I have plenty of time on my hands and can do a vote thingy if you all want me to.... just let me know.

I think we should list them all (maybe dmail me your suggestions) and I can put them in a spread sheet.
then dmail me your selection and I will put that in the spreadsheet and tally up. etc.

we can maybe then take the top three names and have a vote on those to see which is most favorable.

anyhow, just let me know if you all want me to handle it...cant do much of anything else right now :( cept sit at a puter all day! lolol!

Morning BA’s

Yum, cinnamon rolls I love them, and I need lots of coffee this morning. I zoned out on the love seat in front of the TV, woke up and spent a few hours tossing and turning. Slept until 7, but I’ll be out of it all day. No sun here today, very warm but dreary. I hoping the rain stops, I got a bunch of OP in the mail yesterday that I forgot I ordered way back when. I wanted to make a new bed but for now I’ll be digging a few 6” holes, anywhere I can fit them.

Anjl that sounds great, I dmail my choice in today, TY for volunteering. I’ll be around if you need any help. Gorgeous blooms you posted.

Debra that cestrum is looking good; I’m going to have to go into the other room and re-read. I may have missed your offer in the mist of all the huff.

The thread jumped so fast to a new one, I got left behind, maybe some others did too and will find the new one. Next time I gonan grab somebody's shirt tail to hang on and fly to the next page.

I went to Lowe's yesterday and got some of that Orchid Moss, thanks to the pics somebody posted I got the right stuff. Now I wasn't able to get a whole bunch, garden department got all the Christmas stuff out now, so I wondering this. Can I take like a small amount of the moss and wrap it around the nubies and then take a pot filled with dirt and make a hole down the center and place the moss wrapped stick down in it. Will that work do ya think?

OP = Orienpet, probably botched the spelling on that one, they are Lily bulbs that are a cross between an Oriental and a Trumpet, you get the best of both worlds. They grow really tall 5’-6’ on 1 strong stalk with loads of trumpet shaped blooms. My kind of plant, very easy, little care, and they are hardy here.
Yup slept in this morning, but really did not get much sleep at all. I’m sure I will turn my schedule around, no reason for me to be up at 5 anymore.

Well, our temperature is going dooowwwnn (30s) and the wind is playing like crazy. Leaves everywhere. No more pretty colors on the trees. But my brug stumps that I cut off are putting on new leaves. And everything I have brought in has good nubbie growth. This is so different than the luck I had in the early summer when nothing would root for me.

Hello BA's I have finally found out my problem with trying to copy individual posts. I have wndows XP and when you copy things it temporarily puts them in a clipboard. But, I had no way of looking into the clipboard to see what was there to move it. There is a glitch someplace and I had to do a few things to change that. I am hoping I did it properly. BUT the goood news is that 1AnjL gave me an even better way of doing it and I did it and it was fine. Thank you all so much. Such a small thing takes forever to figure out. I hate computers sometimes.

Now that that is finished I can get back to work on important things. I have a brug question. How old does a plant have to be before it blooms? I am so anxious to see what my little ones look like in bloom I can hardly contain myself.

Hope you are all well and happy. I have had a miserable headache for days and I never get headaches. I have only one eye and just got new glasses a few weeks ago. I have not been able to see properly off and on since I got the new prescription. I have a cataract in the good eye which makes it difficult to determine what is causing the problem. I went to the eye doctors today and the girl who has made by glasses for many years found that the new ones are made of a certain material that I can not adjust to. It seems there is a LAW that says people with one eye MUST have the type of lens that does not shatter if in an accident. The material is what has been causing me the problem.
She remembered that sometime ago before the LAW was passed I had to have the lens recut into plastic for the same reason. I had forgotten that. So, we are trying another no shatter lens in a different materiel and if that does not work they will have to use an industrial plastic which is thicker and not as nice looking. Can you imagine, now there is a law that says I must wear certain types of lens in my glasses? What is this world cominig to? I must get to work. Finally told them I'd find someone myself after waiting all day For their guy to call me back
And never did....
So I called a local hometown boy and he's gonna open up his garage tommorow
morning for us so we can get the estimate and get the ball rolling.....
Jez....Life is sure happening alot here...LOL

JB can't help you on the time table of when they bloom...I'm thinking it depends how happy they are
and for 4 years I guess mine haven't been too happy...LOL

Don't know, Phyllis. I said that over here while we were in the Chat Section - and anyway it was part of the joke. Someone would have to be pretty dense if they thought I'd really have run for office. The site was something where you could put anyone's name in and it showed them running for office, in a dummy commercial. Like some of those Jib Jab sites where you can put yourself into the video.
