Sewing Linda Kay? What colors next?
Looking for a play mate, Marion? :)
Explain Debra. Slow here today--blond thing you know.
It was your posts: Reading Debra? Sewing Linda Kay? What colors next?
It sounded like you were looking for someone to come out and play with you. It get's quiet here sometimes.
Wish I had been reading - too much laundry and other things in the way. Hoping to sit down after dinner tonight and begin the adventure!
LOL I just ordered some more candle scents. I need to order my wax by the 100 lbs Oh Marion, have you found those containers yet?
ROFL!!!!
Well, I take quiet anytime to dead!!!! Poor Laura and Trish, they need to move closer to our time zone!
Okay Debra, I was just curious what every one was doing? Nope wasn't looking for company--just waiting for a reply from daughter about dinner tonight.
Yes, Laura and Trisha need to move closer. How much difference is there? 2 hours? Or 3?
I am working on my victorian santa, and I have a bunch of leaves cut out! I think I will sew the light weight webbing on them to turn, instead of having raw edges. I may do one of each, and see which one I like? Decisions! What is a sewer to do??? LOL
LK
They are 2 hours from Here, so it is 3 hours from you Marion.
LK
Oh Cindy, yes I have located the containers. Need to get them packed so they won't break and get into mail for you.
BTW, where is Janice lately? Tinky I know is at work but sure do miss her.
LK, be sure to let us know which method you like the best. I am really curious as I love applique but don't like the raw edge and satin stitch gets so heavy sometimes.
Thank you very much. I am always confused on the time.
OH KEWL!!! If there are some containers you want filled send them. I'll email you my scent list. Here that ladies if you have a favorite container you'd like made into a candle I'll fill for you.........................
That would be really great. I just want to make sure they don't get broken during the mailing process--hate opening a box with nothing but broken glass pieces falling out!!
Hi Marion, Jaye and everyone!
I am here, posted yesterday for Debra's birthday!! I think mine got lost in all the viewing of materials, lol, I am the slowetst typer and by time I was done there were like ten posts made so you probably didn't see me..
Waving hello, in meantime, been busy Creating at home in between laundry and running my daughter around.
work is long boring and still waiting word...You all have kept me company. Because i do read everyday.
Ok on switchboard today so...saying Hello!! lol, again.
Thanks for missing me.
OH Linda K, hope you having fun with Santa! ...which reminds me too Debra how Cool you got a visit with Santa!! Hope you told him your wish list...lol(more quilting stuff?)
Yea I know, I've been insuring my stuff. Doesn't cost much to insure but if it's broke USPS will pay you whatever you put as the value. I told the lady that you can't put a value on something made from the heart. Then I proceded to tell her about LavinaMae's birhouse form FLStu...that's when she said insure it.
Joyce, I hope not, I better not say to much!
I know for a fact, that is you file an insurance claim with the post office, for a broken item, I had to have a photo of the object, and a retail sales slip. I told the lady it was a hand made gift, that was broken, and she told me they don't cover handmade gifts. it had to be a retail purchase, in order for it to be covered. They had to have proof of purchase!!!
Now this may have been a story, just to get me out of the office, but I left really mad, and she new it!
Talk about wanting to go postal on somebody!!!
I never got my refund.
LK
I wonder if we kept receipts for everything we put ineo a wreath, would they refund that?
Boy!! That kid has a head full of hair!! Soooo cute!
Cindy, love the Santa photo. Did you make the suit?
LK
Afternoon, yep 2 hour or three hours difference depending on where you are.........
Raining in the 50's here, more rain and high wind predicted for tonight....going to have one unhappy puppy dog....she does not like wind at all.........
Have to finish getting the beard on my Santa before I leave for spin class tonight....mum got a look at it and wants me to leave it with her for the evening.....the neighborhood stitch and B*T#H group meets at her house (they don't stitch any more..LOL..!) and she want to show it to all of them.......the hair and beard are the scary part of the project.......so I have turned on the Christmas music and we will see what happens!!!! If I don't mess it up completely I will post a pic when I am done.....
Did someone say Biscuits, Gravy and sliced ripe tomatoes!!!!! Oh yum!!!
Jaye I think we are going have to get all the Sistahs to march to the Doctors office with BJ and tell him he needs to get on his stick horse and get this problem figured out!!!!
BJ you are in our prayers, hope it gets sorted out very soon....
WEll I need to see if I can put some hair on this old bald guy....will check back in awhile....
No I didn't make the Santa suit. My daughter was born with thick coal black hair and both of her kids also.
Trisha, will you ask your mum to finish my Santa for me? At least you're getting constructive help!! Kel just makes these quizzical faces at me!
