More or less, I might be coming down with a cold, but I'm not sure yet.

I know that feeling, I have been trying to get one I think. Probably allergies for me tho. Which I dont usually have allergy problems, just this past year. It is probably an age thing :).

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone. I know your not up yet, well Stacey might be, but I just could not sleep. I ate something last night, that did not agree with me, and it woke me up about 1:00. If I was not sitting on the toilet, I was leaning over it!!! I feel better now, but am wide awake!
Kim, glad you liked the goodies. I had to get 9 different Birthday gifts out for October and November, So I just bought all the same thing, and stuffed them in the bubble envies! Octobers were late, and November's are early.
The time changed a couple of hours ago, so don't forget to change your clocks back an hour.
Will check back in later

Good morning! Thanks LK. I was a little confused about the time - my clock and the computer were different. Forgot to 'fall back'!

Youngest step-son is coming for his birthday lunch today along with his girlfriend and DFIL. Didn't get his cake baked or gift wrapped yesterday so off to do it now. While the cake is baking I'll try to find a dining room table underneath that pile of fabric.

Great costumes, Laura!

Have a great day everyone. I'll try to check back in this afternoon.

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Morning. It is mighty foggy here. Going to be in the 80's today guess I can get something done out side even if it is wrong.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Sorry-I slept in a smidge-got up @ 7:30-DH got home late and insisted on a conversation after I had been sleeping for only like a half hour:( Then my sinuses have been killing me with the warm up, cool down, teeter totter fall we've had!!

Kim-OOO-a new puter-how fun!!!

LK-sounds like you had a mild case of food poisoning-that is when it comes out both ends!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Morning All,

I forgot to set my clock back an hour so therefore I was up at 4, dogs had to go pottie. I don't know why they always wake me up, when Rick is next to the door ugh!

It rained ALL day long yesterday. The dry creek bed behind my fish pond is now overflowing, if it gets any higher it will be flowing into my pond. We have this oak tree in our yard and I had put this face on it last summer. I thought it was kind of strange that the middle part of the tree was wet but the rest stayed dry. It really makes the face stand out.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

That's cool, Cindy... looks like the rain just wanted to help highlight the face a bit.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I received my fat quaters from Linda Kay, yesterday. The two green ones are my favs, but I like them all. So we are going to do this every three months? Looking forward to more fat quarters..............

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

To those of you that sent me fabrics and laces for making Barbie clothes THANK YOU!!! My DGD is going to have the best dressed Barbie ever lol. I did make a little coat out this funny fuzzy stuff that BJ sent. After I make more clothes I will post pictures.

I will probably not be on much as I need to make some xtra money to pay for Bucky's cremation. So I will be pouring candles and taking them around to sell. But I will be lurking............

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Cindy-how do you want us to order our candles-on the marketplace, privately or from your site??

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

privately here's my email. purpbutfly@att.net

Stacey here is a link to a online craft store. I notice on another thread that you were looking for little top hats............. http://www.consumercrafts.com/Store/Default.aspx

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

OO-thanks for the link:)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

how big is a mm?????

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

I don't know I'm looking thru the book (they sent me one) to find the hats I know there is a pix

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Some are in mm, some are in inches, just trying to figure out the best ones to go on a 2" white pom pom...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Did you figure out the mm size yet? I think that 25 mm is 1 inch

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

really?? That is a lot of MM:(

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I just googled it and yup-25.4 mm is 1 inch-then maybe the 2" hats for the 2" pom pom?? What dya think??

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

They have some 2" felt hats that they don't show online

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Stacey... hurry up and send me those scents and I'm sure I'll be buying some candles from Cindy...

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

BJ, I'll email you some more info on the candles. Not all of the scents that I have are in the box that Stacey has

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Kim, LK sent me what she sent you, except the smelly goods are a different flavor! I likee!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well good morning Sunshines!!! Yeap I did remember to set my clock back--gained an hour!! Atleast in my mind I did.
Not sure what the temp is this morning but it is a bit windy still. 20% chance of rain but toward the end of the week we should see high 70's or low 80s. Is it fall or late summer?

Oh Cindy, do you need some more scraps for costumes? I, too, am interested in candles so will be checking out the site!! My daughter loves them so with a birthday coming up for her, guess what she gets? Nice fabrics!! I sure hope we do continue swaping them every three months or so. Great idea you came up with BJ.

BJ, then again, you are always coming up with great ideas!! Keep the brains working!!!!!!

Oh my Debra, looking for the dining room table? I can't image why? None of us have our covered--right!!! I don't know when was the last time I saw the top of mine but soon I hope.

Kathy, where are you sistah? Are you doing okay? Worried when you are joining us.

Joyce, check in and let us know how things are going. Didn't you do a great shopping trip this weekend? Tell us!!

Flaming Kim, there is more to come dear. I just have the slows lately but eventually will get my act together. We love you and are glad you are here with us. New computer--see your priorities are in order. Good girl.

Waving to Audrey or are you still soaking in all the wonderful things you got from Linda Kay?

Linda Kay, how is your Dad doing with your sister? I bet you miss him and are enjoying the break all at the same time.

