Come to find out, the sister didn't want to paid for taking time off. She wanted to reimbursed for T-Day dinner!!! Hi, I bought you this present. That'll be $42.53, please. Whatever. She's not getting it.

The EE was pretty cheap, too. I paid $13.00 and over at the grocery store, they had it for $20 for a smaller one. I may go back and get some more variegated ones they had.

That's what I don't get. The "official paper notice". What does that mean? She signs it Your sister and her name, on behalf of and she names all of them. She also talks about my "tremendous courage". I only did what I needed to do. I did what Phyllis wanted me to do, what I always said I'd do and not what they wanted me do. They all wanted me to go away, but I didn't, I stayed because Phyllis wanted me to. And they didn't like it. Oh my were they mad when they all found it was me that there when she passed away. They were all snug in their beds (except the oldest boy and his wife who were gone for a really long supper), in their own states in their own beds. They all wanted to know what she said in her last days and I wasn't going to lie to them. I told them what she said. That made them even more mad. It's one of those "if they were there, I wouldn't of been there by myself" kinds of things. It's not my fault they all left their mom to die alone. I guess they never figured I wouldn't leave her bedside, even at the very end. I'm not going to detail it all, but this isn't the first time I've been with someone (or my beloved dog Cricket) when they died, and although it sure ain't easy, it's what I have to do.

Uh..ee? What are ee? Reimbursed for Thanksgiving? Did she have it at her house and she expects her mom to pay for it?

Crissy, what is weather increment day? I've heard of Winter weather advisory or warning or a plain weather advisory, but not weather increment day.

Oh yippee. We have an expected inch of freezing rain tomorrow. That's nice on top of the 5" of snow we had yesterday.

Well shoot, my computer needs to do an update and restart, so I'd better hit send before it's too late.

Terry, EE is Elephant Ear. Officially it's Alocasia x amazonica. Also called African Mask, Amazon Elephant Ear.

We have snow this morning. Very light and small-flaked snow. Isis ran outside and probably wants back in now.

Man I am tired today. I ran around yesterday for 5 hours doing errands. I remember now why I hate shopping. Takes too much energy. LOL. Plus when I went to get gas, they hadn't plowed the lot so it was slushy. I went to turn, ended up going straight and almost hit a minivan. I'm staying home today and looking for jobs online so I don't lose my sanity....again. LOL

Freezing rain is supposed to hit sometime this afternoon here too but it will turn into plain rain after awhile.
