It's like an antique car, it doesn't get out much... this broom...it does have the initials BBB as proof of ownership.. (little micro chips embedded the broom ain't an antique) it is in tip top performance condition.. it isn't a witchey woman broom...the last two B initials are for Bonnie's Broom.. I'll let ya figure out what the FIRST letter stands for.. like I said, I don't get it out of storage often, but It IS a "special" occasion...I will share my broom and Cat is sharing the boom boom boomedy with all of us... Peg is sharing the bongo with Clemens talented DD so now Clemen doesn't have to share her broom with anyone... :) Yes, Clemen.. so crazy and silly! lol I must run off and eat some food and get in Survivor mode!

Debra, odd you posted that pic!!!! Tonight I followed a minivan, a combine, and a truck pulling a combine part... we were going 45 for about 2 miles... I followed for about 18 miles at 30-35.. no way to pass unless they pulled over and let us.. they even had 3 opportunities.. and they were not concerned with us 5 or 6 cars having to go slow..guess it's just so typical, now-a-days....why would anyone concern themselves with someone else's displeasure or discomfort.. hi everyone . is there a party going on here or something :). we spent the day outside . it was 60s and nice . so i got dh to put some lattice up that will hold some passi vines . and cleaned up some of my messes i left outside . and some of the dogs messes . we have a rottie and a pug . you should see dh and me with shovels scooping up the stuff arguing almost yelling at eachother over who picks up poo more . of course i had to say well if you do it so much how come there is so much out here ? lol . hes no match for me lol . he says i only want to do the fun suff . well yah .
ive got plumie seeds growin and still one datura . my cuttings look great . they look super green . i dont know if its the lights i have or what .they look like they have been colored with a crayon . maybe its because any green looks great this time of year. my baby bud is still there. i hope it dosnt drop . so how long do i have to wait . its 2 cm lol . i see 2 more buried in the leaves .well tomorrow we start xmas shopping i dont like my kids getting a bunch of useless toys and things . so we are going to hobby lobby and get a bunch of kits and art supplies and things like that . science kits , building kits you name it . i love that store . i could redesign my whole house and yard from that store wel ttyl its time to go to sleepy town lol .

well I have to admit I didn't get up on my own..lol.. my lil Pom started barking her head off, and i know by now.... when she starts there's no going back to bed. The bee men were just leaving. They had set a bunch of hives out front. They do this every fall, and sometimes spring. It depends on when they have loads coming in or going out as to how many hives we have here. Going to be an interesting day, cause they are disoriented and will be flying everywhere.. but they will settle down.. thank goodness

Mornign Everybody, racing to catch up with ya. All ready out of breath from chasing across the streets dogs, they got out this mornign and headed to my plac eand then thought they was gonan go play in the woods, luckily was abe to catch them before they got lost again. We can't figure out how the little stinkers are gettng out.

I was surprise dthe other day, when my favorite oldies radio statione d starte dplayign Christmas carols all ready, and it not even Thanksgiving yet. All day logn that all they palayign now. Guess I gott afind a new station. I love the song Jingle Bell Rock, but cna only listen to it so many times a day.

we got a good dose of rain yesterdya dn stil all drizzly and misty out this morning. Hopign for a little sunshiene but dout I will get it.

I popping in and checking , but busy ith the seed swap freenzy which reminds me, if anybody happens to have a fe w extra brug seeds they can share I got some storm victims that have brug seed srequested on their wish list. Bonnie - - Red Sisters is a cordyline - couldn't think of it yesterday - I loved feather boas when I was a little kid ---grass skirt -OM - My grandparents too me to Hawaii with them when I was 10 - but looked older - 5' and mature for my age - - Anyway - made friends with a hawaiian girl and she taught me the hula - and THEN FOR YEARS - anytime anyone came over - they would insist that I put on my bikini - grass skirt, leis, etc and perform ARGHH - I loved learning it - but performing in front of everyone especially friends families that had sons - How embarassing

Becky - I would definitely put the banana in the ground - I t has a really good root on it - mulch around the base - If on the odd chance it dies - give ya a new one in the spring

Morning everyone. Coffe was good, thanks. Back from the back doc, all is fine. Got new scrips for pain meds. We had a wonderful steak dinner at Outback, and the french onion soup is so good. So was the Margarita!!!

I lost all of you for a couple days. I don't know why it stopped showing that I was watching this thread. I felt so lost, but feel better now. Potting up some brug cuttings and they are looking good. I have a couple that are really stubborn. I see roots in my dirt, but nothing on top. They aren't going to get a new home until they show me some leaves. Trying to germinate some plumeria seeds too, never had good luck before but not giving up.

Pegi Glad you found us again...8 of the 9 Plumeria seeds I germinated are growing..Hoping they don't get too tall/leggy too fast...
Just need to get them through the first year I guess..Then they should be fine...
These plants are Not for the impatient...LOL

Out of 26 Bruggie cuttings i've lost 3 and 3 or 4 more are struggling...looking like they won't make it : (
either...and First Belle after a long long time just might be showing signs of life she's getting some leaves and maybe
just maybe some nubbies..she seems to be the most stubborn one...without dying off...

Phyllis... we just overwinter the bees for however long they need them here, but they give us a case of honey for the use of the land. I wish it was local honey, but it's Sue B. I went out taking pics this morning... I have some buds... FINALLY.... lol.. and sure hope I don't lose them.. I'll share a few pics.. this one is the bees, and I am sure they aren't therough yet.. but there is 104 hives out there now.. lots of buzzing going on!

Beck you need to put some bruggies along that fence line and
they'd sure get pollenated when they bloom...

And Ms Kitty sounds better than Hula Esther..

Insurance guy just called no go for today...tried to tell him that we're making arrangements for the truck to be here

I was wondering why the bees couldn't do the job too. I know we have those moths, but i am wondering if they are still around? I finally have 3 different brugs with buds... now just hoping they bloom at the same time.. here's monster white.. the one that bloomed in September.. during Ike. She has tripled in height, and shot up another trunk from the roots. This isn't a good pic, to show ya'll how she's grown, but it shows some of the buds
