night girls, hope you feel better Jaye and you are not coming down with anything.

UGHHHHHHHHHHH this ball game is making me nervous.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

I am not going to bed, just saying night to those who are. I am up for the long haul.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Nite Jaye, definitely go to bed and get yourself warm and take care. Looks like we all are going to have to come up there an nurse you back to good Sistah health.

So sorry about Kathy's Flower. :-(

BJ, I am still working on my laundry. It does pile up quickly!!!

Nite Laura, have fun doing whatever it is you will de doing.

Oh Debra, that dress is beautiful!! The colors sounds so nice--and so in now!!!

Tia, Tina whatever, take care of those chickie now.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

I am these are my new babies I have NEVER hatched, so these little guys and gals are special to me.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well will waiting to hear all about them tomorrow. I am going to shut down and go finish a project I have going. Then to bed and read a while.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Sorry, Cindy... just had to smell them all again... it's called Christmas Mulberry... simply scrumptious.

BTW... who wants these scents next? I'm ready to send them on to the next sistah... they're Cindy's candle scents...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I do have a lot more sooooooooooooo......................

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Cindy I am sure you explained before but what type of wax do you use? soy? so the scents are water based?

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I got the most awsome centerpiece from Debra (Fleur) on the wreath swap! I've never had anything so beautiful! Now I have to find a place to put it! My table is so tiny, and that's where my Christmas Tree is!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Audrey you can put it in your bedroom, or on a coffee table? Don't have to be your table!
Show us a pic. please?
LK

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone. I got the cutest pair of socks from Stacey yesterday, along with a string of painted christmas lights, and a couple of pressies she says I have to place under the tree.
Thank you so much Stacey. Once again you have gone way above, and beyond your self. This was all not neccesarry, but really appreciated. I can't wait to get my tree up this afternoon, and have your boxes the first ones under it.
Thanks gorl, and big (((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) coming your way.
So now the socks are back on my feet, and nice and warm for sure.

Thank you Niece!
A very nice surprise indeed, and I love it.
Linda Kay

PS I have the coffee going for you all when you wake up.

Good morning!
Awesome Audrey! (hey..that's a coincidence..)
Your beautiful arrangement to celebrate your b'day as well. Yep, we need pics.. you know how we are imagination impaired! Got to see things!!
So... Maid M..... are you still denying you're my swap buddy :D
Thanks for the coffee LK. I sure need it this morning.
Slept like a baby last night..took some Benadryl and a couple of Tylenols. Hope the sniffles and sneezing go away today. Cindy, I am always forgetting to take my vitamins. I'm already taking 8 pills a day, one more added to the cocktail won't hurt!
Stacey, you are such a sweetheart for making your Auntie LK happy!!
BTW, did Janice get her sewing machine back? I know she's itching to get back to her quilting.

I am faced with a dilemna here. Any of you Sistahs and Nieces know how to price a gently used, Louis Vuitton Takashi Murakami multicolored large satchel (16X12)? Then there's another large, brand new LV TM satchel. They both have their dust bags. One Coach bag, one Dooney & Burke 'basket' tote and a brand new Furla.
I have compared prices on eBay. My gf from Houston wanted me to sell them for her on eBay. She don't trust those ebay outlets :(
The most expensive purse I have is Yves St. Laurent... and I inherited that from my late mum :D
So, when it comes to high end stuffs... I'm just a Walmart specialist!!

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Good morning, yummy coffee. Stayed up late watching the football game.

We have 10 babies now and more trying to hatch.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I would do what you are doing and price them against the others on Ebay...orrrr you could show them to us and let us bid first!!LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Can't help you there. I carry the best of Wal mart, or maybe one on sale from JC penneys all so. I just can't see spending that much for a purse, or a tote! Just not my thing.

Yah Tina-Tia, that was the most 'scoringest' football game Kel had ever seen, from both teams. He had to wake me up to tell me about it!!

Yah, I think I'll do just that Niece, starting bid around $300 :( I was surprised how much the smaller used bags went for..especially in a recession. Kel's groaning right now. We have 100% feedback, and he's afraid, selling something so subjective like these may give us our first negative. Then when we do sell, it's always bible study aids.
Lolol!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, those are too cute!! I'm sure more coming your way!!

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

yes it was a scoring game. I was worried at the 1st quarter, It seemed OU didnt show up to play, then 2nd quarter it turned around. Now just waiting for the polls to come out to see who plays where.

