We got a new Dell Computer today, and I think I finally have it up and running.
Kim what part of Michigan did you live in. I grew up in Grand Haven.

Debra believe me we sere with you in spirit….that picture looks identical to what we were doing this morning…..around 9 degrees and out with Porter (has a lot more frosting than your Black Dog) who has to stop and sniff each track, blade of grass, bush, footprint and anything else along the way…..don’t youwish you knew what goes through their heads? And it was COLD!!!!! They say we have Snow coming tonight and tomorrow, cold through the first of the year………not used to that.

BJ, good idea…with our weather reports I am stocked up on makins for Soups and Cornbread, got cocoa, coffee, tea, and cider….firewood and critter food…..Santa Parts…..guess we are set for whatever comes along.

Deborah so glad you and Larry had a good time!

Robin do be careful of Widgets habit as tobacco is extremely toxic to dogs…..

Kim, the sun porch is 12' X 70' and can fit a lot of beds... anyone that wants to stay with me is welcome to. I'll send out some more info after the first of the year.

Seems as though Google Earth has driven down our street sometime (from the looks of things, probably last Feb or Mar 2008) and we now have a "street veiw of our house and neighborhood.

Now you can all see first hand where I live... it's the yellow house with the red roof in the curve.

Very nice, and the google street view is both awesome and scary! I just looked ours up, and it's been taken within the last month! I was going to post a link but can't make it work... anyway, put in your address and see your neighborhood!

Tonight is Christmas dinner at my aunt's house. Don't know yet if it's still scheduled. Probably will be since it's to get above freezing today.

I read on 1Anjl's prayer thread, that she hs had her surgery, and she did not lose her ovaries or appendix, like she thought she would. It was a partial hysterectomy. She is still trying to get her son stabilised on his proper meds, but that will take time.

I am here for a minute-I have to go get ready for wrok-I switched with the other gal so I didn't have to trek into work through 3.5" non plowed snow this am....so I am in at 10:45...boss hasn't been in yet this week-her child is sick, so meanwhile myself and the other gal that BOTH have Dr's notes that we should be home (she has the stomach flu) are instead working our bootys off:(

Having coffee Not hurngy yet cold again.Well last nite went out to shovel again cause I think the plow guy likes me cause after everytime I shovel he come back the last time he went by was 10. So today I am going to try and get my snowblower to work haven't tryed it yet.
My son called last nite will be home Monday and is going to work on my truck so its ready for my Adventure in a couple of weeks

Oh I forgot to answer that yesterday LK I lived in Upper Michigan Michigamme Thats by Marquette about 50 miles from were I lived and that was the big town were I had to shop so I go into town about evey 2 weeks. and so now that I live back in the city its hard for me to get out of the habit of buying more things than I need and if they are on sale watch out I think I have 4 big can's of coffee It takes about 2 month for me to get finished with 1. My Husband Got the house I got the money There was no way that I could have money to pay for it
We live on a dead end road in the woods had 100 Acers. I do miss that but I am turnnig my life around I can save money do what I want when I want Not hurts feels and not get mine hurt cause he doesn't want to do it.

She drives a company vehicle, so she won't even have a car to go job searching in! Seems like whenever you hear of someone with troubles, there is someone worse than that just around the corner!

I have to tell you, This has been one incredible year for me. First I met Betty and my friend Liz, They Traveled from Canada and California just to meet me. Wow, I am so blessed. And now I am finishing up the Year meeting another set of DG Friends, my Sistahs...LOL, Steve(DH) is going a little bonkers, everytime he mentions a place we want to visit, I say oh my lets see so and so...ROFLOL, he stopped asking where I know them from...LOL answer My friend from DG!!

Next year we are planning to visit Betty in Canada. LOL, told her now that my place is clean she needs to come again.

Also, I had the painting Book for almost a year, never really thumbing it page by page. So one day I was fantasisng what fairy i was going to make for whom and discovered the Seedtosser Fairy...lol at least thats What i call her, Was absolutley Thrilled to have discovered her. One day i am going to make her for my gardens...Ahhh, just another Dream

Good morning everyone! Still cold here (um, well, that's winter in Colorado, isn't it?). Not snowing right now but more expected later. As an update, my sister Dixie is doing well recovering from her appendix surgery. She is an avid baker and usually goes crazy at Christmas making everything concievable, so since she can't do the baking this year, I made a double batch of fudge (her recipe... it's awesome), and sent her a bunch. I'm hoping she gets it today.

It just occurred to me that it's only 8 days until Christmas and I still have some shopping to do (not a lot, but I'd better get on it!!!). Cleaning the carpet today (a rather regular occurance with 4 dogs in the house). Hope you all are having a lovely day!
