I'm trying to decorate my tree. Just got the lights on it. Taking a break. My left but-tock is hurting big time. Every time I step pain shoots up my leg into my but-tock. Had a heck of a time shopping so I gave up and came home took pain pill.

Yep... PTL... Lost 15 pounds... now lets see how much I gain back... LOL

Whoa BJ, and you probably didn't weight very much to begin with. After the holidays, I'm hoping to join Curves, cuz I'd like to get my curves back and get rid of these ROLLS......

I've put on a few since I became disabled in April. That's why I enjoyed housekeeping it kept me in shape, now I'm out of shape.....no curves just rolls lol

I actually have rolls too... most of my weight is right around my middle section... tummy fat... but, I never remember when I didn't have rolls there.
I weighed 155 in March... Last week I weighed 140... but I don't recommend getting sick to loose 15 pounds. I'm sure there's better ways. I've never been a dieter... why start one if you can't stick with it?

Edited to say that 11 of those 15 pounds were lost in the last 5-6 weeks when the pains got really bad, and more frequent.

Bj, you don't have 15 pounds to lose. You better find a lot of things to munch on. Please be careful. I wish I could lose some pounds!!!

Well, LK... my favorite munchy at the moment is potato chips and spinach dip...

140 is what I want to get down to. May take awhile, but this is something I really need to do with my arthritis being over weight makes it worse. I think my feet will start feeling better too.

ROFL..I tried calling you around 9ish this am to get an address as I went to the postal shoppe to get a price for shippin to Stacy and forgot her addy so I thought hey I'll call Jaye and get it but no she never answered ROFL...Luckily I remembered the town listed here so that worked.

another idea hit me today too but I couldn't get on at work for some reason....thought was that we cold take the recipes, put them on a web page off of DG and put a link to download the whole file of them saved in MS word or a pdf file. and a picture of the item could be added with it ....but I see we already have a thread now for holiday ones...and yes I am offering to do the work as I do know how to make websites I made mine and I have adobe to make pdf files and I have space on the site mine is on...was a thought

OMG you gals move so quick...

I haven't been feeling well. common cold kickin in. I am just trying to get an apron done!! A basic waist one and a bib kind.
LOL, thought it shouldn't be too hard since the gal Im making it for is a pip squeek!! A size 0 and like 5 foot maybe. LOL, since my brains arn' working that great I'm flipping out on the creation!!!!! Need it for Friday, so got to do it tonight. Then can't find the material I had for it.
Help, help...I'm thinking a gag one like the little one for the soap Like Deborah's...hehehe, lol should fit! Then for the real deal one that will fit her, thats the one iam haveing such big ordeal with.

Hi Debra, You asked about the weekend...Wow, with the exception of catching Breenies cold.It was incredible. Watched not one but 2 Bald Eagles fish for most of the day. Kids played board games and Steve, well my gosh an awsom job on the floor!! it all had to be replaced but, The made it looks as close as the orignial...Looks like it's been there a very long time. I got pictures but again, can't find transfer cord..LOL.

Well... I see if i make it back in a bit, I'm sort wilting and Got to get on this apron....

I had so much fun the last two days!!! Two days of crafting!!!! Yep, just me and the dogs and my sewing machine, and hot glue gun, and wire cutters, and fabric stash, and rolls of ribbon, and rotary cutter ..... he he Have made good progress on the stocking swap project. I hope my swap buddy likes it. Poor Santa didn't get any attention today - it was all sewing all day. Phooey, phooey, phooey - tomorrow is a full day so no crafting. Dentist early in the am, work at med center all afternoon, then birthday dinner with oldest step DS and his fiance' tomorrow evening. Annual physical on Thursday am, then I'm FREE, FREE TO CRAFT AGAIN on Thursday afternoon!!! (sorry, it's the wine)

(that's Brenda's CHOCOLATE lab) He is the reason I first got to know you - do you remember? I didn't know you were now breeding the Cavaliers. The puppies are soooooo cute! Wish I could hold them.

Judy, I'm sorry you got a cold. That's just a bummer. How cool about watching the eagles. Please share photos of the cottage when you can. For Brenda and the other new sistahs, it's 100 years old (is that right? correct me if I'm wrong) and Judy and her DH are renevating it for a summer place.

Cindy, your Reece's cups made me so hungry for chocolate that I sat here with a can of chocolate frosting and a spoon. Nope, not a bite, just sat here with the can and a spoon ...... yeah, right!

LOL, Debra, how do you stay so slim eating chocolate frosting by the spoonful?? Yes Cadbury is a goofy sweetie dog, and of course I still sooooo love the labrador wine stopper you gave me as an engagement gift when you came to Scottsdale and we had lunch together. Here's a pic of Cadbury the chocolate lab (who we lovingly call "goofey doofey"!), sleeping on Daddy's lap, with our boy Cavalier 'Hayden' looking on from the other end of the sofa.

Those peanut butter cups do look so good! Might have to try those!

Wow go to work and look at all I missed...LOL Kim you never have to behave to hang with me and you know that... I can't remember all the names of all of you yet so here goes... I am really glad your dad is doing pretty good and you all have time to catch his clogs before they are to bad... Well give me a few days and I will take up to date ones unless I can find the picture of when Dimmer was here and she was covered with them..LOLOLOL and what a nice person not to mind if 3 slept with us...LOLOLOL What type of job do I have???? Well I work for a Vet and do a little of everything... Worked there for 14 some years and I love my job... Country vet no big head down to earth can be a pain in the butt at times but most times she is a good person to work with... I work Tuesday-Thursday and Sally works on Monday and Friday... Boss (Pravia) works afternoons by herself and also on Sats... Her kids use to fill in but now they are all grown... No computer,copy machine, no printer, no high tech anything except cool surgery things... We were the first in this area to have a laser to do surgery with... We have a machine where you put a scope in a little hole and a tv turns on and you can see almost anything inside... I could have been Grandfathered in years ago as a "Vet Tech" but I don't need the title... I love my job... I see new things all the time... She was my Vet before I worked for her and so what I say now is not because I work for her... She does not have great people skills but her hands were blessed by God when it comes to surgery...
As you can see I am not depressed today... yeah... MIL twin sister is doing pretty good even with the heart attach they are saying she may come home this week so that is good...
I spent the last two hours looking for this toy on line for my GD and son told me it was V-Tech well guess what is it Fisher Price... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I hate to shop as people are not that very friendly and when they start yelling at the lady behind the register I start to boil... So I shop on line ...LOLOLOL Almost done with my shopping... I do have to go out this Friday to buy a few things for some special people for two swaps or trades or just plan old love for all you gals...
Ok my book is over for now as NCIS is on and I get to drool over the lead man...LOLOL

Brenda I doubt you have the goofiest lab. My son got a new lab-chocolate of course-in April and that is the stangest dog. Eats everything is sight, non stop running , jumping and playing. The real problem came when he ate my son's motorcycle helmet. His name is Bob Wallace but his youngest daughter (3 1/2) insists on calling him Bobby Sprinkler--drive her dad up a wall!!! This is his second lab and believe you me this one is showing no signs of settling down yet. Realzie he is still a puppy but wow!!!
