So I tell you what ladie uh Sistahs---I will revive this idea after the holidays and we will do something for Valentines day when everyone else isn't. Everyone donates at Christmas --it's the Christmas spirit but then it is over until Christmas next year. These kids need gifts all year around. Will that be okay with all?

I had a stress test done today, and it made me sick, I hope I'm over it by tomorrow! That's why I haven't been on here much today!

We are interested in the idea, I think, when we get caught up with what all you are talking about....non-quilters....after the Holidays and car repairs etc. are caught up...it has been a long day....I'm in the middle of a bike club board meeting right now.......

Sounds good to me. Just way to much going on now to start with this. I would be having to make a choice between my sistahs on DG or the festival and that would be a rough choice. Both are important to me.

Marion, I really like the idea of this baby quilt donation thing, so when you get it all straightened out after the holidays, you make sure you let us know when and where to send them. Maybe a variety of rag and or regular type quilts? Some can be bought if they can't sew, or maybe a soft cuddly toy or something?
BJ, get some rest, and hope your feeling better also. Go see the Dr, and hope he can figure it out?

Well, flour(of course), C&H Sugar(and no other sugar, just C&H), coconut(I toast it in the oven and make my own haystacks), and corn meal(DH loved cornbread).

I love swans, Indian collectables(Friends of the Feather are my favorite), flo-blue dishes(I collect them), daffodils(all white and/or pink and white), Thomas Kinkade(the gazebo, streams, garden gates, bridges, not the light houses or houses), wind chimes, I like Angels, Angel wings, crosses, puzzles, I collect cups and saucers and antique plates, Happy Bunny caps, and I love Eeyore!

I love cobalt blue, and the color blue on Flo-Blue dishes. I also like burgundy and pink.

I like doing graphics on the computer, I have a T-Shirt press and design lots of shirts, I don't like to sew or iron, I do like to etch and carve(but with the arthritis in my hands, I don't do it as much as I would like to), and I love chai tea. Oh, and I make lots and lots of fudge.

Well, that should give you a few ideas, LOL."

Good morning., wow what a very nice peaceful night it was. Yes little Punk boy went right to sleep, he was tired. We didnt get blown away last night now I need to go out and see how many birds did.

Good morning! Looks like we may get a little rain today - sure do need it.

I won't be around much today as we are leaving early tomorrow morning for Cleveland and there's so much to do between now and then. Had a long visit with our dog sitter last night. She will be taking Woody with her to some kind of rescue dog agility demo that her friend she calls the 'dog wisperer' organized. Woody will have a fun day, he will get micro chipped while there, and her friend will have an opportunity to spend time with him. (he will be spoiled when we get home) Her friend will come to our home later to work with us to see if there is any way to keep him. Can't tell you how depressed and upset I've been over the situation.

Great ideas out there about making quilts for kids. Looking forward to hearing more later.
