That is beautiful! Bet your boss will be thrilled with it!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

You can't know just how thrilled I am to view each and everyone of them...

Think because it was done on-line it made everyone more creative than if we were all in a room together just DOING the project..

Now I have to find something that will be cheap to post...an awe type of project for next year won't I...

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Judy, I love the full head of hair, well thought out!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Everyone has done such an exceptional job I think we should go out and buy ourselves a big Christmas present.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

like More Santa Fabric?!?!?,,,

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Sounds good to me. I'm going to buy some more fabric to make clothes for my new Christmas present that arrives next week. Maybe some yarn too just to make her a couple of sweaters to keep her warm.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

What do you have coming?

LK

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

A teacup Chihuahua. I've been babysitting her and her daddy for DH's boss and the baby is about 4 months old. Daddy's name is Cocoa and her names is Pebbles. When I get her I will show you pics. Cocoa is used to small children but Pebbles isn'i. Thet have a 1 year old and she doesn't like the puppy.

Victoria Harbour, ON

That will be so exciting..imagine the outfits you'll be able to make...a puppy santa????surely there must be one...

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

I been looking all over the internet, I guess I will have to make one up.

Victoria Harbour, ON

It will take some adjusting to but am sure Pebbles will love her new home...can't wait to see her...

Another masterpiece, Trishia! His robe is so rich looking. Is it red or more of a burgandy? Nice choice of black trim.

My poor Santa is still standing there waving 'I'm here'! He has been very patient. His day will come, poor guy.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Come on Debra, you can do it!
Trisha, those colors work very well. Are those the faces you painted or are they from Betty? Very nice details in them!

LK

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Thanks all. This is a bright Red and I love it. This is one of Betty's faces that I did the painting. You really should finish him up Debra, it really doesn't take much time at all.

Glenview, IL

Trisha, Trisha, Love it.
The Bright Red is gorgeous. Looks all shimmery.

To answer Liz's ?...The second green with Sparkles is Velvet. had the sparkles in it.
Still have to fatten him up and give him a belt.

Come on Debra, Finish your Santa...The best part of the whole thing is decorating him up.
You'll Love it!! and i can't wait to see your creation.

You know, Betty...This years workshop has been so much fun. Everyone has delightful creativity. I have really loved coming to look at all the Santas...Wouldn't it be cool if they were all in one photo? eyebrow raise! for this i wish i was still at work...hmmm....
lol, NAH

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

How can you get them all in one photo?

Beautiful, Trishia. And Judy, the sparkles really add 'umph'! Do you think regular velvet could be lightly sprayed with glitter spray?

LOL! Yes, I will love it and hate I dont' have the time. Too many other projects taking priority. One of my problems is he has a broken hand. His mitten somehow came off the wire and it's all hot glued shut where I can't get to it. I overstuffed him, also, with the batting. AND ... the fabric for his robe is too stiff. ROTFL! Wow, did I learn a lot on this first try. He will get finished but I've got some gifts to work on first - otherwise, there will be a cute Santa on the table but no Christmas gifts. Someone might be a little disappointed!

I really wanted to do this so I can perfect the technique and made several Santas using late DMIL's fabrics/furs as gifts for family members next year. Want to be happy with my practice santas before I start cutting up her clothing. You will probably see me posting my santas throughout the summer months! LOL!

Glenview, IL

Good old fashioned Cut and Paste.

Need good printer to size them all the same, print them out...Cut just the Santas and then Podge them together.
Like a collage.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Like in the paint program?

Glenview, IL

No Linda Kay, i was talking of paper. Lets see if i have a picture, to show you an example.

Although...I bet it could be done in in Paint...might have to give it a whirl.

OH, Gosh, Liz Forgot to tell you How Pretty your last one for Boss is. Did you give it to her yet??? didn't think to ask that either.
geesh, my mind has blank. If so did LOVE it?

Debra, i hear you on the Busy, busy...today i am in laze mode. Should be doing gifts, but oh my gosh, I think i am over my head this year.
So, I have to rethink my list.
Now see The Practice one is a great learning tool. That was a great idea...
Oh my gosh how incredibly special the real Santas will be...I will be watching out for them for sure.
Bummer abou the Santa hand.

Ferndale, AR(Zone 7b)

Wonder what he would look like with a cast on his arm????

Glenview, IL

LOL, Would be different, hey great for a Doctor or nurse friend...oh anyone in the medical field.

Ok Linda Kay, Here is an example of a podged collage.
Of course there is a story, lol...

Last year Betty's Workshop was creating Victorian Santa Sleighs.
Well my MIL came to our house for a visit and she really liked it. Said she hoped she would get one.
So, I was decorating the house, setting out photos of my kids and the idea came to me that it would be so special to her if my kids
in there little Santa Suites were on it. So I came up with this sleigh.

And i am glad you asked, because i actually forgot about it, maybe I will make one for myself, or something similar.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

That sleigh is so nice, and even more precious with the babies on it!

Let me see if this one looks decent. I put them all in the paint program...

I'm here, not quite feeling my natural self...was fighting nausea this morning and now I'm freezing, have the micro furnace under my desk on..chilled to the bones as they would say...

You all continue to amaze me...and Judy that photo of the sleigh for MIL is spectacular...what memories it will bring her...

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Tried the sewing machine on the first two and gave up....just needle and thread and fabritac.
