Oh my BJ, good thing you don't live very close to me or the cross might go missing. It would fit perfectly in my collection!! So very nice!!!!

Ladies, I won't mention any names here but some of our sistahs can real "cutthroats" when they get into a swapping big time!! You were a hoot during the Secret Santa. Hope every one survived okay and all are still friends. LOL Do have a little Bailey's left if any need it.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

The angel birdfeeder from Collections? Wasn't there one in the Secret Santa Swap?

Hurrry open the Christmas Fairy Swap!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh no, I guess I missed that! That looked like it was confusing at times but enjoyable.
Did Jaye survive? I had to give up on my ballgame--between the downpour and the score it got to depressing. Oh well it will be Alabama vs Florida next weekend I guess so I will have to help Sistah Kathy.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Oh yea who got that?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Oh yes it did get confusing...but it worked out o.k. and it was a blast

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Laura got the feeder....

Monday Auntie M;) Maybe tomorrow if I have some time-got to do laundry, take down thjanksgiving stuff and start getting XMas stuff up ya know;)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

It did sound like everyone was having fun. Had I have know it would be a downpour today and we couldn't do what we had planned then I think I would have joined. It sure was fun reading the actions.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye was very quite thru the whole thing

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Understand about that Tink. I am working on my laundry today between reading the Secret Santa goings on and some other things. This weather though is making me sleepy. I mean tell you we are getting some rain!!!

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Happy Late Birthday Audrey and Brenda!

Marion, it’s been a bunch of little things. Sage was sick, I had the 2 year old and he got up early, we got a new computer and were trying to transfer the data on the old computer (which made the old and new computer unuseable and made the internet unuseable on the laptop.), then there is the secret Santa items, Thanksgiving, stuff I didn’t want to deal with but had to, etc… I’ll be back on regularly now.

Linda, the mooing Turkey cartoon was great.

Lisa, welcome to the list, I don’t know about the swap, but never too late to join the conversation.

Here’s what I got. I though the secret Santa was a lot of fun and defiantly no hard feelings here. I considered stealing when my turn came up, but it the game had been so long.

The feeder was from Robyn btw.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

This is what I got from Laura, I can not wait they are soooooooooo pretty.

We had fun. When all the stealing was under way boy was I confused. We made it tho.

Thanks Laura.

Oh so you are the lucky one who got the angel feeder. I had seen that in the catalog and it looked so cute. Laura, just take it one step at a time. Seem like it is a slow day for everyone--but isn't that typical following a holiday?

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Tia, Tina Whatever, I didn't see the pictures of those--must have missed it--they are lovely. I would guess she made them also. Such talent!!!

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Welcome abroad Lisa...where bouts are you from Rockford??? We moved down here from Belvidere a year ago.

Yes Yes Linda it is .....BJ that's the name of it the Haight Asbury..I have several starts rooting now I need to get into pots yet.

I noticed Deborah has not posted here in a few days. Does anyone know how her aunt is doing?

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

You are right Cindy. The last post said she would be staying with her Aunt at night. My heart is breaking for her--that is really hard --been there.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

What is wrong with her?

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Welcome Lisa! We will look forward to you sharing some of your recipes!

BJ, sure sounds like a fun day yesterday. Yeah, if the breeder told customers the pigs got around 100# he would never sell any! Never seen a pot-bellied pig only 35#. Maybe he bred them with Chihuahuas?

Cindy, that granny is precious! You are really talented.

Can't wait to pop over to the Secret Santa thread. Sounds you gals had a lot of fun.

While you were swapping, I was shopping with DD and her bridesmaid to make a final decision on the bridesmaid dress. WE DID IT! Thank goodness there is only one attendant. That made it much easier. But, I'm still exhausted. The dress is a chocolate brown and pink strapless with a lace overlay on the bodice. Sounds odd, but it's very pretty. Maybe I can find it on the maker's website.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Yes Jaye stole it from me but I got the coasters so all is good. I need coasters I have a glass top on my coffee table, so will come in handy.

I am making these for my Secret Santa buddy, this is not the fabric I am using, I am waiting on her to tell me the colors and theme she wants. The top is the place mats and the bottom is the apron.

Nice work, Tina! Your buddy will love them.

Here's DD's bridesmaid dress. The photo is of black and pecan. Hers will be chocolate brown and pink underneath.

Very pretty Debra, when is the wedding?

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

I need to decide what I'm wearing to my BIL's wedding this summer. I not involved in the wedding, but I still need something nice to wear. I'm thinking of making a Chinese style coat and pants.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Cindy. It's March 21st. We had to get a dress ordered today because it takes 3-4 months for delivery then time for alterations. We are cutting it close - even when paying the extra charge to have it in 6 weeks. I don't like waiting until the last minute.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I know what you mean. My first wedding I had 5 brides maids. Same style dress but each a different pastel color. Had to have one made though for my neice then she dropped out so then I asked my cousin so then they had to alter the dress to fit her. Picked it up the day before the wedding.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Debra, I saw that same dress in Platinum Wedding! But it was brown on white, and had a two tiered skirt, where after the wedding, she removed the lower tier, and it transformed into a mini. I bet that bride paid thousands for it!
You know why I was quiet throughout most of the swap, Cindy? I was busy praying no one steals that Granny when Tina picked it!!!

Sis Kathy called just to humiliate me.. again... y'all know that Alabama won, right, football sistahs?
Her little Flower died.. and she said that the dogs were chased off by the guineas!! Lol.. guineas make good yard dogs with all the noise they make!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Kathy's little Flower? what was Flower?

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

her Turkey baby, I am so sorry. I have babies hatching now chickens tho, and I had to rescue one already and 30 more to go. Gonna be a long night.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Hard to keep track, isn't it, Cindy?

Well, I'm almost caught up with the laundry... and about half way caught up with all the other housework... but for today... I'm exhausted.

Debra... good choice... that is such a beautiful brides maid dress.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

OH how sad.

Yep BJ, and it takes too long to go back over the threads. But I don't remember even reading about her naming it. Oh and did you pick out your favorite candle scent yet?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I think Flower was a chickie chick? Well, she'll clarify that Monday for us.

That's dedication Tina-Tia, to stay up with your eggs! I know I can't do that.

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Well I think I'm off for the night, more or less, I'm all caught up and have other things that I want or need to do. See you all tomorrow.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Sistahs, I've been sneezing all day long! Starting to have the chills now. Had my flu shot a month ago, so I shouldn't be having the flu..
I'll just head for the bed early tonight.
Good night dear ones.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye, you stop that!! Take some V-C
