Yucky day! Went on a field trip with my son's class to Liberty Science Center. Here's the lady.
Hard to get a decent shot of the moving fish in the big tank, but I like the creepiness of this one.
My niece's kids were at Liberty Science Center this week for a forensics class.

Wow.........and I thought WE had it chilly down here!! LOL You guys are making me cold!! I had to wear a jacket when we walked just after sunset tonight. It was on the chilly side all day today, so it looks like the entire east coast is "enjoying" the cool weather. These days down here are the perfect gardening days with the cool temps and low humidity, but I've spent the last 3 mornings doing all the routine medical check-up stuff and haven't gotten outside much at all. On Monday I'll be done after the blood work and I can then get back to gardening. At the moment it is 71 degrees with 33% humidity. Molly is doing so much better now and she likes the cooler weather. I actually had to put a sweater on her this morning because her thyroid still isn't all the way back to normal. I put her in the wicker chair on the porch and made her pose for a shot. Of course she didn't like it at all, but she obliged. I wanted to send her new NH vet a photo so he could see how much better she is doing, so I'm sharing it with you all too. LOL
Great to hear that about Molly, Louise. But I don't think she wanted her photo taken at that moment!

I have to agree with Victor, she was not into the photo-op..lol. But what a cutie! Just remind her that you could still be in the NE and 3 sweaters would be on her just to keep warm! Then she will understand what good pet parents she has!!

Thanks, Karen. No, it was some huge fish - don't know exactly what. It does resemble a ray because of the side fin and the lighting / blurriness.
Molly looks like she doing better..even if she didn't want her picture taken. lol
It's 21 right now and still dropping. (Boo hoo)
Victor, I know how hard it is to get pics of fish in aquariums. I have tried many times, and most attempts come out blurry. I have gotten some reasonably passable ones now and then.

That's nice. If I had brought my new camera, with its high-speed, I would have been able to get more good shots. I did not want to lug it though - especially when I had to watch hyper kids!

Currently 30 with some snow showers. Enough to cover the deck a bit. The flakes are becoming closer to rain though now, since the temp is warming up a bit.
A woodpecker has been frequenting mom's birdfeeder lately.
