I am here now. I am alright. It really hurts to comb my hair and it feels very bruised on my head, but otherwise I am OK. No issues with pupils in the night, and I have not walked into any walls again! I'm staying out of trouble today. Can't afford 2 accidents in one weekend!
Great new. Just be careful-----yell that coming from miss accident going some place to happen. LOL
Well I'm about to go feed the chickens. Limited accident potential there, I believe. Famous last words of course...
Just got back in from feeding and watering. Great to see you are up and around today CMoxon! I was a bit worried for you. Wren107, good to see you this morning again. You can give good warning about being carful since you have had a lot of experience in accidents. You can tell us what NOT to do. Just Kidding! You really had me giggling last night! :D!
That's good I learned long time ago it make most anything better if you can laugh about it.

I can't believe the accidents you had to share! Sheesh! be careful lady! :-)
I try but that is only a small number of the accidents in this house. LOL
I think my children are accident prone. They are always covered in bruises. I feel like people look at me as the culprit. Just last week my lil guy did a face plant in the bark chips out back and got a terrible bloody nose from it. Now he has a big scratch under the other nostril.
Earlier in the year, he had a run in with a wooden box (the box won) and he had to have 7 stitches across the bridge of his nose! ugh That nose sure is going to have character!
One of my nephews kept getting his hand caught in doors. What can I say it's in the family!!!!!!
Well I fed the chickens, goats, llamas and sheep and spent some time talking to them. I love to talk to my animals, that's not just cuz I got a bump on the head! I have a sort of dull ache there, and it still hurts to touch, but no dizziness spells or anything. Thanks all for your good advice and for being worried for me. It's nice to have an extended virtual family!
I had 3 eggs this morning already so hopefully that bodes well for today!
OH! Claire my dear friend i wish i had of been here when you had your accident i would have told you to go to the ER for and examination. I was so upset reading your post and thinking please go to the ER I"M SO GLAD YOUR OKAY!!!! Head injurie's even if you assume their minor should be seen by a doctor and have and xray just to be sure theres not something you can't see.
Please go today or tommarow and have a doctor make sure it's okay haveing the dizzieness and the running into the wall did not sound good!
OH!! Please if you feel funny or dizzy or just feel out of sorts go to the hospital and get checked!

My daughter and I were out making snow angels two years ago. Steph was laying in hers so I pulled her up by her arms so she wouldnt wreck it. When I pulled her up her arm (elbow) dislocated. I did not even know what was wrong. I stayed with my other child at home. My DH took her to the urgent care center. She told the doctor "MOMMY did it!" I cant imagine what went through their minds at that point. She had nurse maids elbow. (under development in that area) She is fine now. Gotta love those moments. :)
I know the feeling. DH is a stay at home dad, he took him to urgent care for the nose. He looked right at the check-in staff and said, "daddy did it". I was thoroughly questioned by the doctor's staff before they were statisfied that it really was an accident.
Later he told someone *I* bit him. ;-)
I never take chances with anything i would rather go to the ER and find out it's nothing than sit at home trying to convince myself everything is okay.
Well, That is the "safe than sorry" thing. It is a good philosophy to live by. Unfortunately, I do tend to wait too long. Hence the emergency back surgery mentioned earlier. Will I ever learn?

Well I don't have anybody to blame this one on! I really am feeling fine though - dull throb where the board hit, but otherwise fine. Thank you for worrying about me Harmony - you are such a sweetheart. If I feel the least bit worse or dizzy or anything, I will be sure to see my doctor tomorrow. I just spent a couple of hours outside planting bulbs. It is surely the last nice day of the year. 44 degrees and sunny. I was happy to be out puttering. I planted my bulbs from the bulb swap (the DG fall bulb swap). Now I'm waiting for Kelly to come home (he's been out looking at a tractor that we might buy) and we'll go dig the remaining potatoes and plant the garlic where the potatoes were.

I was out last night to the sale and bought 5 new Shield Owls and 6 Fawn Duckwing Chicks.
Got out bid on some really nice Tumblers and a real nice white fantail with black wings i was going to bid on some wyandotes but figured they would go way over what i wanted to pay.
Good news my Diamonds have another egg expecting a second one tomarrow haven't touched them and if they abandon this one i'm selling them.
Diamonds? Are these owls? I do love ducklings! I saw the video of the one following its owner. Can you say, AWWWWWWWW! Now I want one or two.
So I finished the enclosure off of my hen house today. Now I can rest more easily they will be safe while we are out of town for Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures...

Yah, its wrought iron. Isn't it cute?!? I just love it. I had planned to put it on the side of the coop, but now the paneling breaks up the view. So I thought it might look good hanging out by their outdoor waterer. ;-)
You were right. It looks great! They are spoiled chicks! Is the waterer a heated one? Just curious. I dont have a heated one yet. I do have a heat lamp hanging over it. Pier 1 has the cutest stuff. I love it when they have sales! ;D
Yes, that was the best part -- it was on clearance! I think I got it for $5-$7. ~;-D No, I don't have a heated waterer. We don't get more than a week or so of freezing here. I'll look into options when it gets colder.
