Morning all,

I'm up and running, the coffee is ready and the cups are on the counter. I think there are some cookies and bread left from last night over there on the table. It's a chilly morning here, hope the sunhines for every one today.

Beck, prayers and hugs for you and Lyle today, hope all goes well. Check in when you can.

Donna.. mornin girl!!.. can you believe I am up with you early birds?? I didn't sleep well last night anyway, so was pretty easy, even though Lyle really woke me up..lol... but my Pom keep me up the rest of the night!!..lol... Hey.. I'll just grab a big cup to go of that milk and sugar flavored coffee..lol.. save a cookie for me for later when we get home.. sounds good!!...TY girl.. that means a lot to me!!

Mornign everybody. Thought I might be up first to fix the coffee, but was a bit of lazy bug this morning, so Thanks for the coffee offer Donna.

The problem is I just can't reach it, it barely beyond my finger tips, so could ya push it a bit closer to me. Wrapped in a blanket to kepep warm while I sittign here.

Would like to get a refill, but know that gonna be rough if somebody doesn't start a new thread please, this one got my computer groaning and straining to get here this morning. Don't know if having trouble digesting so many posts or saying it hungry and wants more cookies. LOL

Karen, I know I gonan loose this thread somewhere's so if ya don't mind, would you send me a dmail with the Ornament list and your addy and what I do again to make sure I got it right, that way I won't loose it. ( crosses fingers : )

Happgarden, thank you for the offer of Daylily seed. Oh how I love them little black pearls. I have a bunch of them to get started, so while I thankyou for the offer, will pass on them for somebody who maybe doesn't have any. Thank you though. : )

Off to go look at the photo contest for awhile and vote for them. So many beautiful pics, it always so hard to decide. Computers and cameras, what would be do without them. So much knowledge and so much beauty we would have missed.

Hoping for sun today here too, gonna see if maybe I try and get some of thes elimbs burned up. I stillgot downed stuff to cleanup from Katrina and Rita. Think I running just a tad bit behind. LOL

Hello everyone, I've been gone for a couple of days and in trying to catch up, discover that catching up is impossible. I've read thru post dated Nov.4, 6:37 and saw AuntB's beautiful bloom. Sorry about all the upset on "our" forum, no matter what we have to call it. I also read that another newbie has no brugs. I CAN HELP. I have white and pink NOID's and will be glad to share. They have been in water and are full of nubbies and the tiny beginning of roots. Just let me know if anyone wants these plants.
Please forgive me when I say this, I mean no harm at all, and I did not complain, but in all honesty, because I am new to Brugs., and needed to learn everything (still do) it did get hard to keep up when we were ALL having so much fun with every other topic. I have loved you and this forum from the day I asked to join. No matter how we are labled, or where we are, I will continue to lurk often and post sometimes. I do consider us all to be a special kind of friend.

Hi everyone ...I just wanted to pop in and say please don't leave the brugmansia forum ...some folk are very "intense" about their angels ...so please don't be offended.I and some of my friends were chased off a forum once so I know how you feel ...but look at it this way ...in this forum you can chat away to your hearts content ...that is why it is called general discussion & chat. So have your happy chats but when you need help or advice or just to learn, please pop over to the Brug site ...it is a great place and most of us are learning ...so don't feel intimidated by the experienced folk, don't fret about the complaint's, have fun here but don't forget the beautiful angels over there, most of the Angel lovers are so very generous and supportive.

HI chrissy!!! I remember a while back that some 'people' were denied the right to post on the brug thread by Admin but they were still able to lurk on the threads cause they were big-time TM's...

I don’t have any problem with anyone on the burg forum and plan to continue to post on the threads there. It is unfortunate that this cause such an enormous commotion that admin found it necessary to give us a public reprimand, we would have moved to GD&C ourselves if we had been asked to do so. I do appreciate you taking the time to let us know we are still welcome.

