Thanks Pat. I try to choose plants that will provide winter interest - berries, evergreen foliage, interesting structure, exfoliating bark, etc.
Garden Photos - Part 46
Thanks Pat! Glad to share. I'm gonna post some more in a few. Just gotta upload the pics from my memory card.
Karen
Thanks everyone - unfortunately my sister lives in South Carolina, so I won't get to see that cutie as often as I see my other nieces
Great pics. We didn't get that much snow. I even got out for a bit and ran to the store. The roads were good
Love the ears in 'Patches #2'
Great snow shots.
Thanks Jan and Anita.
Karen
Great shot, Anita. He sure is a cute little thing.
Karen
Victor I need to borrow that huge weeping tree of yours for our halloween decorations!... very cool
great set of shots NFD
love the birdie Anita
Nice bird shot, Anita. Cool snow series, Karen.
Love the shots of Patches in the snow, the last one is very cute idea, LOL. Nice birdie shot too Anita. They have been loading up since I filled it again this am. Lots of deer tracks all around.
Patches is too cute! Love the floppy ears! My airedale goes out for one minute, & the snow sticks to him like glue! Huge icy globs of snow all over the house! This is my last dale! My pointer comes in & she's just a little damp---one swipe with a towel & she's good to go. Nice snow photos, all---any color is sorely welcomed.
I'm way behind here!
Robin, I agree. I forgot that as well, that there still are regions and why one makes it one place but not the other always seems odd to me. And the Juncos...!! They are very mad at me now as their feeders are under snow where I'm house sitting at. But, they're just going to have to deal with it. I tossed a bunch of seed on top of the snow, they should be ok.
Karen, Patches and his adventures is soooooo cute! What a dog. Great pictures, thanks for the "story" I really like the creek picture.
Victor, I love the frozen pond pictures. That beech tree does look creepy!! Great pictures. My nandina broke under the weight of the snow and is now one quarter is previous height. When the snow melts, and I find the top, I think that I'm going to try to do surgery and put it back together. I've managed that onve before with a katsura tree, seems like it should work with a nandina.
Candyce, what beautiful river there. Definitely avoid the bench.
Ngam.... the same goes for your bench! But, it looks so pretty.
I hope that I didn't miss anyone!
