Tia Tina, don't they sort of instinctively find cover when it rains?

Welcome new sistah, Brenda. Do not believe anything you have read here or heard from Debra about us being enablers!! It just isn't so--BTW, when do you want to learn to quilt? Happy Birthday, enjoy every second of it.
Happy Birthday to you too, Audrey. Are you still traveling or home yet?
BJ what wonderful news--that is better than most anything I can think of at the moment. Hurting can wear you down!!
Don't the overjoyed dance Jaye for your niece. Now exactly what do you mean the terrible 2's? I thought it was the 3's. LOL Just basing it on my youngest GD.
Well Tia, Tina, Whatever, we are getting the rain, at times really hard and I don't know if I have just not noticed or everything turned colorful over night. My Japanese Maple that was planted for mine and hubby's 44th anniversary is a beautiful crimson red this morning. Ah, such beauty!!!! Brought tears and joy all at the same time. Do I need to gather up tarps for your babies to keep them dry?
Where is Chickie Momma? Probably pacing gun in hand --just hope she has the depends!!!
Cindy, and I thought you loved us!! LOL So you too think we are enablers? I really am having a hard time with that concept. Noooooooooo, none of us would do that to anyone.
Judy, enjoy the cottage--oh how much fun it must be to slip away like that!! Pictures of what you are doing please!!
Sending hugs and waving to all I missed--need to run do a very quick errand and will come back later!!!
OOOHH Thanks for the idea Cindy!!!!! Sage and I want to make one for her Grandpa....he is a commercial fisherman.....and she is very excited about the idea of making him a fishing Santa!!!
YOU!!! Goodie I'm glad I could help.....counting the hours, minutes, and seconds till Secret Santa.........................
Me too.............!!!! It is going to be fun!!!!!
Trisha,
How much do you know about cameras? I have an old Olympus OM-1 35mm, it belongs to my brother. But I don't know anything about it.I want to learn to use it.
Happy Birthday Brenda and Audrey!!!
Afternoon girls
Welcome to the group Brenda glad you hopped on over but keep the snow up there I like no snow in Texas much better then all the snow we had in Illinois when we lived up there LOL
got all the dishes and roaster cleaned up and put away from the left overs that were down to smaller size bowls and made some turkey salad to use some of it up ...oh maybe I should call it tuducken salad LOL.
DH finally put the phone jack under the computer desk this morning so while he did that I opened up the tower and gave it a good cleaning.
Bj it has been raining here since sometime early this morning with tim4es of heavy down pours then slacks off ..it may have quit for now but still cloudy out.
Glad to hear you are still pain free too and LK take care of that foot too next Ru I expect to see you running ROFL
now off to do some work on a project LOL
Thanks Phyllis, I was going to look that up for Cindy because I don't know if I still have the manual for mine or not......haven't used it in a very very long time.....may have to see if I can dig it out......
Thanks, Phyllis
I saw the first one wasn't helpful, but the second link is. I bookmarked it Thanks again
no problem I was here and saw the post and did a quick search LOL glad the manual one helps.
Jaye, are you there? Watching the game? What a terrible sistah I am not to invite you to go to the game. It's right here in Little Rock. This is one time I have to root against you. At least LSU has a 7-4 season while the Hogs had a pathetic 4-7 season.
TOUCH DOWN, ARKANSAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The score is Arkansas 13 - LSU 3 right now.
Edited to say: Make that Arkansas 14. Oh how they need a win.

May I have your attention please. Our mailman just went through, and to my surprise, I got an envelope from dimmer/kim/flamingo kim! It has the cutest pair of christmas socks, complete with bells, and even little characters on each little toe.
Kim they are so cute, and thank you so much. They will go with the rest of the collection.
I love my jingle socks!!!
Thank you very much, and I do hope you are feeling better, now that you are home, and have time to rest.
((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))
Linda Kay
Oh How Cute,Santa and his reindeer on your toes lol
^_^
LK
I love your socks!!! Those are really cute Linda Kay.
Cindy, you should be getting a package around the first of the week!! Just hope nothing is broken. I did pack it in lost of stuff so everything would arrive in one piece.
Oh my, a ball game on today? Funny, I haven't even checked. The big state game is here tomorrow with rain predicted! Should ba a wet soggy mess for sure.
Trisha, you and Laura aren't the only ones who braved Michael's today. Kim and I went but to our surprise, traffic wasn't bad and the store wasn't very crowded. Some really good crafting sales--provided you do the crafts. Stopped by Joanne's also and their sale is unbelievable!!! By far the best sale I have been to in a while. Yeap, bought stuff---nope no fabric!! Please don't faint sistahs --just needed other things--notions mostly.
I feel faint ........ LOL!
Sending smelling salts!!!
Oh my gosh, you went to a fabric shop, and bought no fabric??? Are you Ok, you running a fever? LOL
No shopping here today. Not after I heard of someone getting killed in NY at a wal mart, then a lady pregnant lady at the same store, that was injured in the stampede, had a miscarriage, and lost her baby. How sad is that. Someones life is more important than saving a few dollars?
Hope you all have a wonderfull week-end.
LK
adorable socks LK !!!!
I stayed home it's rained all day and even though I need to go to hobby lobby for some fabric I figure it can wait a few days as the weekend is gonna be nasty shopping time for crowds
LK, those socks are adorable!!
Yes, I'm back.. but not LSU!! :( Debra, your team certainly deserves the win. AND that umpire deserves a good dinner too.. :D Lol!!
Maid M., there's no way you didn't buy any fabric? I can't pass by a good fabric sale. You have will power lady.
Didn't go to any stores, had company in and out, all day long. Cooked some beef curry and screamed at the telly, shocking company!
Yep, LK, so sad how fun shopping can turn into a war zone with fatal casualties.
I'm with you Phyllis. Never cared for snow, even though they make nice scenic pix.
Marion? No Fabric?????????
Jaye, we were talking at dinner last night and my son wants to know if you have some good Curry recipes.....they love curry but Lisa can't eat anything too spicy?
Sorry all, I love snow....love it, love it, love it!!!!!!! (As long as I don't HAVE to be out in it!!!)
Of course Trisha! What would he like to try. Original Indian curries are very spicy, so are the Malays and Indonesians. Curries from Pakistan are rich and aromatic. Then there's Thai curries that are a little sweet. You also have Cambodian curries and West Indies curries. Then there's the bland Chinese curry.. you got the pic. Lol!! I bet your son's shaking his head after reading this reply.
All these different curries have different spice mixes. Spices are concocted according to the meat used in the dishes.
Now how can you say you love it, when you don't like to tread in the snow!!!
Time for a new room..
new room sistahs..
