Robitussin yuck! I'd try Thermaflu warming relief http://www.theraflu.com/index.shtml I get sick fairly easily and that's my favorite medicine for sore throat or coughs.

I wanted Vicks, but they didn't have any, so I got the icky stuff:(

I got that a couple years ago when I was seriously sick and made my Brother (we were rooming together at the time) go out and get me something else, I just couldn't take it no matter how sick I was. Pepto I hate, tastes like rotting strawberries to me, but I will take it if I really need it.

Pepto reminds me of the stuff they used to put on vomit at school if it happened in like the hallway or something....

Off for the rest of the weekend.. Yeahhhhhhh Fairy, I am so sorry you are having problems at work... I had problems a long time ago but unlike you I had no other person to go to as my only other person at work is "The Boss" she was going through a rough time at home and she brought it to work.. I finally started talking to her the way she was talking to me... You stick to your guns and if you are getting sick from it that is not good... Hope things get better for you one way or another...
I love your dog's puppies... They are so cute.. We have one who comes into work and she has had so many health problems... She has had two knee replacements and both hips and has had disk problems and had to have surgery for that also... She is a sweet dog... lucky her parents are rich to repair all of what needed to be done....
Well is sunny here today and temps are going in the 60's I believe again... crazy weather... We may be going to play golf so I may be around later or if not I will be back later.... I hope you are all having a great day...

Kim, I use epsom salts to 'green up'. For houseplants, mix 1 tsp. to 1 gallon of water and apply once per week.

Okay I am home from the Christmas program at the "parashal" as the 3 yo says. Oh my I had forgotten how cute they can be at this age doing a program. How fidgetey, how restless and then look like little angels!!!

Well I have to tell you guys yesterday We were toasting to a very good friend that just past away on her Motocycle but she wood love the shots we had a Chocolate Martini. we had the bartrender make it in a Martini glass that put it in 4 plastic shot glasses because it was 9 bucks a drink and we didn't even get the good stuff. so today I went to the store and got Baileys real, Kahula real and the best one is Godiva white chocolate Liqueur 1 part of each
This I have to tell is out of this world but you don't want to Do to many sweet so My sister is comming over and helping me wrap gift so she can get in the Christmas Mood I have wine for her but I just don't no what I will drink Tis the Holiday cocktail time

Just in case anyone needs an "alternative" recipe for Rum Cake:

RUM CAKE

PREHEAT OVEN TO 325. GREASE AND FLOUR BUNDT CAKE PAN. COVER BOTTOM OF PAN WITH 1 C. CHOPPED PECANS.

MIX TOGETHER:

1 DUNCAN HINES WHITE CAKE MIX (WITHOUT PUDDING)
1 SMALL PKG VANILLA INSTANT PUDDING
4 EGGS
1/2 C WATER
1/2 C BACARDI LIGHT RUM
1/2 C WESSON OIL

BLEND MIX FOR 3 MIN. PUT IN PREPARED BUNDT CAKE PAN AND BAKE 50-55 MIN UNTIL CAKE TESTS DONE WITH TOOTHPICK. ABOUT 20 MIN BEFORE CAKE IS READY TO REMOVE FROM OVEN, BRING THE SAUCE MIXTURE (SEE BELOW) TO A SLOW BOIL AND SIMMER FOR 5 MIN.

MIX TOGETHER:

1/4 C LIGHT RUM
1/4 C WATER
1/4 C SUGAR
1 STICK BUTTER, NOT MARGARINE

WHEN THE CAKE IS REMOVED FROM THE OVEN, PLACE ON COOLING RACK LEAVING CAKE IN PAN. IMMEDIATELY POUR THE HOT SAUCE SLOWLY OVER THE CAKE. LEAVE IN PAN FOR 15 MIN WHILE SAUCE ABSORBS INTO CAKE. USING HOT PADS, TURN CAKE UPSIDE DOWN ON SERVING PLATE .

SOMETIMES IT HELPS TO LIGHTLY INSERT A KNIFE IN SPOTS AROUND THE PAN TO LOOSEN THE CAKE BEFORE TURNING IT OUT.

My DH asks me to make this for him several times a year....it is good stuff....
