Stacey, been there done that. I think most of us have. Whatever you decide to do we'll back you up. I do agree with you about putting as much money in your hands right now and then do your thing. One thing I do want to stress to you. Go the HR not to your direct boss. It will be easier on you and you can explain things to them without the worry of 'HER' being there to lie.

This is dragging you down BIG time, you need to take care of Stacey and to heck with the others. I would see the doc asap like today or Friday don't put it off.

When I tender my resignation, there will be a very well thought out and composed, factual email sent to corporate HR-they are in WA so the only way to talk to them is by phone or email....

I called the boss to tell her about the worker and she was messing around with others in the background and only 1/2 paying attn to me....

Is there any type of union you can call? AFL/CIO??? There has to be someone to report her to, She is wrong, and if you have those email printed out, you have your proof!

I just get so mad when I hear how employers treat their employees. My boss at Merry Maids was a big time back stabber. When I first went to work there I thought she was the best there could ever be. She helped me sell my house (but lied to me, long story), she took us to Sun Splash for the whole day, Christmas parties and presents, then the real estate business started going down, so then she took away all the incentives and bonuses, and turned into the wicked witch of the rest. People started quitting left and right. Now she is struggling to keep her business running without having a backup income to support Merry Maids.

Morning, cant stay long, got hubby home last night. All is well. He will be home at least thru Christmas maybe longer. Have a good day all!!!!!!!!! Hugs

Stacey, if there is a human resources division with your company, even if you have to communicate by phone or email, do it, and do it now. This is harassment. I strongly recommend that you email from your private email, so that you have documentation of what your communication is with them. Use the word harassment in your email. Tell them how much you are trying to do a good job, but you are being threatened and harassed. I'd say send a copy of your boss's nasty emails, but I wonder if there would be an issue as to how you aquired them (hacking into email accounts is a felony, I think... so be careful with that). However, I think you could say something like "I have reason to believe that my boss is planning on forcing me to quit by reducing my hours", etc. etc.) But, document everything and address it. If a company is big enough to have a HR dept., they are smart enough to know that they don't want a harassment lawsuit, and there are government agencies that can help you with that. Even if you don't feel like fighting, you need to protect yourself.

Just my two cents worth, but there are rules that companies must abide by, and I'm thinking your boss is breaking those rules. I used to work as a Manager in a large real estate corporation... employee relations are very delicate.

Stacy, I just talked to a friend of mine who is in HR and she says what they tell workers are to send them all documentation, including the Dr.s report. If your boss is doing this to co-workers, get them to send them letters and such to HR. She is harassing you. The emails are open game when she forces you to use her computer, the emails are open, you saw your name and thought it was for you to do a job, you had no idea when you read it that it was discriminating material. That might not be the right word, maybe damaging is better, but you get the drift. Even if you do quit, it's on record incase some other worker has problems. HR will do their job. They live for that stuff.

My daughter is going through this at her work and believe me they (all her coworkers) joined in. They gave her boss 3 days to get his act together, apologize and do his own work or he was gone, no and, ifs, or buts about.

Do what is in Stacey's best interest. I personally would put the screws to her and then quit.
