You're welcome, BJ!! I love biscuits and gravy! Better with sliced ripe garden grown tomatoes!

Does anyone have a pattern for making slipcovers for a reclinger?
Good morning, sistahs!
LK, that's going to be a beautiful table runner. Great colors!
Laura, you would have enjoyed the group of people at DH's reunion. They are all well educated, well traveled, and very interesting to spend time with. Many had parents who served as diplomats or other government positions. Others were in the military or worked for large corporations (like my DH's father). They all agreed one of their favorite teachers was their English teacher, Mrs. Aimes. Does the name sound familiar? Her son was Aldrich Aimes - the infamous spy.
Susan, are you really like Rose? She had a big heart - so we know you do too. Do ya'll miss the Golden Girls show? That was one of my favorites. If every sister had to choose one character they are most like, who would it be? I'd have to say Dorothy. A little cynical, strong personality, independant, but has a soft center.
Remember the theme song?
Thank you for being a friend,
Travel down the road and back again,
Your heart is true,
You're a pal and a confidant!
And if you threw a party,
Invited everyone you knew!
You would see,
The biggest gift would be from me,
And the card attached would say,
Thank you for being a friend!
BSF's could replace the word 'friend' with the word 'sister'. :)
Just before leaving for dinner last night I found another birthday present in the mailbox. From Marion! A box full of quilting magazines and an incredible book called the Quilter's Bible - a 'how to' book for everything quilting! OMG! I can't wait to cuddle up with that one. Marion, your sentiment 'the sister I chose' brought a warm feeling in my chest and a tear in my eye. Thank you for being so generous.
I received two gift certificates from the quilt shop where I bought the new machine - one from a close friend and one from my aunt. With my sister's birthday money and the two gift certificates, I'm going to be equipped to do some fancy sewing, quilting and embroidering! If you don't hear from me again until spring ...... you' ll know what I'm doing! LOL!
I'd have to identify with Dorothy, too, but a little like the southern bell, too, what was her name? You know, a little flirty? Doesn't mean a thing, though, with me!!
Blanche.............hmmm I think of us as "The Calender Girls" remember that movie? I've watched it twice and will do again. I like the part where she says "We're going to need bigger buns" Great movie
Humm, not sure who I would identify with. The one played by Betty White--a left of center and a whole lots of ditsy!!
Debra, you had better surface before spring or the book with explode!! See what you didn't know is I inserted a tape recorder that shelf destructs after so long. So of like Mission Impossible. Enjoy evey word of the book--card too.
Well, it is back to that dreadful black and green wool--and it almost 75!! It is getting hot under that coat.
Marion, I'm bringing over your post, next door!
Betty, go to the blue tab and click on "MY INFO". Then click "Manage your friends & group" Have your list of dg names and the name of your group. It could be Santa part #4 or something of that nature so that it won;t be the same as your last name of the group. Then you'll go from there to write your dmail by choosing the new group you just entered.
By the way, I got that 2nd kit and I'll get the money in the mail to you. I'm going to do a santa for my mama. That worked out great for me.
New room ladies, scroll up for the link...

Marion, it seems better, but not gone; still no other symptoms of being something more than just a sore throat, but **** if I now what’s causing it.
Opps, meant to post this on the new thread, *shrug* don't know what happened I had it open.
On to the new room http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/922758/
