Phyllis you have a never ending supply of good recipes. Are the family recipes or do you just start trying them out and keep the ones you like? I only bake a limited few--mostly oatmeal raisin, cornflake cookies and the Christmas cookies you do with a press. Guess that is what my family like so didn't experiment much. Would do brownies but when I leave the nuts out they just aren't brownies anymore to me. Kids won't eat them!!

Yes, my mom made it home safely. That was her second time, she will be back down Christmas Eve morning. We will be making pies and other goodies.
I think about my mom's future all the time, and Thank God she is healthy and can take of herself now. I know she will be coming to live with me when she starts having to depend on me more. Her house is too small for us and all of my craft stuff, so we will probably fix it up and rent it out. I'm hoping that some day my brother will get out of prison and then he can live there.

You ladies are a hoot.... I don't want JD, I want the guy from NCIS... The older one and I can't think of his name.... My Bird is a she and she is the smallest of parrots she is a Peach Front Conure.... Males don't have the orange ring around the eye... and we had her DNA tested when she first went nuts and we did not know why... Well I left her for the weekend at home while I went to my son's place at collage... Silly bird....

Well everyone, I just got the mail delivered, and wanted to say thanks to everyone for the pressies.
I have to ask who Romy from marshfield, Wisconsin is? I got this beautiful Nene homas ribbon necklace from her, and want to say thank you very much. it is beautiful. I don't think it is part of the fairy swap, because I just got a box from Chris (ClanCampbell) for that one.

Yesterday Mom and I went to Mervyns. The sale was 60 -80 % off. I found Polly Pockets for my grandaughter for $8.00 & $ 11 normally $28.00 & $20.00. I want to go back and buy me a bunch of clothes. Sweaters $36 marked down to $11.

That's the way with me too. I get overly enthusiastic when trying a new thing.. go overboard with supplies. Needless to say, I have amassed a huge collection of white elephants!!

All's not lost though, it will be months later when I'll attempt again, unless there's a deadline.. like swaps :D
