Amen Deborah.. for Aunt Lisa to have her own room, that means she's out of extreme danger, and having a family member with her all the time, will give her some comfort too besides the support. Of course we won't stop praying for her. And our sistahs are right, you got to watch out for yourself too.

Marion, you are right. There are two kinds of suede, the real hide suede and faux suede, which is normally made of fabric which isn't recommended for footwear.
LK, smart sistah.. space out those pain pills. I was at one time reaching for the ceilings!!! Todd is another good nurse :)
Seems you don't have enough time to unwind for yourself Debra. Your swap buddy who happened to be a sistah, I'm sure wouldn't mind being delayed in getting her wreath. Like I say, you can't hurry perfection! You make sure to take extra vitamins, with all your busy schedules, don't want you to collapse from exhaustion.

Hi All Still working BUT I have the Day off rain and snow I am so happy still have no idea when I will be layed off I sure hope its thusday so I can go out in the crowded the day after Turkey day. Have no idea what I will do I used to have thanksgiving at my house in Michigan But now my house is so small Its hard and that was my favorited day and christmas watchng the Kids open gift. I am just about done now so the big part is the wrapping.

Well I did it I booked a trip with my sister for Couzmel Mexico for 7 day all inclusive we leave Jan 10th I better be off by then It was a deal that you couldnt refuse 1000.00. I will starve just to go Hahaha. No I have been saving Money so I could travel over the winter so when I saw that I told her we were going and It looks great the Hotel we are sating at is called Iberostar in cozumel they are only 300 room and each have hammock and table and chairs on the deck and they look like huts no high rise bulding the best part is the bar in the pool I just can't wait
OK for my excitment is eveyone doing ok I miss you guys

Well then Kim, that is certainly good news for us!! We can all vacation at Cozumel thru' you!! Definitely, Marion will pick the hammock.. and I'll opt to lay on the beach.. Stacey and Cindy will head for the bar :D
We just have to bring a case of Ensure for Sistah BJ!
That's wonderful Kim. Make sure you won't forget to bring an extra disk for your digital camera, or have one with lots of memory!!

Thanks Jaye... your prayers were answered, because I feel so much better today. I do believe it was the spices the night before that did me in yesterday... AND after all that, I weigh a pound MORE this morning... home scales can be off a bit... so, that's not as bad as it sounded yesterday.
After spending the day in bed, and actually taking a nap, I did sleep all night... so, was just one of those "one day" things.

Enough about me... on to Deborah's aunt... how's she doing now? I know when my mom was put in a private room, she also had to have 24/7 sitter... and she started getting better really really fast. Let us know Deb.

OOOOO Cosumel? How fun... you're going to have to take lots of pics, and share with us when you get back home.

morning all. the auction went good. I got more birds but one of my daughters ran over the hen last night. poor thing, had not figured out where her bed was and was behind my daughters car. Going to another auction tonight. Gonna go mainly to see if I can get the boys there to make me a brooder so i can have these chicks outside.

Linda Kay, morning, I am doing just fine. I just get tired as the day goes by. That is the usual way it is after I have had a bout with sinus. Up and have a pot of mustard greens cooking already. Kim's school (daughter) is having a fund raiser selling smoked pork chop dinners so she will be bringing most of dinner home tonight. I have it really easy today with cooking. Good thing!!

Kathy, put the gun down!!! Come inside and let us know how things are going.

Trisha and Laura, been missing you!! Sorry to hear about all the car breakins. I remember when I lived in Gainesville we didn't dare leave anything unlocked. Don't have a problem like that here thank goodness. Of course we are further out and in a more secluded area.

Debra, time to slow down a little--we are missing you. I know you are busy preparing for all your company but that doesn't stop us from missing you!!! I bought our turkey and I almost went into shock!! Only a 12 lbs. this year--a first for me. Usually I prepared the turkey for the entire gang and it is more like 22 plus if I can find one that size. Just the 2 of us this year so far.

Thank you, Janice. That was so cute! I really needed a smile. Have been bawling like a baby the last 10 minutes. I got a dmail 10 minutes ago with an offer from another DGer to take Woody and give him the kind of home I've been praying for. Huge property - 15,000 acres - other dogs, lots of activity, and dogs sleep inside. I broke down (doing it again right now). It sounds perfect - now I have to decide if I can give him up. This sounds so stupid. I started a thread to find him a home and now that it's offered I don't want to give him up. But, I know that's what would be best for him. Sorry to be such a ninny.

Will be gone most of the day. Will try to come back without tears. Maybe by then I can 'put my big girl panties on' and deal with it! LOL!

Oh Debra, that is a perfectly normal reaction. One I am sure most of us who have or had pets have gone through. Sending a great big hug your way and a tissue. Let it go and have a good cry--makes you feel better. I know had I have lived where I could have Woody I certainly would have offered as I think he is adorable. Running away and all.

...Hi Jaye, Thank you, I didn't go to cottege this weekend, DH went. I gave him camera and he forgot! to take pictures...Geesh, now I am going this weekend so I will take photos. I am looking forward to it too, because we now have a working stove, hahha...like in the kitchen!! LOL, so gathered up cooking supplies.

This weekend I wasn't feeling the greatest, so spent the entire day Sat, in pure laze mode. LOL, didn't even feel quilty either. Kids were a bit worried, lol, not used to seeing me unbusy. Then yesterday had a full day of stuff I didn't bother with on Sat.
OH well it all got done...This week I'll keep busy with packing for the weekend and getting ready for Thanksgiving. Woohoo got a half day on Wednesday.

I hope you all had a busy, and good healthy weekend.

Hello there, sorry to hear your under the weather also. Guess it is just that time of year. Have a great ime at the cottage.
I am doing much better today. So far no pain pills. Foot is tollerable, so I just keep going. Side effects of pain pills can be worse than helping part. I get really scared watching the medication commercials. Take this pills to help you with your cholesterol, side effects may cause heart failure!!! Geesh, I think I would rather have high cholesterol?

My sister have been keeping me in their prayers this morning for sure.. Just back from the appointment and all is going to be fine! Whewwww I feel like I can breath again, actually cried at the office -- I need my big girl panties tooo.. The mortgage company wrote off the sedond mortgage completely and if modifying our other and adding an escrow account for taxes & insurance... Sending a payment Overnight to show good faith and then we begin the paperwork for the modification (which started in the pc today).. The gentleman who was helping us said he has never seen anything happen like it did today! Whewww cant stop smiling knowing we are getting to keep our home. That was all Max and I wanted.. Looks like we have alot to be thankful for this year.. I have said it before and I will say it again " If you can Dream it you can Do it " .. Thank you all for your prayers it not over yet but we got a major push in the right direction today...


Got a ton of phone calls to make so I will be back on in a bit..

Oh Kathy and Tia how exciting. New babies!! Tia how could ever think about cooking one you have raised. LOL Just teasing--my dad raised beef cattle which my sister and I named when they were calves. Still enjoyed that steak!!!

LK, Lola, the baby, has a serious ear infection. Then Ali, the oldest one, is having kidney problems. We do go overboard with our pets always running to the vet at their slightest discomfort..
