Oh my gosh, Sophie is so cute!
I've been following this thread with great interest. I used to have two white "house rabbits" (Rebecca and Collette). They can be easily house-trained (much easier than dogs) onto newspapers--didn't try a litter-box but don't see why not. I used to walk mine on a halter-leash. They are very cuddly--the only surprise was when one would decide to get down from my lap, and would spring off with those powerful hind legs: ooooff!
New addition......
Emily, Sophie is very cuddly..loves to crawl up under your chin and sit there.
She is soooooooooo cute!
Thanks Yank, im really enjoying her.
I can tell. :)
And how is the darling little bun-bun today?
Great! She just peed on me!! lol Plumbing works fine!!!!!
Oh Celeste!
That's funny and awful all at the same time!
Mostly funny - how much can the holding tank of a 5 ounce bunny be? (Easy for me to say; I'm two states away!!!)
Ummmmm, I WAS suprised!
very cute little bunny!
Yes. Such a sweet-looking bunny. She / he gets more adorable every day.
saw this late - i would have cast multiple votes for Katadin
I think Sophie is a beautiful name. Katadin is the end of the line for most hikers (90% start from the South) and a trudge when you have walked over two thousand miles. If you start from Springer MT in March and end up at Katadin in Sept. or Oct., well...what does that have to do with sweet, fuzzy, warm rabbits? Katadin is freezing by the end of the AT hike (if you have done it).

She looks great, Celeste. We used to have two lops. How did you find out the right baby diet for Sophie? I don't remember how we managed that.

I emailed a few DG'ers, asked the vet and read up on it on line.
It was almost like home work! lol
I went back to look at the date of the first Sophie post. Not even two weeks. Look at what a big girl she is now! I can't believe it Celeste! You'll never give her up. Maybe the DGK's will get visitaion rights. lol
Laurel
Don't look now, but I think that bunny has got you wrapped around those little paws! :^)
I think your both right....visitation rights and I'm wrapped. DH is even more so..first thing he does when he walks thru the door is say "Where's Sophie?" no hi dear, ect... anymore!! lol
Awww pixie you have such a good heart! I love seeing all the photo's on how your nutured the bunny back to health....just look at all that love she is getting and how fast she is growing. High five pixie!!! Good job!
Hi Dawn!! Where ya been at??
HIgh 5 back at ya, and thank you!!
Sweet, sweet, sweet!!!
Are we sure yet that Sophie is actually a girl??
If she isn't, she'll have to get a sex change operation at this point!
Or he'll just have to be comfortable with his masculinity and deal with being a little fluffy white ball of fur named Sophie. Anyone got a problem with that?!!
Thats the question Brian will be asking as he puffs out his chest and thumbs his little fur ball friend. lol
LOL!!!
Didn't Johnny Cash write a song about that called a boy named Sophie or was it a boy named Sue??
Unfortunately it was Sue....but there could of been a Sophie somewhere too! lol
I know a boy named Shirley when I was in grade school.
Really? I knew a Kim and a Jody.

DD has a housemate named Bradley. She's a very pretty, feminine, petite she, though she is a serious hunter.
Maybe Sophie Sue in case she's a boy? lol All our animals have "Sue" as a middle name. I won't get into it now, but we have Buddy Sue, Purrly Sue, Goober Sue and Pepper Sue. I use both names when discipline is due. So Sue me!
L
My airedale's middle name is Hood---I, too, yell, Robin Hood! Which is very often! He is very hoody, but at least he does things in front of me--my female pointer is sneaky! So---Sophie needs a middle name---how about Bobtail--just in case she's a he!
Tucker.
Love it Victor! Bet there are not a lot of people who know who she was though. :^)
Perfect, Victor!! LOL
