(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Kim, sorry you’re not feeling well, but hot toddies do help.

Phyllis, that’s pretty cute, they turned out way better than I ever would have imagined. I don’t think they would work for me though, I wear my slippers out side and they’d just fill up with water in our rains ;o)

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

well they are all lovely now I just have to find patterns to look at and decide what to make LOL

I know you like purples so you tell me as I am going in the morning after my 1st shift to pick up the rest of yours and send them out ...do you want ones to go with the purple shades or is there another shade you want to go with.

mmm may have to pick up stuff to make some slippers too ...hehehehehehe

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Hilarious!!!!!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Just pick some that will go with just about everything! (Of course, I DO love purples!)

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Here are my two tuna casserole recipes

Laura's standard tuna casserole

2 c. uncooked rice (can be substituted with pasta)
3 c. water
Frozen veggies of your choice (I like peas and corn)
1 to 2 cans mushroom soup
1 can milk
1 to 2 cans tuna (Can be substituted with canned or cooked and minced chicken or other leftover meats)
Spices
Plain Potato chips
Cheese

1. Mix rice and water, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook for 10 min.
2. Add vegetables to rice; cook covered for another 5 min.
3. In oven safe pan, mix mushroom soup, milk, tuna and spices together.
4. Add rice mixture, stir well.
5. Turn oven on broil.
6. Top mixture with crushed potato chips
7. Cover potato chips with sliced or grated cheese
8. Put under broiler till cheese is melted.

Mac-and-cheese tuna casserole

2 boxes Mac-and cheese, cooked (The Velveeta shells and cheese works best)
Cooked veggies of your choice (I like peas and corn)
1 to 2 cans mushroom soup
1 can milk
1 to 2 cans tuna (Can be substituted with canned or cooked and minced chicken or other leftover meats)
Spices
Goldfish crackers

1. In oven safe pan, mix Mac-and cheese, vegetables, mushroom soup, milk, tuna and spices together.
2. Top with goldfish crackers.

Or do a combo, follow the directions for the second recipe but top with potato chips and cheese, or do the first one and top with goldfish.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Had dinner with the MIL tonight just popped in to say good night......Please say a quick prayer for all of those up here who are having to evacuate due to high water from all of our rain......I hope we aren't having a repeat of last winter....at least where I live if we have flooding we will be looking for the ark....but joking aside so many people live along our lakes and rivers up here and are in serious danger of being flooded out again and really need our prayers.

Have a good night everyone.
