No warning here, but 3 Dmails from Terry the Admin saying that the threads have been moved. Pretty funny we were complained about when our "lurk" count is always over 1,000....Had to be a Brug forum person tired of seeing our chat threads....Well, God love em if they ain't got nothing better to do.

Makes no mind to me where we converse! Sorry to have possibly offended anyone... public or within Dave's Garden. Now they can get down to brug discussion and we can lurk on them... (Guess they'll never know we don't use those little symbols when we talk on the phone ;) So, should we rename ourselves the Hoe-Hum Brug Bums or somethin?

well, we can always just change the name each time! who cares.. we get the link at the end of the previous thread anyway so as long as you are keeping up.. it does not matter...

This morning several of you received a note from me, saying one (or more) of your threads had been moved.

Most of the threads I relocated were originally posted to this forum, which is a bit like my hall closet - full of stuff I don't know where else to put. It's easy to rely on the General Discussion forum for posting anything and everything, but it gets pretty jumbled in here - hard to find what you're looking for...just like my hall closet ;o)

Please remember we have over 100 forums (and many more have been requested!) - and each of them exists because enough people asked for a special place to discuss a particular subject. If you don't seek out and use the appropriate forum, two things happen:

1) your thread may not be seen by the people who are most interested in that subject, and could give you the best advice; and

2) the forum eventually gets archived because no one uses it :-(

So we just put Brug in the Header and people will find us when we pop up on the little screen...

It's just the serious growers/profs over there on the brug forum... Not that we aren't JUST as serious as they are... but, it happens at every garden website I've been on. I knew it would get here sooner or later... we just have to play by DG rules. Some dger got miffed.. no prob.. we're all still here.. come on....I love you guys!

Thanks Jaye, but that's not much comfort to me. No matter how you try to make light of it, someone was pretty ratty. We were the Brug chatters, that's what defined us. We will live in Gen. Discussion, but that's not who we are.

Must've been a pretty detailed complaint, also included use of using symbols instead of inappropiate words....There have been several of us use that on the BRUG chat thread, so whoever complained had a long list.

You could boil an egg on my head too Clemen. Not too hard either to boil down to the few that might have done it. There are only a small handful of serious, regular posters there. Let them be all serious and professor like.....I'll bet they are like that in real life too. Sour pusses

Clemen, it'll be okay, we just hafta be more careful how we say things and make sure all our threads start off with a brug picture.. whadda ya say .......?? (still want to reply on Terry's ah-oh thread on the brug forum.... but I WON'T) Guess I'll be holdin my nose a little higher over there from now on, I can learn to behave.... I feels warmer over here, already!

Here's a possible explaination of the astrik:

Hi...I beleive the astricks next to the name thread mean that they are no longer open to unsubscribers...Only those who pay subscribtion are allowed to read threads with Astricks...It doesn't mean anything bad.
They might have moved it to General discussion for just a home base, don't know where it was before. So be calm and happy chatting in your new home space!