Here is my recipe for the No-bake white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake..ENJOY!
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
• 1 pound cream cheese, at room temperature
• 2 cups pure pumpkin puree

• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups white chocolate, chopped
• 2 cups heavy cream

PREPARATION: Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 9-inch cake pan (or springform pan). Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees.

Using the paddle attachment of a stand mixer, beat the cream cheese and remaining 1 cup sugar until completely smooth. Add the pumpkin, sour cream, pumpkin pie spice and salt to the cream cheese. Mix until smooth, scraping the bowl occasionally.

Melt the chocolate on half power in the microwave, stirring occasionally until totally melted. Add the white chocolate to the mixer all at once and mix on high until incorporated.

In a large mixing bowl, with electric mixer, whip the heavy cream to medium peaks and fold into the batter and pour into the prepared pan. Freeze the cheesecake overnight.

If using the 9-inch cake plate, put the frozen cheesecake on the burner of a gas stove over a low flame for 30 seconds. Invert the pan onto a cutting board and tap the bottom until the cake comes out. Invert onto a plate and let thaw in the cooler for 3 hours before cutting. If using springform pan, unsnap ring and let thaw in the refrigerator for 3 hours before cutting.

Morning Ladies !!! hey, Day 7... it's stranger than fiction, huh?

I made lots of headway yesterday getting things done around here that I let go while I was sick, and today I hope to get some of it finished. Don will be home tonight, and he doesn't have a clue I've been cleaning... poor baby has a bad cold, and he's soooo miserable working in the coldest part of the country right now. But, he'll be back in the sunshine for a few days, so he'll start feeling better as soon as he gets back to Texas.

Mmmmm.... that recipe looks scrumptious. I still have cheesecake in the fridge from T'giving... but when it's gone, I'll have to try that. Thanks Blue Lady.

So, LK... you're going to need a new sock drawer soon. You can't possibly hang all those socks on the display board you got from Cindy.

Me too, Jaye... I've never owned a purse that cost more than $10 brand new in my life. Haven't a clue how to price something like that.

More Coffee.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lisa, when's your birthday. I read that you love to go to antique shops and flea markets.. any specific collections?
Anyway, your name's on the roll!

smalltown, IL

My Birthday is 6-11

I love looking but haven't started collecting but more then willing to start..

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh my, cheesecake for breakfast! Thanks, Lisa!

Jaye, I thought for sure LSU won the game Friday but, like a typical Ark-LSU game, it was a nail biter to the end. Arkansas needed that win so badly.

I'm determined to work on my Santa today. Have had -0- time to do it before now.

Sistahs, I need your advice. Here are the bride's gown and the bridesmaid dress (shown in black but ours will be choc brown with pink under lay). Flowers will be mixed pink.

What colors do you think would look good for the mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom? I'm a pale face with light colored hair and Rhonda is more olived toned with dark brown hair. We could definitely do different shades of brown or pink or maybe even gold?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Debra... I'm definitely NOT a fashion queen... my family has even threatened to call the fashion police on me several times... but, since your pale, I would think you should wear chocolate brown with pinks as an accent... and Rhonda should wear a lighter brown or gold with shades of pink to contrast. Early spring weddings are really nice because you can get by with almost any color combo.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

The bride from "Platinum Wedding".. Brown over ecru..similar design to your daughter's bridesmaid gown.. well, she carried orange bouquet.. and had orange flowers as centerpieces.
Shades of pink leading to mauve will be very pretty!! Urghhh.. I said the P word!!!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

He he .... I keep hearing about those 'fashion police' but have never known of anyone to be arrested yet!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Jaye, is Platinum Wedding a movie? I'm not too up on movies.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Just don't do orange!! It was tacky.. She's a tanned bride, and orange against tanned skin somehow remind me of Burger King!!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I was thinking fern green.....with some other accent colors

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Platinum Weddings are tv specials, showing extravagant weddings costing more than a million dollars. I'm more interested in the food they served!! Lol!!

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Stacey, green was one of the colors we considered for the bridesmaid dress. DD originally wanted pink and green (she had to 'work through it') but, after looking at a few, did the same thing she did with her gown - ended up with something completely different and MUCH prettier. Green would be a good option for moms.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Over a million dollars????? OMG! Wonder how many of the marriages lasted more than 2 years?

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Here are the babies so far
