Oh no, please keep it Phyllis. I'll take the hammock. Besides I do think I am going to bed soon. My body aches from cleaning and rearranging the furniture in the family room today. Use a few muscles that have been dormant for awhile. So please, just sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the nice comfy chair.

Marion i have almost 8 acres to plant them on,but i will plant them in my front yard.

Night all.....the snow and ice puts a cramp in my days.......I'll go back and try and catch up later.....Had to drive the DH to work....slow going with the ice....came home and placed some orders and did some typing for him for the frame business.....picked him up for lunch, dropped him back at work.....went out to try and get finished up with some shopping......just pulled back into the house when Laura called and wanted to come over and work on some projects we have to get finished. Picked Bill up and the three of us stopped for dinner and are back home working on projects again....with the ice and snow it is slow going on the roads here....they don't have the budget to clear the roads properly. Just don't want to have to go out in it!!!

It was 25 degrees when we came home, they are saying 19 degrees tonight......we are supposed to have another storm coming in tomorrow night to dump some more snow........next time I tell ya'll I want snow here someone slap some sense into me.....but it is so pretty and I do love it!!!

We have to get finished up here and get Laura home before it ices up too badly....talk to you tomorrow.

This place is pure wonderful blissfully EVIL!! :) NOT here but DG, I have been drawing and erasing and searching instead of packing for our Christmas trip......I have some lists of stuff to order for Spring....and informed hubby he had some work to do the weekends it gets warm.

BUT he is gonna fix my #1 problem as soon as we get home from vacation.

We have NO outside water spigot ...he is fixing that ASAP. Whew.

no Marion, not really tired of the Snow, it is beautiful.The sun on the snow today was so incredible. I just don't like all the problems it causes people....I haven't had any problems just tired of having to take Dh to work etc. since he can't ride his bike in the snow and ice...and I want Laura and Sean to be able to get up to Port Angeles safely to visit his folk for Christmas as it will probably be Sean's stepdads last one due to severe illness. If it weren't for those things I could gladly put up with snow all winter.

Heather, I’m one of the nieces (the youngest one on here I know of) I’ll be 30 Jan. 6th. My mom is also on here (Zhinusmom/Trisha) I don’t care what they say; if you’re a stay home mom you rarely have free time. I’m a stay home mom, I daycare two kids M-Th and babysit a 2 year old often F-S, sometimes Th and Sun. My DSD, Sage, is 7, the girl I day care is 8 and the boy is 10.

I still mean to get out and play in the snow; I’d be just fine with it if the streets were snow free, as it is its making my life hard.

I’m behind on the 2009 swap too, but I wouldn’t be able to send it out till next month anyways.

Marion, power hasn’t been a worry yet, maybe tomorrow night; we’re supposed to get a lot (4 to 12”) of snow and may get high winds, with or without power it’s going to be nasty. Mom should be ok, I can’t remember her (or grandma, who’s lived there longer) loosing power; I think their lines are underground. I hope we don’t loose power, DH’s work (Pizzeria) is on the hospital grid, so if there are power outages they try to stay open as long as possible so people have somewhere to get food, and I’d hate for him to have to be out in that.

18” of snow is way too much; 4” for a couple days would have been good. I’m just hoping the roads are good the 24th and 26th so we can drive several hours to my MIL’s. As I said somewhere tonight, I wouldn’t mind the snow at all if it would stay off the roads.

Jaye, the roads weren’t too bad today so I went over to mom’s and finished my fairy for the fairy swap, one of the problems I’ve had with being snowed in, I was hoping to get it done Wed and then the snow came in. I’m hoping to get the fairy and frog out tomorrow.

Mom, you said you wanted some snow and they gave us too much, next time be specific.

Yep Trisha, "Ask and you shall receive", lol. But this snow storm you're having, doesn't happen like this every winter does it.

Morning, coffee is on!! Everything frozen again last night. Now this is rare for us. It hardly ever gets this cold here.

I got most of my 2009 swap finished yesterday.....just a smidge more and selaing to go:)

I have to finish my 2009 swap today, get the house cleaned this weekend and get my seed swap taken care of...busy weekend for sure!!

Nothing here. I'm going to sewing some nightgowns and PJ's for granddaughter, Rick is going to finish putting up outside decos, then he is going to make fudge, then I'm going to be deep cleaning living room from ceiling to shampooing carpets. Oh what a fun day, lol.

Morning everyone

Just awoke in shock that I got to sleep in.. Tony made breakfast (cereal) and Tristen said they knew my back was bothering me so they let me sleep in.. So sweet but scared me to death when I awoke and found that Max hasnt made it home from work yet.. He went in last night a 530 and when I called he said they were still cleaning up and not to worry I was his emergency contact and if something had happened they would have called me... Uggghhh

Oh sweet, So have you burned your Snow Fairy candle yet?

No-it is too pretty-I leave the top off though and it is in the downstairs bath which is a 1/2 bath and the whole room smells like it:)

What sweet children you have. Your body probably needed the extra rest, you have been going and going. I'm a hurting after my shopping yesterday. My left foot, because I have plantar faciitis (sp) is throbing so I'm icing and strecthing it now.

Jaye, go to the store like a CVS and get a product from Dr. Schols"(sp) sorry... it is called mole skin... you cut it to surround your blister and then it does not hurt nearly as much and you can even walk really good with it... My son when he was at war in hell had blisters so bad I would not have been able to walk but the Marine's gave them all mole skin and he showed me that trick when I had a very bad blister on my foot...
Gosh you all are so busy running here and there and I hate to shop so all my gift given was done on line... We have a birthday party for my GD Lydia who turned one on Wed. and to tell you the truth I don't want to go... They all have been sick and I don't want to catch it nor do I want my MIL to get it... BUT you know I will be going as it is my GD...Gotta love them...
Well taking xmas trees... Mine is up and has lights but it has 3 yes I said 3 ornaments on it and that is it...
Oh in the mornings that I am home and not working I wanted some of you to know that if you don't drink coffee I make hot tea so if you want any just give a holler...LOL
I can't believe xmas is so close... It came so fast this year for me...
Ok going to drink my tea and wake up some...

Donna, I bought some Christmas scene placemats from Dollar General for 2 bucks a piece, and will turn them into pillows. Then I have a few sewing projects to finish as well.. fun .. fun.. fun..

I don't shop at our local mall very often. I've been in it maybe 5 times in the 2 1/2 years I have lived here. Well yesterday I went in one door and out another. When I got outside things looked different and I couldn't find my car, plus I was having a power surge at the time. So back in I went, when I got to the main part where you can see all ends of the mall, I had to stand there and look around. Finally I remembered seeing something when I came in the door, AH now I'm heading in the right direction. You know sometimes it's scarey when you can't remember things like that, lol
