Like said the other day... if no one changes their phone number... we won't be lost... I've got almost everyone on speed dial now.

A while back... when Joey came up missing... we all discussed giving our phone number to someone they trust just in case another BSF turned up missing again... it's been nice to have them handy when we haven't heard from one sistah for a while.
Plus... some of us have called each other just for fun.. or just to share giggles... or to find out information when we're not close to our computer...
I know, I have enjoyed speed dialing some of you... hope I don't make a pest of myself.

I love getting phone calls from my sistahs.

Well, I like talking on the phone too, but I also hate it because of my hearing. I don't always understand all the words, and I have a funny voice lol

Cindy... my mom didn't hear well either... and I had to speak to her differently than I spoke to most people on the phone... sometimes, I even had to spell it if she still couldn't understand... but we always got our thoughts across to each other eventually...

Just talk normal to Cindy and she'll hear fine. It's when someone over talks too loud that can get confusing. Tones are the issue, Right Cindy? I have a southern drawl so most can't understand me at all.

The one with the snow babies?? I would LOVE a pillow out of it:)

That was my mom's problem too.. tones... I just had to articulate my words better for her... and not take the "slang" short cuts that most of us use all the time... like instead of saying "don't" I would say "do not"... things like that.
And if I spoke LOUD, she couldn't understand at all...

Yep that's me yep yep. I don't know why my parents never sent me for sign language, maybe they couldn't afford it. I remember, back in 65 -66 they had to sell our house because they couldn't afford the payments. Know how much their house payment was? $50.00 a month. Unbelievable huh

AND Don has a problem with hearing certain tones... actually, he teases me sometimes that he married the first woman who had a tone he could hear... it's mostly women's voices he can't hear well.

Got my bags packed, laundry done, house picked up, and close to being ready to leave town so taking a quick break to say hello.

BJ, I know this sounds over simplified, but it's worth trying if you haven't already. -yogurt- Just a tiny bit can help get your natural bacteria into balance and handle any 'uninvited' guests better. Not saying it will fix your problem, but it might help a little. Would you believe we used to have a dobi/lab mix who got urinary tract infections all the time (dobi's have very narrow hips and are prone to bladder/urinary tract infections) and her vet had her on antibiotics time and time again. Our dog trainer said the antibiotics were killing off the good bacteria with the bad and to give her yogurt to get it back in balance. She never had another infection! Promise! I have an issue with western medicine for that reason - our doctors are too quick to prescribe drugs that have side effects instead of dealing with the root cause of the problem. I'm not referring to you and your doctor, BJ. I'm just on my soap box and developed diaherra of the mouth while up there. LOL! (yuck)

It's gross to think about, but we have all kinds of bacteria in our bodies - good and bad. Some are very bad if they get overpopulated for one reason or another. Even reflux or anti-acid meds can reduce the acidity in our stomach that naturally keeps certain bacteria under control allowing them to get out of control - and a whole new problem is created! Certain bacteria can live in our stomach and not be a problem, but if we aspirate them into our lungs they cause an infection. (am I impressing anyone with the stuff I've learned while working at the med center? LOL!) Ok, ok, enough talk about bacteria.

That fudge cake sure sounds good. Was someone going to post the recipe for Bailey's? Did I miss it?

Still have to get a bath and wash/dry my hair. We will roll out of bed and leave for the airport around 4:30am. Ugh!

Glad you liked the Fairy Fart jar, and the wreath. I looked all over our Wal-Marts for blue and silver things for a wreath, and that is all they had. I sent the little "let it snow sign, in case you don't want the ribbon on it! And the Snowman is just because. I b ought the same stickers for myself, thought they were pretty, and I knew you would like them.

Thank you so much LK:) I actually have a couple things here that I had been saving for something special and I might put them on the wreath-it is PERFECT!!! I love it-the colors are perfect, love the poinsettas and the bells:) The stuff I might add is that stuff that lookd crystalized-maybe, haven't decided yet, and I think I like the bow just as it is:) You did a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier!!

And I about laughed myself silly with the fart jar!! It came with a little thing about Fairy fats being lucky for your garden too!! That is going in my box of garden stuff and then in the spring it will get a coat of Spar varnish and get hung in my 1 tree in the backyard!!

The jar is painted with purple acrylic paint, then some clear glitter glued on. The butterfly is a little like doily picked up at Wal-Mart, that is just glued on, and I found a string of the beads, that I strung on there. It was juut something silly I made for out Tinkerbell!

OK-so here is what is going on-I am being micro managed and my District manager is now asking the other girl I work with about conversations I have with clients and what I do all day-all because of a couple things that happened yesterday (and something else)-when he came in I was reading the president elects victory speech to a couple of my workers that don't have a TV and wanted to hear it. The whole thing took less than 10 mins and he walked in at the end-he voted the otehr way (trying to abide by the rules and be pc here) and because he is used to always being right is pretty PO'd about the whole election. Then I dispatched workers to a job, and when he and the current manager went out to check on them the were doing something WAYYY different than the client told me about-of course some how I was supposed to have my cryatal ball and know this was going to happen. So I got chewed out 2X yesterday for these 2 incidents, then again this am at 6:30 about yesterday and more, then again about the fact that "with the amount I make hourly I should be having results greater than everyone else", and then again for the same thing.....after all this I thought about the fact that all the people that have been there for a while over the last 8 mos have slowly been going away, I hadn't really thought about it, and assumed they were finding better opportunities, after all this my new train of thought is "get rid of these higher paid peeps and get in new ones making A LOT less"....I am almost tempted to cut off a toe or something to not have to go in anymore....I have also noticed that our 2 largest accounts that I handle, they have been slowly giving part of the work for them and communication to the others in the office.....

It is so good to have our miss fairy back. Gosh we missed ya. I have a secret I have a secret, cant tell but I am going to the post office tomorrow. It might be late tho before I make it, I have to go pick up "something" 3 hrs away.

Another subject, I am sooooooooooooo glad to be rid of stress and turmoil, I feel like a new woman.

I can't wait to be just like Tina-I have been the hunchback for the last few days....

come on over here. I promise a great punk nephew ( that is in lots of trouble, just got back from teacher conference) for you and NO stress, it has been a very long time. We can do it up right.

OMG!! I just got a phone call from Deborah....OH OH I was giddy with happiness. I actually got tears. Rick looked at me like I was crazy then when I told him who it was he just smiled. He knows how much time I spend here with you girls. He even threatened to turn the electricity off so I couldn't get on the computer. I threaened him big time LOL ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