Special wave to the Tinky Fairy. Humm looking for small top hats? You must be really busy--not lazy like this Auntie.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I got these metal bells from Loretta-I want to put some white pom poms on them and some little scraps, and make little snow people:) Hence the top hats:) Cindy-they do have them, I think I am gonna get a set of 12 of them:) Make some snow couples:) I now need little bows for the ladies-any odeas??

BJ-I will be mailing them this week-so hold yer horses:)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Stacey, can you cut the top hat and bows out of felt, or are you looking for a plastic hat? There are about 25 MM in an inch.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I am looking for things I can just plop on and glue:) I don't want to make the hats or the ribbons, and that site is AWESOME for the upcoming Xmas fairy swap!! They have a whole seasonal section for miniatures:)

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

They never used to be online. I think someone else bought the company, because it used to be Schrock's and you had to by mail, fax, or phone. Stacey that is where I'm getting the beads for your peacock. I think they lost my order. I mailed it in not knowing they had changed.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Stacey they have little bows too 50 in a pack for 2.40 1/8" size in red

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Holding my horses... but hurry. (JK)

I think I'll do the FQ swap again in Jan... then quarterly after that. So, April, July, October after that. I'll probably post it in the Sewing/Quilting threads though, to get more swappers... I'll put a link to it here. Stacey... you might want to add that to your Future Swaps thread too...
It has been fun, hasn't it?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Happy Sunday everyone!
BJ, I love the fabric collection you have. I'm into florals and Debra certainly complemented your selection. I think I have a couple in your stash :D One design but in assorted fabrics is a terrific idea!
Anytime and anyplace is the right time for fabric swapping.
Flaming Kim, never underestimate your worth with us!! We love you flamingos and all!! And congrats on your new pc toy.
You sew those costumes Laura?? Wow!! You look like a Fall Pixie!
LK, so sorry to read you were up all night throwing up! Hope you have completely got rid of the toxins in your system.
You did well LK in choosing those fat quarters. I like the green ones too and the blues..
How are you today Cindy? I think Rick got those dogs trained to wake only you :D
BTW, do you have something citrusy?
Niece, I didn't go to the fabric store yesterday. If I did, I'd be looking for the Thanksgiving fabric ;)
Got a couple of boxes of fabric in the mail, that I ordered online. I can see Marion shaking her head.. yes dear Marion, we are the queens of stash!! I know I have enough to heavily pad my coffin!!!!
Debra, what's a dining table?? Lol!!! I hadn't seen ours in years, always buried under some project, books, or buckets of cuttings!!!
Hi Audrey. How are you feeling today?
You're a wonder Stacey. Always running your brains to do create something, but why not quilt? One day, you'll catch the fever!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye, I'm better today still a little teary eyed. I'm missing my Bucky real bad :(

Ladies, I have posted some candles on the market place........

BBL need to do chores and grocery shopping

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh Jaye, I wasn't shaking my head, I was laughing out loud!!! The postal carrrier must think he does nothing but deliver me boxes. Yeap do a lot of my fabric shopping on line. Found some really good sites and the colors on the monitor show almost true--that's a bonus. Yeap, sistah Jaye, we be the Queens of Stash!!! I maybe the Queen Mother as I have had longer to do it. LOL Oh well, if there is a shortage, just think you and I will be in business!!!!

Sending Hugs to Cindy plus arms around you giving you a hug. I know those feelings all to well. I guess we all do!!! Just don't forget we are here for you.

Tinky, what size pillows were you looking for? Prints? Give me some info, please.

BJ, what does the juvie mean telling an auntie to hold her horses? We gonna have to train that gal for sure.

LK what are you working on now? I am sure you are up to something.

Well off in search of that thing called a dining table. I think we had one here at some time or other. Maybe I was dreaming it--don't know.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, I'm at a stopping point on my wreath project... so I thought I'd catch up on everything else I didn't say a while ago.

LK... I consider nights like that a good cleaning out... sounds like you had quite a night of it... I do hope you feel better now, and can take a nap today to make up for your lost sleep. (((( huggs ))))

Cindy... I'm thinking spicey or fruity scents... they'll be Christmas gifts ... if I can stand to part with any of them... Cant wait to see the little Barbie coat you made out of the funky purple piece... yep, she's going to be the best dressed Barbie in California.

Kim, I've got something I want to send you for your B'day... but it's going to take a while, I'm not finished with it yet (got way too many projects started at once) ... so, be prepared to celebrate your b'day again someday soon... ok?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Our Flaming Kim will definitely feel like a princess. More b'day pressies!
Your grand day is next, BJ. Got a list of something you'd love to have, besides the 4 men work crew?

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Afternoon, sweet sistahs and nieces! Yup, my dinning room table is no more. All covered with thread, sewing machine and fabric.
All finished with my centerpiece for Debras swap. Now finding a box and a way to keep it from getting squished.
Got to get out side and plant some butterfly plants and seeds, BBL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hello everyone. I am back from a nap. Tummy is still a little queezy, but better. We had grilled cornish game hen, and I guess it was not so fresh? Just taking it easy today, but working on the runner with the fall leaf cut outs. I just need different colors of fabric. I have 6 colors, but need more variety. Most of what I have are greens and browns. Looking for yellows, oranges, maybe some reds. (fall colors)
Marion, can you send me some fabric links please?
Will be lurking in and out for the day.
LK
