Harmony... here's the recipe... it's really simple.
I mix it in a "re purposed" jar... (it's a joke around here, cause I re purpose jars a lot)...
Makes 1 cup... will dilute to 4 gallons.
1/3 cup cheap dish soap
1/3 cup household ammonia
1/3 cup white vinegar

mix that up real good... then put 1/4 cup in a gal pressure sprayer and finish filling with water... during bug season, I spray everything (all my plants) about once a month, or more often if the rains wash it away. You don't need to saturate the leaves, though... just a light mist is enough to make it untasty to them.

Any interesting recipes you want to share from them?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Dinner sounds good, what tinme should we be there?
Cindy, those butterflies are so pretty, you need to cut out some fabrics, and start putting some together?
Cindy, I would like the prints, if no one else speaks for them, It would be nice for the reindeer pattern I think?

And thanks for all the emails Marion.. I don't check them till late in the evening.
Kel says I have enough fabric to pad his coffin too!! Lol!! And, he says he'll work for lemon pie :D
Tatting Cindy. The ancient art of lacework. My granma made some beautiful antimacassars and table cloth. I wished I had learn it from her.

By the way, please convey our birthday wishes and pleasantries to your son BJ :)
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BJ'S SON!!!"

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

LK

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

and choccie ice cream!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Trisha, Our old truck is 10 years old... and has never given us a minutes problem... soon as it does, we're off to buy a new one... only because it's got a whole lot of ugly all over it.... the tail light is taped on with painter's tape... sheesh...

I can't wait to get a new Pick Up... but I'm kind of enjoying not having the payment too... maybe when we get the Hyundai paid off, we'll do that sooner.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I will, Jaye... thank you...

Yes... CUZ... I'll have a slice of your fudge cake... with vanilla ice cream... and a cup of Deborah's coffee... thank you.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

How did I miss the fudge cake part? Must have got side tracked with the boston butt and garlic 'taters. Yes, please, fudge cake here!!! Oh please--now I am going to have to think about something chocolately for dessert tonight.

One lemon pie coming up. BTW, if my Mom's key limes keep holding we can key lime pies. The tree is so heavy the limbs are drooping. Keep your fingers crossed they don't start dropping to soon.

Jaye, tell Kel I don't use a box springs under my bed--fabric supports it!! Mine, the guest room, DD's room and the dungeon if I ever get to set the bed up in there!! Maybe soon--son suppose to work here all day Saturday. We shall see.....

Sorry BJ, guess I missed the birthday too. A big wonderful Happy Birthday to your son.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh my if BJ is having 'niller ice cream can I too? I eat lots of it now!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

ROFL!!!! Marion, so where did you hide the "Pirate" if you have all those fabrics under YOUR bed????
LOLOL!!!!!!!

Antimacassars, LK, are used on the head rest of stuffed salon chairs. Ladies used to have oil in their coiffures, so those antimacassars help protect their furniture...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)
