Laura, I'm so glad to see you posting, girl friend niece. I'll check that link out. My granny fed us all sorts of wild game coming up. I'm a lot smarter now then I was back then. Now I don't mind saying, "what is this?"

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Care to share that recipe, Deborah? Or Judy???

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness in sending me brug cuttings, Deborah. I've got roots and BIG nubs coming!!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

JUdy, I'm giving you ten minutes to answer Marion with your recipe, then I'll jump in. I'm afraid I'll miss something.

That's great Joyce! It doesn't take long at all for them to root. Now when you pot them don't let the soil stay too wet. Let it dry out some before watering the second and on until those water roots acclaimate themselves to grow actual dirt roots.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

My daughter paid $1.89 for gas yesteray in Georgia.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

LOL Deborah, Joyce ask for the recipe but I am lurking waiting for it also! I used to have one but over the years it has been misplaces so it will be great to have it again. We love it.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Maybe that price will work its way up to me. I paid $2.04 two days ago.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Cwap. I meant $1.67.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

We still have it at 2.21 --makes no sense does it.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

You are kidding!!! Send me a tanker full please sistah.

(Laura) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Deborah, if you don’t like tuna try replacing it with canned or minced chicken; I like tuna casserole, but I like it better as chicken casserole.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I pay $2.43 for premium

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

The summer time we'll see the gas price jump sky high. Only because they can and everyone will wish they had invested in a hoarding tank in their back yard while the price is below $2 bucks.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Marion, I just talked to you on IM areyou multitalking?

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

4 more minutes Judy.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

You're right deborah, I told Rick we need to get a tank LOL. That would be cool if we could do that. My friend has diesel tank in the back of his pickup truck. They travel alot pulling a 5th wheel so it comes in handy

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Debora... the Jiffy is for the corn casserole I posted up there somewhere... last night... Judy asked for it.

I think the tuna dish was posted on a past thread... I'd have to go look for it... but I do remember it.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Trying to Cindy.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hey ladies, Marion and I both have IM on aol, would be cool if we could start out own chat room...Who else has IM we can invite you to join, but I think you would have to sign up with aol, right? I don't know alot about this pc stuff. I'm learning something new everyday lol

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL it's hard to do

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Heading to PO to mail BJ's candles, LK fabric for reindeer, Stacey snow baby fabric, did I forget anybody? LOL BBL

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Times up Judy. LOL

Judy's famous Tuna Casserole
(This recipe can be cut in half for two people. July has teenages and we have big appetites)

2 cans of tuna fish in water drained
pkg of cooked egg noodles
can of early peas or your choice
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
use 1 empty soup can of milk
mix together in pyrex dish
top with crushed crackers
top that with shredded cheese
bake 350 until bubbly
say grace
dig in

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I have Yahoo messenger... but that probably won't work with a chat room.
We don't have AOL... what's AIM?

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Here it is so you don't have to go looking

JIFFY CORN CASSEROLE

1 can whole kernel yellow corn, undrained
1 can cream style yellow corn
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 stick butter, melted

Mix all together and pour into large, lightly oiled casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Ya know... I bet that tuna casserole and the corn casserole would go good together... might try that tomorrow when Don get's home.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

to answer the question way up checking to see if they are eligible to ride means if they live outside the 2mile line to be able to ride to and from school as some do not get on at their home and try to pass it by to go to a tyler school instead of the district they are in or another tyler school then they are suppose to

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Yum....thanks ladies!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I paid $2.09 for gas last week.
Jaye and somebody else said they wanted a good cornbread reciepe. I make GREAT cornbread, if I do say so myself!

Cornbread
1 cup selfrising meal
1 cup s/r flour
buttermilk
1 egg
bacon grease

Mix all together except the grease till about the consistency of cake batter. Heat IRON SKILLET with grease in it. Pour grease into mixture and mix. Pour into skillet and bake in a preheated oven for about 20 min, till top is brown and cracked around the edges!
Serve with butter or not!
Good with white beans, with green onions cut up with hot bacon grease poured over the onions. Add salt as needed.
Ummmm! Make you slap your Pappy!

Enjoy

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Sounds yummy.

Do any of you sistahs have the brug Pink Velvet? I tried to get it in the Brug coop they just did, but I was too late. I LOVE the picture of that!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

So Phyllis sounds like the kids parents are behind them going to a school not in their district, huh?

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

not I Joyce. I'll be on the lookout for it though for you,

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

^_^ Thank you Deb

Back from PO, had them confirm what the insurance covers. Receipts is a must. Even if it's home made all you have to have are the receipts showing you bought the stuff or a catalog showing what the item was. I told the guy I buy my containers at Thrift store he said that receipt will work, and the receiver is the one who has to show the proof to receive the insurance money.

Good Day Sistahs!

Thank you Deborah for sharing our recipe. Hope you all like it too.
Oh my i love the idea of making it with the cornbread too, will have to try it.

Uhm, so i am real late in saying hello, but this is why, So laughing Deborah because i still don't know much...Here is what i told Best, Worst and Learned.

Well, a major decision has been made, finally!
However it wasn't quite the decision we have been waiting to hear about.
LOL, so the good? news is We still have a job for the moment.
The bad news is, Our group(s) is back on hold as far as what "support"
will be needed. Which means, we have no idea when consideration will be given.
Basically, A new, "streamlining" starts all over again.

This is just my take on the situation.
On a professional, business part of my Brain, I have got to admit it is a very good thing that they did...but alot more people will probably loose jobs as far as I can tell.
Right now...I just might make it to 22 years afterall! And, the way i have to see it, is every year counts at this point...So, Now you have it, lol which isn't much. In the meantime, I will be at the office untill further notice....hahahah, got to laugh, because I am out of tears.
...LOL, was concidering asking if i can work from home. if they need me here, i can be here in 30 minutes flat!...Then i figured, better just make the trekk in, to keep me on some sort of schedual, besides Betty, LOL I am openly working on Santa!

Ok well, wanted to tell you my news...Will make a post when I return from lunch

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

At least you know something and can go about working as usually without the guessing game. Now, Judy, if they'd just get you some orders so you can stay busy. I know that's what you like to do.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

yeah some try to get by with it but with my laptop and we now have a desktop in our office we can check all the routes and confirm rider ship

Yep new room.. don't pick up the crumbs Marion. They're pebbles!!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Afternoon all........recipes all sound good...now I'm hungry!

Rain, rain and more rain....gladly trade for a little sunshine.....

We are thinking about winter sowing.....never done that before. Also have a roll of really heavy clear vinyl that I hope will work to cover in my bedroom patio....it is already enclosed with a half wall on one side and lattice and window screen elsewhere. Did that so the cat could get "outside" but not really.....ie. away from squirrels and bird feeders, and keeps the kitty box out of the house. She has no interest in any of my plants so she should be able to share the space with my plants.

Have a few projects I need to work on today so will check in later...
