. Then cut out the black part from the printer and make yourself a stencil, tape it on the glass, THEN paint....easy!!

Cindy if you go to the Quilting area and look at the 2008-2009 Quilt Block you will find a new quilt block swap. You can pick your own pattern and your own colors so you could use the blue and green you want.

and gals got a question..I had picked up a pencil made for marking that cleans off with just water for marking my pattern on the quilt but every time I go to sharpen it it breaks off ...do ya think I can just use a regular pencil instead as I plan on washing it by hand once it is all done and then pressing it so it will be nice and crisp and pretty LOL

I don't think a regular pencil will wash out. Try on a scrap of material. Or try sharping your marking pencil with a knife, just enough to use.

Phyllis, you might use a bar of Ivory soap sharpened on the dark colors. It does work well. I would be afraid to use pencil. To bad your aren't closer as I have several kinds that you could use for marking. Mine don't have to be sharpened--they are kinda like felt tip markers BUT washable.

I'm to the point of the ivory color now so it needs to be like a pencil or something other then a white I already tried my sewing chalk I used for marking when sewing clothes. but it is too light....will try sharpening wtih a knife and see if that helps

OH yea for got about those. I have a marker that disappears after a short time. You can get them at Wal_Mart.

We have snow coming down in buckets.....they are now saying up to 18 inches tonight.....took forever to get back home this afternoon....I am exhausted and I still have to make another trip down to pick up DH and DS from work at 9.....Going to have coca and rest for awhile/

grr I am ticked went to remove marks I put on to change the placement and ya know what they lied. the dang transfer pencil is not washing off like they said with just water so I added a lil laundry soap and still they are showing up ...going to walley world in the morning for something different

Phyllis sometimes it goes through and gets into the batting--that can be a real problem. Good luck.

Okay ladies, no the tree isn't decorated. It is up but we are expecting rain tomorrow and a couple of days after so I was forced to get the deep pile of leaves of both decks before I have wood rotten. Urgggh!! Why doesn't a good "eye candy" hunk appear with the only things he wants is to do my yard work? Well, I can dream can't I?

After a couple of days the leaves will be to do all over again. Shucks!! I am really tired now so I don't know how much longer I will stay up. Kim can't help me as she has been sick all day!! Some sort of stomach virus. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!!

well I've been reading on line and found a couple places say to use a pencil lightly but may get one of those markers tomorrow and try it first ...it is drying now so maybe by tomorrow it will be dry enough to try again

Why yes Trisha I will take some of your snow. Atleast it will melt and leaves don't--they just continue to pile up and make a mess. I atleast have them off for the time being and hopefully the rain won't come tomorrow as predicted giving the decks some time to dry out a little more. I can see why shredded leaves make good mulch if they hold water around plants like they have on the decks.

Please be careful!! I know you will but watch out for the other drivers. Hummm, maybe next time you will wish a little less hard for snow? LOL Enjoy some of it for me, please.

Debra, I’ve found myself skimming a lot recently. If I don’t get on when the kids are here I usually don’t have a lot of time.

I know it is after midnight BUT we just opened nonessential 'family' gifts....basically stuff we didnt want to take to AL to bring back. Especially IF we were old enough to understand the need to open before Santa came. So the family gave me a Kitchen Aide Stand mixer.....I have been drooling over. And cake mix ....oh and an outside thermo to check the temp. SO I baked a cake....with chocolate icing!! :)

Its okay I am used to talking to myself.......more cake for us. I made decaf coffee and have some coffee mate Gingerbread and Carmel Apple.......which do you prefer?
