Life is good.
Show us your lights
youve got that right!!!
cute!
Victor, I love the view of the tree looking up. I always have to lay under my tree at least once during Christmas.
We're in the process now of doing the family tree, my hubby and son did a 'man' tree in my son's room-fire trucks, motorcycles and race cars.
My daughter's room has a mini tree with mini ornaments.
Oooh--cute ideas! My 2 yr old grandkid showed me their tree yesterday---a huge concolor fir---told me she put all the lights on! I'll bet she was in bed before DS & DIL tackled one thing! Having a 3, 2, & 7month old (Who can pull himself up & walk holding onto furniture) does not make for happy decorating---just like the kitties, Victor! I babysat at the farm for 4 hours yesterday, & believe me, putting them in the basement sounded like a great idea! Or hiding out there myself!
You are soooo right, RD. We have 3 around the corner 1, 2 1/2 and 4. I know exactly how you feel about going in the basement. But we know we wouldn't trade it for anything. I usually need a nap if I have them all as well as my mom.
Will miss them at Christmas. They are going to the other grandparents in KY.
Mom has a little tree in her room that will suffice for this year. I'm having a hard time getting motivated to decorate.
Thanks, Jen. Yes, Robin, kids present the same problems!
Sorry you will miss the kids at Christmas, Jan---we are having Christmas breakfast at the farm with them, then in the afternoon, my cousin takes about 14 of us to the Mayflower Inn in Washington, CT--that's like a 5 star place, where you see famous people, but I'm so busy chasing the kids, I usually only get to see the sunporch! Last year I had such a headache, I ordered a vegetarian plate--best thing I ever did! I may do the same this year!
Ready kids!... here are our lights for the towns contest.. there are two videos at the end to show you the lights going to the music