Thank you, Chrissy.. I think we're all pretty much feeling like mud today, well I am... I will not elaborate, at the chance of offending someone. I've been ignored or shunned from so many brug forum threads on DG I can't count them all.. I've been made to feel ignored, stupid and unwelcome.. after enough times, I stop posting.. then I see a newbie being treated as I was and I invite them to come to our thread and learn and be welcomed. This "ugly snake thing" that happened to our "she's about to thread" is just one more example of the "elite" crowd over there, looking down their noses at all the newbies or less serious brug-growers .. No thank you.. I'll stay here on this thread with people who are warm and thoughtful of others. I'm not saying I won't lurk on the brug forum.. oh yes, I will, I pay my membership..... I still like to learn and there are such great ideas about doing things, but I DON'T have to comment and risk being shunned or even share my pathetic thoughts or ideas or even let it be known I'm there. And it still won't stop me from d-mailing a shunned newbie and inviting them here, cause I KNOW the shunning and uncalled for rude behavior won't stop. I will however send personal d-mails to brug forum excepted dger's that I know aren't shunners.. I still consider you whatever it is we are here on this thread and hope you stop by from time to time and say hi. I'm not leaving DG, just being a bit more careful of which parts of the garden I visit and FOREVER more intirely too cautious about how I word things and what people could possible fathom from what I say. Only my true friends here will know AuntB..oh and you lurkers still out there reading all this (insert word of your choice) drama..

I can see life is just peachy on this list today.
I was gone for a few days, only because of the election , etc and today when I went to see what was going on, poof ,gone, not there, disappeared....I could not help but think I had been thrown off for those long posts I had posted. I was feeling a bit sad when I decided to write a few private Dmails to see what was going on. I found you and I read the posts regarding the move of the entire list.
I can only say, if it is what the DG Administration wants, fine. We pay our money and we are entitled to alot of good stuff but we need to go by the rules.But if because someone has a problem with us chatting about things other than brugs and/or our name, they need to step up and say so to our face, not behind our back. Having said that. I am annoyed and think this has been handled poorly.
I got here because I made an error calling a brug by the wrong name. I privately settled that problem. I now know you need to watch every word you say and where you say it.
That just isn't any fun.....I used to get paid to be perfect and I do not like doing it for nothing. I will not tolerate having to change my way of life for the sake of some silly a** who needs to get a life. If in fact that is the case. Karen, Aunt B, Chrissy, thank you for having me and if I am still welcome, I will follow you anyplace you go. I will also be more than happy to take on anyone who wants to give you a problem. I too am a livid latin.

I am so sorry you feel like that ...these threads belong to everyone and yes a few times I have been "flamed" or ignored ...maybe it's the aussie brashness in me but I won't go away or be ignored because some folk think they are better than us ...everyone starts somewhere and I know a lot of these "more experienced folk" forget the helping hand given to them on the way ...in my Country the Prime Minister is no better than we are and no one is less then others ...come on everyone support each other if you feel ignored or they are rude it only makes them ill mannered to treat you in that fashion ...be 'bigger " than them.Having said that I think that 90% of them are happy to share ...look at Eric and even Monika coming in to give their advice ...please don't just lurk.

JB you are welcome to our thread, you are part of it.. I wondered about you, today.. before you contacted me.. I'm glad you found us I appreciate your support for me and US as a group, and your genuine heartfelt words....still, I encourage everyone to check the brug forum ... a lot of interesting things to learn.. but our humble abode (this thread) will always be my dg comfort zone. Chrissy, you've posted on those old "she's about to" threads before and I know you are true-blue and genuinely a good person..I love your curiosity and the passion you have for growing, and that Aussie "brashness"... maybe I will reconsider at some future time.. and thank you for the hug.. I needed that!

Chrissie, I have to admit....I like, TOTALLY have a thing for Aussie men! We are so fascinated by their rugged good looks and accent here in the U.S. Are they that great in person, LOL? (cept for crocodile dundee, I don't like him ever since I found out he left his wife of 30 odd years for that blonde woman that co-starred in the movie with him....)
