Maid M., it's 20% off sale at another quilting store today. Thinking of getting some pre-quilted fabric. Dem are expensive, even online! Kel loves it when I suggested bargain hunts 'cause that means Chinese buffet for him!!

Oh Chinese buffet!! Where when do we go? Definitely get you a wrist brace as it will help but you need to wear it at night (pain you know where) according to my doc. He gets upset when I tell him it is miserable at night but he only replied that is when we do the most damage to our wrist. You twist and turn it more than you think. Who knows I certainly don't.

Oh how I wish we were closer I would love to have a buddy to go bargain hunting with. Hummm might even talk Kel into being our driver. I really miss that!!!

Dang Marion, one of us better hit the lottery! He says the way I spend on quilting supplies, I should be opening up my own store. Then when I told him that that's your vice too.. and I think Janice's as well.. he said thank God we're not living close to you.. for sure his budget on dining out will be cut back!!
I don't have a quilting buddy here. His aunt used to quilt, hand quilt everything, and now too tired to continue.
But....as for chauffering.. Kel will be glad to do it!

Oh his eating out wouldn't suffer!!! I love to hunt bargains on good quilting fabric. Just wish Kim was interested!! She does have other talents but every now and then I like to just go shop at a real quilt shop!!!

I love it, Kel does the driving I will keep him in lemon pies, cakes and candy. How is that?

Morning everyone, well at least for a few more minutes here anyway.
I am back home, and so tired from the drive, but I had a wonderful time yesterday. It was my grandsns 11th Birthday, and we had a great day. I even got some Christmas shopping for the Grandkids, so I am almost done.
Does anyone know where I can get some harry potter fabric?
My feet are pretty sore, but Doc said they will be for awhile!

I could not figure out how to make a half moon for a fairy to sit in out of a ball shaped ornament... so, this fairy in a purple dress is sitting on a full moon...

Her SO is Laura's ex boyfriend....he lived with us for a couple of years in high school when his dad had some bad drug problems....he is like a second son to us.

Looks like no snow for us, just lots of cold down in the 20's so guess I will but on a big pot of daddy's beef stew. But first I'm going to put the kettle on and take the dog out. Talk to ya later.

Thanks, but I'm still practicing, and haven't been able to correct a lot of the mistakes I've been making ... I'm trying though, and will continue to try on the things that I'm doing just for me... someday, maybe I'll feel confident enough to actually sell something I make.

If those are just practice, and "lots of mistakes" I can't begin to imagine what a GOOD one will look like!!!!

Seriously, they are truly perfect as most people come looking for different and uniques items. I think I should have stayed in bed.....Rick called me and his car broke down, the fan belt and harmonic balancer. I called around to the the auto part store of course they don't have it in stock, except for Toyota dealership and they want $208 and Rick won't pay that. Man sometimes I could just smack him. So now I have to drive 40 some odd miles to take AAA card to him (he also lost his wallet this morning somewhere) so we can get the car home. What he is going to do about getting to work Monday, I have no clue, but I'm not driving him and he is not taking my 4runner.

Oh BJ trust me, I am extremely picky about the craft vendors I let into the festival!!! We have so many that apply that we can select only the top of the group!!! You certainly qualify for that!! Not just being kind on this issue. If we don't have good quality items being shown, we don't keep people from attending year to year!!! You such be extremely proud and I am sure you are of the quality of your work!!!!
