Well the Micheals store got me good today....lol

BJ you are my inspiration and I went in just wandering with my xmas from dad in hand not knowing what I was going to get.> I ended up getting 15 packages of polymer clay, a roller and a cay toold kit (small one).. I igure thats a great start.. So any suggestions of web sites would be wonderful for a girl starting out!

Deborah, I am so sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. Lisa is in a better place and free of pain, for that I am grateful. I know how unbearable it can be to watch someone you love so dearly suffer. Call if I can do anything to help your family.

I take a day to run errands and everything happens!! Flamingo Kim gets a motel, Trisha has snow everywhere, Brenda talks about the best fudge (please post recipe), Tinky watches a movie at work, Debra just keep playing with her new machine (hummm, now just what is she doing?), Linda Kay is cheerful as ever and Cindy is visiting her Mom, Cody's son is home and me? I am just plain tired, exhausted, beat!!!! Then Kel and Jaye are off playing Uncle and Tante Noel without showing us any pictures and BJ has created another spectacular item.

It was a balmy 82 today and just so inappropriate for this time of year!!! It just isn't right--it should be colder!!!

Marion dont feel bad I missed alot too.. Sounds like you got warmer than us today.. we hit 79 which was more than enough for this girl whos been missing the cold anyway... Just wrong!

Well marion, if you want cold or a white Christmas you have you do have several to choose from, LOL. My mom has dial-up, talk about snail is there anything slower yes this pc. She can't get DSL, but I was wondering about wireless.

Same for you Donna, come to California!!! We have cold and just a little up the road where I used to live it snow. I so miss my little house. I say little because it was 750 square feet 2 bed 2 bath, one bath had an old claw foot bath tub. I had a crafting room seperate from the house that was 275 square feet. :( :( :(

Yep, that's how I feel all of you over yonder are within driving distance with at least one or two sistahs. The only one that I know of close to me is Annemarie.

I have a few close enough but will need a better vehicle to go visiting..

Cindy I have Sprint Wireless and I love it!! Anywhere I can use my Cell Phone I can use my computer.....

It is Snowing Again.....28 degrees and getting colder......I just finished making the mail run for several ladies in the neighborhood of which my Mum (at 80) is the youngest....the others are older, using canes and walkers and I didn't want any of them trying to wade through 6 inches of snow and ice. The elder of the three fell out front a little over a year ago (with no snow) and broke her hip.....we don't need a repeat.

BJ, got your letter today....Thank you sistah......it will go in my special little drawer.....one never knows.

This is fast as i am on hubby's puter... I hate it...LOL I cut the wire to my laptop lastnight and had to order one so If I am missing for a few eyou all know why.... Not because I am depressed just don't like this puter....LOLOL I will be back on soon one way or another....

Donna... a pasta maker will come in handy... but my son doesn't have one either and uses his rolling pin with his clay sandwiched between parchment paper... it works fine for him... but for now, you won't need one... just get used to the feel first.

Hi Girls with the shop guys not having any doors open int he shop I don't get reception in my office and my co worker and I share the computer in there so I'm not able to get on much at work right now

I thought I would be able to join everyone earlier but the phone has been ringing non stop tonight. Was going to call Judy (did actually but got the machine and left message) but vendors have been called sometimes before I can hang up!!! What gives--someone hit a panic button or something. 4 months to go and it has been crazy before but never this crazy!!! Oh well take it as a good omen!!!

Y'all, I've not been handling this season too well. Don't know why, I've always been gung ho for Christmas. I've been fighting with depression, and I'm taking a pretty strong antidepressant. All I want to do is curl up in the bed, under the covers, and stay there. I got out to Wal*Mart today and finished my shopping, but I still have presents not wrapped, and I just can't get in the mood.
Sorry to cry on your shoulders again, but I'm so glat I have you all to talk to!

Hey Marion. I have put my sewing machine away, but I need to get it back out. I need to make some curtains for my grandsons, out of some cars fabric, and I think I will try to make one more Santa. I am done shopping for christmas except for a few stocking stuffers.
Audrey, don't you dare disappear from here. You just keep right on posting, and let us know how your doing. Don't worry about crying on our shoulders. That is what we are here for.

I think we all got the email from collections etc. I spent a long time on that site, window shopping. It always gets me into trouble. And most of the items are pretty good for the money you pay.
