Well, sistahs, I've been keeping a journal of everything I eat since Tuesday (should have thought of doing that last week) so I'll have something to show the doctor tomorrow... so, maybe he can make more sense out of what's going on with me. So far, I can't find a rhyme or reason... but I'm not a professional.

Don's on his way from the airport, and has already told me he's taking a nap as soon as he gets home... these trips just kill him... he's been up every morn at 5am, then not get back to the hotel before midnight... says he's too old to be doing that. Poor baby...

Was it one of you ladies that had the recipe for a crockpot dish for a southwestern chicken that had creamcheese in it? I knew I should have copied it when I saw it, but I didn't and now I can't find it. :O(

Yes, Phyllis... I am noting the pains... mini attacks that diminish on their own without pain pills... full attacks that require 1/2 a pain pill... and major attacks that result in full dosage and intimately vomiting.
I don't eat much oils, no fried food at all... and no, I'm not including salt, pepper, spices... but I do write down the butter I put on my bread. And I am noting liquids... each and every bottle of water, iced tea, Dr. Pepper, and cup of coffee.

HI Jaye... dang... you crashed? How did that happen? You watch your sugar so diligently... what did the doctor say?

Trisha... I just saw footage on the news about the mud slides there in Washington... looks pretty darn bad.

Tell us Jaye. Did the doctor change any meds, added?

All our prayers Kathy....I come from a family of back problems....my sis in New York is going on her third week off work with bad back problems so you are both in my prayers this week.

They always have some mudslides up north but we have been pretty lucky in our immediate area. We get some flooding out in the valleys occasionally but being right on the bay Olympia is well positioned to avoid most of the problems. If we have extreme rain and get an exceptionally high tide at the same time they might get get some water down town...but it has been many years since that happened.....will pray it stays that way.

One of those inexplicable things that happen to the less than normal folks like me and you BJ!!!
Lol!!! I used to keep a journal, and see which foods will spike up my sugar.. well, threw that journal out the window! It don't matter what I eat, I have to keep increasing the insulin. Kinda frustrating.. and Deborah, I'm still sticking to the same meds for cholestrol, blood pressure.. and nerve pain. PTL, I still managed to laugh at the doctor's office, and I promised him, exercise more.
This is vicious. My meds make me gain weight and sometimes I give up!! Kel loves the fat me, but the fat me is not healthy!!
Yes, I'm also diligently sticking to once a day Special K diet. If it takes a week to lose 5 pounds... it might take me 2 weeks instead!
The only good news at the doctor's office is ... my mammogram came back normal!! Whew.. thank God!! ^_^
Got this to share with any of you that's suffering from leg cramps. I found that if I hydrate more during the day, I don't suffer at night. Also, eat more bananas. That increase my potassium level.

It is windy but we have Sunshine today!!!!!! we'll take it, will give the rivers a chance to recede and hills some time to drain out......the counties up in the Seattle area have done so much building and it is mostly newer construction areas causing a lot of the problems with slides.
Have to take Mom down to pick up a ring she is having reset, pick up veggies at the market (only have one more week left), then we're going to Michael's to pick up goodies for another Santa!!

whooo hooo doin the happy dance dh just called and said my Santa package is in town...the mail person left a card saying they missed us but he was home and never heard anyone honk in the drive but he is goin to go get it around 3:30 when it should be at the P.O.

I love Outback but never go. What is the fun in eating alone! some of my friends are into healthy and that means no this that and the other so we go to healthy places. Doesn't do ME any good as I just don't lose weight no how.
Going to a Red Hat pot luck tonight and taking Pumpking Dump Cake. It smelled so good last night when I baked it that it was all I could do not to cut a piece right then. But I restrained myself. So easy and yet sooo good.

I have a question, all you brug lovers.
Those two brugs that I rooted from cuttings in plain water... I put them in pots last week... they're sitting side by side on the sun porch amongst jungle out there. Just since yesterday, something ate all the leaves on one of the brugs, and didn't touch the other one... 2 other potted brugs are sitting nearby, and no eaten leaves... nor are any leaves on any other plants eaten... just that ONE brug was bothered. Wonder why?