Audrey sent something I think you all sistahs would enjoy.
Importance of Walking
Walking can add minutes to your life.
This enables you at 85 years old
to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing
home at $7000 per month.
My grandpa started walking
five miles a day when he was 60..
Now he's 97 years old
and we don't know where he is.
I like long walks,
especially when they are taken
by people who annoy me.
The only reason I would take up walking
is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.
I have to walk early in the morning,
before my brain figures out what I'm doing..
I joined a health club last year,
spent about 400 bucks.
Haven't lost a pound.
Apparently you have to go there.
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise',
I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
I do have flabby thighs,
but fortunately my stomach covers them.
The advantage of exercising every day
is so when you die, they'll say,
'Well, she looks good doesn't she.'
If you are going to try cross-country skiing,
start with a small country.
I know I got a lot of exercise
the last few years,......
just getting over the hill.
We all get heavier as we get older,
because there's a lot more information in our heads.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
AND
Every time I start thinking too much
about how I look,
I just find a Happy Hour
and by the time I leave,
I look just fine.
Not sure if you realize...You got three different thread being posted!!!
LOL, I am on switchboard and holy moly, even i am confused to where and what...
Hi Deborah, I copied your post to Betty into the Workshop and Marion i think posted in SI 53, LK helping me with directing SI traffic...LOL then you wonder why i lurk, keeping with is something else!!! Too funny.
Cindy What a sweet picture Grandpa Santa and your Grandchild!!
Trisha...just take your time with beard.
LOL, one ringy dingy, lurk ...snort...
Go ahead and snort away Sistah Judy. Dusty won't be alone!!
ROFL.. yep, I had to direct Sistah Deborah.. Marion kept eating the crumbs!!! If not for LK, we'll be lost!!
Ok, posted in the right place this time.
Marion, it seems better, but not gone; still no other symptoms of being something more than just a sore throat, but **** if I now what’s causing it.
Marion sure likes eating the crumbs doesn't she lol
OMG...I am so laughing,
2 ringy dingy, snort giggle, giggle.
Love the bread crumbs and all...
Has Deborah found us yet, see she sistah found Betties room next door Jaye...
OMG...ROFLOL, shhhhI m on switchboard.
Well if someone would feed me I would have to go looking for crumbs to eat!!!!
Careful Judy, don't get my crumbs wet!! They want be nearly as good then!!! ;-(
I'm trying my best to read all the threads on my thread watcher and I'm getting totally confused I may have answered a few on the wrong thread when I had more than one window opened. Glad Judy came to my rescue and moved one over for me. But it gave my fried brain a scare until I realized she moved it for me to the right thread. I was thinnking at first Judy and I was on the same brain frequency there for a minute. I'm the world's worse to post then puff, it's gone. Then I forget what I was even talking about. I guess my fingers get ahead of my brain and they hit the poof key. Wamo it's gone.
Debra, bumping elbows with those great minds in the Ohio reunion would have been a jaw dropping experience for me. I love to "listen" to people who are well versed on current and past events throughout history! History being my most favorite subject. But geography is my worse. Do they go hand in hand? I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall with big ears and no mouth. 'grin' Glad you had a ball, sweetie. You didn't tell us if ya'll had a formal attire dinner? What did you wear? We (I) want to know what you wear to an event like that. My husband goes to conventions and sometimes I get to go too. I'm holding my breath for the day when he tells me one night will be a formal affair. I guess a black dress would work for me?
BJ, are still in pain after all that doc has tried? Ditch that doctor and find you one that can help you. Ask for your medical charts to be transferred. I'm being bossy but I'm also being a sister "Dorothy"!
Where's our new sistahs? What about Kim and Kim, Tina, and Tina, Donna, JoJo, and I'm missing my list but please post when you can.
If anyone asked me aquestion, I've already forgot it, or you can back track all the threads I've been reading today. I'm sure I answered you on another thread? sigh.
Well, it took me about 15 mins to find this post without losing it. here goes, I hitting the send button.
LOL Marion, Trying not to.
Uh Posted Several post up to you. uh I understand now why you didn't notice before....
Want some tea to go with your crumbs while you are getting caught...
OH my gosh not being mean, just giggling.
So Deborah, you have been thread watching and jumping today? No sewing?
Oh yes, Judy, tea please! Not fussing as long as I have my crumbs.
Waving at Laura and Trisha, they may be still eating lunch. The time difference catches me of guard. I'll certainly chat with you two tonight if y'all are up and around DG.
No sewing, just visiting with friends? "grinning like a cheshire cat that ate the bird" couched up a feather##
